Honestly I can't tell if people following me on this account are bots or real people who actually read and liked The Grimm Legacy.

I would write my own fanfiction if not for the fact that I'm not a good writer unless it's an essay for school which is very weird.

y’know, Polly Shulman is a pretty good author. wanna know why i think so? the two books of her’s that i’ve read, The Grimm Legacy and The Wells Bequest, are interesting, unique, fun, and have such a good premise.
not only that, but her characters are diverse! female main characters, characters of several ethnicities/races (African American, Russian, Indian, English, etc), and i’m like 99% sure that there is a not-straight Asian male character. all of these characters are shown as people just being people!!
the plots of both stories do include what can be presumed as really fluffy heterosexual teen romance (not usually my taste, romance, but whatevs), but i’m suspecting a few more books following the same premise as these two, so maybe i’ll be gifted with an ace or other-non-straight main character (with or without romance), but who knows
anywho, these are good, cute books. i highly recommend them :D

And they’re both about Aaron and Elizabeth breaking up and Elizabeth being a single mom to their child.
I found only 2 The Grimm Legacy fanfictions and I don’t know if to be disappointed that there’s only 2 (as far as I know) or happy that someone actually wrote some.

Hogwart Houses
Elizabeth: Hufflepuff and you can’t tell me otherwise.
Aaron: Ravenclaw. I was going to say Slytherin but I think that ravenclaw fits him more.
Marc: Gryffindor :)
Anjali: Ravenclaw
Jaya: Slytherin fits her pretty well but I was stuck between Gryffindor and Slytherin.

‘The Grimm Legacy’ YA Books In Works As Disney+ Film.
David Gleeson is attached to pen the feature adaptation to Polly Shulman’s young adult book series The Grimm Legacy, which is being eyed as a potential franchise for Disney+, the forthcoming online streaming subscription service that is slated to launch later this year.
First published in 2010, the series consists of three books: The Grimm Legacy, The Wells Bequest, and The Poe Estate. Set in a New York Circulating Material Repository, the story follows a group of teens who work at an old-style lending library that lends magical items to people from the Grimm collection.
Jane Goldenring is producing the project.
Gleeson is repped by Verve and Code Entertainment.

“So how did you get this job, anyway?’ I asked. ‘My science teacher.’ 'Why’d he pick you?’ 'For my brains and good looks, obviously.’ 'Yeah, right. My social studies teacher picked me, but I can’t really figure out why.“ 'For your brains and good looks, obviously.’ 'Um, thanks.’ Had Aaron just complimented me? Wow

“What are you doing?“ "I’m darning a sock,” he said, holding it up to show me. “What’s that lump inside?” “A sock egg.” “A sock egg? I didn’t know socks hatched from eggs.” “Only the best ones do. I can’t wear the cheap kind, the ones that grow on trees. They give me blisters.”

““You’re saying I made you weak in the knees? Well, I do tend to have that effect on girls,” said Aaron. “You mean they trip all over their feet trying to get away from you?” “Ooh, harsh,” he said.”

One of the worst things in this world is finding a sincerely awesome book, reading it a thousand times, being obsessed with it, going online to look for fanart and fanfiction all excited and stuff and then realizing
Nobody knows what it is.

Listen, The Grimm Legacy by Polly Shulman is one of my FAVORITE books and I swear there will be a fan base for it even if I have to build it with my OWN BARE HANDS
(In all seriousness—go read it! It’s a short, fun read, with a diverse cast and great concept!)
