One of my close friends who is into webweaving and internet archival encouraged me to make a neocities blog for a long while, and I finally did! I used Zonelets, hence the default template, but I like it a lot and I'm having fun! I think relearning HTML and CSS is a good skill to have in my toolset. This will be my most personal website, where I mainly want to share my collections, data archival work, and annotations on the manga I read. for those who don't know, on the knights of guinevere website there's a password-locked staff only page at the bottom. the password for this page is found by taking the personality quiz and typing in the code in the upper-left corner of the image. it's the same code for each of the four results, so you only need to take it once.

Even before doing my previous Zelda painting, I already knew that I wanted to do this. It’s themed Ocarina of Time, however there are one or two easter eggs hanging around.  ;) I struggle to paint architecture, and if you haven’t noticed pretty much all my previous paintings have been based in nature. Couldn’t avoid it this time, so I  learned a few things! Based on Edmund Leighton’s painting ‘Godspeed’ (1900).

“no crew, no help, just pure hustle” cut to this poor woman bawling her eyes out. what the fuck is wrong with people? why is this being framed as a good or impressive feat? this person makes below poverty wages already. Burger King meanwhile takes in $27 billion in global revenue every single year. everyone involved in making this woman endure this should be tortured and force fed chicken fries until their heart gives out. fuck this country.

While I’d love to wander round like some kind of archery Witcher, if I was adventuring, I’d probably stick with the one. But that doesn’t mean I can’t have different ways of shooting!

My ancestors would have wanted pasteurization, vaccines, antibiotics, disinfectants, birth control, psychiatric medications, pain management, anesthesia. My ancestors would have wanted to be able to keep their loved ones around longer, and not lose them too early/too soon to childbirths, injuries, bacterial infections, mental illnesses, and diseases that are curable and/or preventable in our modern day life.

Modern medicine saves lives.
