an excerpt of a scholar's account of irene the matron.
Irene was considered, albeit falsely, to be the leader of the Warriors. The Lady we know today as the Matron was once simply just a Lord’s daughter, next in line to be the Lord of Scaleswind herself. An interesting thing about Irene, however, is that she was noted in several different accounts to be non-human. Whether this meant that she was Elven or of another un-human descent, no one is entirely sure, but she certainly wasn’t completely human either. Accounts of Irene vary from region to region — yes, there are records of The Matron found in both Tu’la and Gal’ruk in addition to those found in our own Ru’aun.

RU’AUN
The Ru'aun Region is an extremely large and powerful region, with many landmarks, villages, tribes and City-States calling it home. As Ru’aun is composed of independent settlements, it has no capital. Irene the Matron and Esmund the Protector were both said to be from this region.
TU’LA
The Tu’la Region follows a monarchy, the King of the lands being known as a tyrant with a lustful approach to conflict. The capital city of Tu’la is Havas, and it is also home to the seaside kingdom of Coras, birthplace of Menphia the Fury, as well as the assumed birth region of Shad the Destroyer.
GAL’RUK
The Gal'ruk Region is a very large, cold island, surrounded by the Gal'ruk Sea located north of Ru'aun. It’s people are nomadic in nature and thus there is no capital. Gal’ruk is most notably the home of the Warrior Tribe of Enki as well as the birth region of Enki the Keeper. Kul’zak the Wanderer was noted to have lived in this region as well, though no home region has ever been recorded for him.

There are six realms the we currently know of, though there are most assuredly more than that out in the world that are currently locked to us as we are now. Each of the six realms are believed to be tied to one of the six Divine Warriors, with some slight overlap between them.
THE OVERWORLD
The Overworld is thought to be the realm of Kul'zak the Wanderer. Legends say that when he lived, Kul'zak traveled to every corner of the world and back again, never stepping foot in the same place twice. The Overworld is the place that most people are known to live and is the most habitable of the six realms.
THE NETHER (THE SHADOW ABYSS)

THE LAIR OF WYVERNS

THE SPIRIT REALM

THE VOIDLESS END (IRENE'S DIMENSION)

REALMS
THE REALMS are the different facets of this world. The ones we would be most familiar with are those of The Overworld and The Nether, but there are numerous others. This is not an extensive list.
REIGONS
THE REGIONS of the world are the places within the realm of The Overworld where people - both those of human descent and those not - reside. There are three main regions that are recognized, those being that of Ru’aun, Tu’la, and Gal’ruk. Any place outside of these three regions is henceforth referred to as Elsewhere.
SETTLEMENTS
VARIOUS SETTLEMENTS are scattered throughout the regions of (********). Some of these settlements are more important, historically, than others. The city of O’Khasis, for example, was once the home of Esmund the Protector and the royal seat of Ru’aun; or Tu’lian kingdom of Corsa, the ancestral home of Menphia the Fury.
NOTABLE FIGURES
NOTABLE FIGURES within the texts here are found aplenty. From long dead royals to more recent Lords and their personal Guards to those we know to be Shadow Knights, dark servants of Shad the Destroyer, as well as the various Werewolves and Magic Users who live in the many settlements scattered around the world.
THE DIVINE WARRIORS
THE DIVINE WARRIORS were a group of six individuals granted unimaginable power through the use of magical relics. They came from all over the regions of (*********). Contrary to popular belief, the Warriors were not born gods. Godhood was instead granted to them through their relics and the good deeds that they committed in the name of the people that they protected throughout the realm. The following is a collection of what we as a people know of the Warriors; much information was lost to time, and to conflict, but what is gathered here is as close to the truth as we can claim it.

THE IRENE DOCTRINE is a rewrite of the Minecraft Diaries series that was published on Youtube by Aphmau from March 11, 2015 to October 13, 2017. Many of the names of places and appearances of characters were taken from the original series, but many things have also been altered to fit this new version of canon I am creating. Much of the lore written on this blog will be written from the point of view of a currently nameless Ru’aunian scholar who is attempting to put all of the information regarding the Divine Warriors into one place. This means that some information will be contradictory or otherwise incorrect. There will be some corrections made in text. the masterpost can be found here. OOC; monarch, any/all, 22. askbox is open and accepting. this is a side blog, so follow backs will occur from my multimuse, @stubborngods.
