Not to be a bitch but sometimes people engage with fiction in the most boring way possible, and nowhere is this clearer than in videogames. Like what you mean you hate a character just because they were kind of abrasive when speaking to the player character? "They were mean to me" and it didn't occur to you to wonder why? Like, what might their attitude toward you reveal about the world? About the social dynamics within it? About their own perspectives and backgrounds and personalities? Does it even occur you to ask? Would you only have liked them if they bowed to your presence and talked about how great you are? Like I'm sorry but you're so boring. How boring fiction would be if it cathered to you

@holdyhope I like that question, and I genuinely think Korsica would enjoy podcasts. It can be about anything, really - some deep tech advancements discussions, to two dudes talking about what type of ham is best to eat with certain wines, or someone telling a story about new pasta shape that has been invented.

Discussions with several people (iykyk) have led me to these conclusions:

Roxanne enjoys Facebook Minion Memes and sends them to Peppermint as part of mother-daughter bonding moment.

Macaron is that type of guy to send “Good Morning!” cards with flowers or a nicely set table. Otherwise he is completely oblivious to whatever is happening on the Internet

Peppermint is the most online of the group. She is the Troll™, constantly participating in discussions online that may or may not lead to ragebating (who usually gets ragebaited we can’t say, though we’d assume Peppa is usually the winner). The ever changing Internet lingo that no one seems to understand at times? Don’t worry, Peppermint will be there to explain it in no time!

Chai seems chronically offline. He understands some stuff, he’s not completely hopeless. But whatever we have going on with Skibidi Rizz and other Gen Z shenanigans? Yeaaaaah, you’ll have to be there to hold his hand and lead him through the trenches.

He may secretly enjoy Minion Memes, he seems very Millennial/Zillennial to me. He may still have HFR equivalent of Facebook account and that’s it.

also while i have robots on the brain. ive always thought its a little silly when media pulls "this robot wasnt built to be sentient but it glitched and now its a real boy!" but i do think itd be fun to do a variation like "this robot was built to be sentient but the ethics board were like 'hey i don't think we're allowed to sell things with thoughts and feelings' so the devs last minute commented out half of the code before launch day and now oops some of the bots have figured out how to access that part of their code again" . both slightly more plausable AND a lot funnier to imagine the absolute scandal it'd cause in the tech world.

Is Chai That Boy to smoke weed and/or eat edibles, or is he the type to say “Don’t Do Drugs”? Both headcanons exist in my mind, but not entirely separately.

I think Chai would dabble in weed shenanigans during his college years. Yes, it was fun and all, but he wouldn’t go as far as to become a literal stoner. He can be a responsible boy, TRUST. He read enough stories about rockstars and drugs, no need to follow some of his idols to a.. Tea (heheh).

Basically, Chai in my mind would be against hard drugs, but shrooms and weed? Eh, If you’re doing those, at least do so responsibly.

Oh yeah, and don’t egg him on to do alco shots.
