It's kinda sad, looking back on this.. I had big plans, high hopes... still wanna continue this for her, and.. Kinda did. I wrote it all out, just hadn't drawn it yet.

I figured I'd wait until folks showed some interest again, one last ask, something to push at that piece I spent hours on for the lore, of her staring up at the big testing facility related building on Planet Devastus, hinting at something that hurt, some trigger that happened at that very moment, and just.. Hoping someone would ask. Take a guess, or push me to answer, or.. I dunno, something..

Maybe I shouldn't have been waiting on someone else to push me.. like I kind of have been, with my waiting irl. Waiting for therapy, waiting for the meds to work, waiting for life to stabilize, waiting..

I don't even remember why I decided to wait.

Anxiety? Depression? ..Rejection? Probably some mix of that, I suppose.

But Tai's story still waits to be told, and I should get around to that sometime, I hope. She's one of my dearest ocs, so she'd never disappear.

It's just me that did, heh. ..Sorry.

I hope anyone who was watching for more stuff from me is well, and knows I'll be okay.

I still know the plans for this blog, and could continue at some point.

Tai hints at a sore past, then is pushed by someone to continue, so she does. I even had an animation in mind for that, but I might just share the wip, which is also on my YouTube channel, been there for a while, but... Never shared it here for fear of spoiling too early. But I just might post it on it's own to share here, if I don't feel like finishing it, hah.

She escapes to Urth, gets a job, makes this blog, meets someone (also had a wip animatic relating to that meeting), who y'all would actually get to see being met, and see their relationship develop, even letting y'all push them together or give Tai doubts, talk to Tōhi to see what all he knew (though he only speaks irken, and it's a much more bird-ish sounding version, but still understandable, bit like an accent of Irken rather than a sub-language.)

You'd see more hints of her being watched by those blue eyes, might even have someone point them out to her and have her look back confused, and play that out interestingly

And eventually reveal who that was and what role they played, and then that reveal would play out eventually in a scene, based on how y'all played with that one relationship, where that dream I'd mentioned would come into play some too

And it'd be baaaad news. Very bad. Tai would need a lot of comfort and help thinking and all, and I thought that'd be the best time for interactions to get more influential on her, in her moment of weakness, within reason of course, with you folks acting a bit like voices in her head in that moment, and see how that played out

Eventually she'd cool back down, and any recovery from bad choices could be done, and all that, and..

There was a lot more I had planned, beyond that, but..

That's just a taste, of course. To prove I really do remember, and still am sitting on those plans.

I'm somewhat willing to try and get back to it, if you're all still interested of course. Just a bit in need of motivation, y'know?

I'm tossing this extra, 3rd rough sketch animation thing, since I doubt it'll get more done on it, and therefore it's not spoiler related.

Apologies, as usual, just.. Someone liked somethin out of the blue, and it reminded me of what could've been, had I just pushed myself more rather than waiting. Felt like venting a little, but then kinda realized I might try again if it was wanted, and if not, I'm willing to let go, and keep all of Tai's story stuff between friends and all.

Sidenote, the silhouette is someone you haven't met, and the gal in the yellow dress is someone new, but that I've shown here before, even named off, if you recall, hehehe.

Yep, my vivid weird quarantine dream was involving Tai and the Tallest and.. someone else >.>

Someone new! Who I plan to include in later story stuff. The dream felt more like Tai using some sorta device to put me in her point of view in one of her memories, as though trying to insist this new person was important to her and the story, and it was all just so clear??

Man, crazy time for a second? If that dreams being a gateway to alternate universes thing my little kid mind thought is.. actually real somehow?? This would be the 5th dream to add to my personal list of evidence, hehehe.

A friend asked me to try and do one of those "The Gang and Their Shenanigans" bases, so uh..

Here it is~!

Tōhi found someone (a bit of a spoiler for the arc but it's not like y'all care too much, right? Hehehe) and brought them in, expecting praise, but.. Tai hasn't had her morning sugar, and she's just... too tired for this.

I shared this with said lovely friend, who made Tai's face an emote in their Discord server, so I woke up to that the next day, a very welcome surprise to be sure ^u^

If you'd like to ask anything, please do! This space is rather new, so I've only had a few asks overall, but that doesn't mean I don't want to post! I just don't entirely know what to post unless I skip to the story bits rather than waiting to lead the asks into the story ^.^'

finally finished after about 21.5 hours, woo~!!

On a calm, sunny summer day off, Tai is found working on some personal projects at home, awaiting the return of a familiar friend..

The sound of typing fills the otherwise silent room, along with the occasional crinkling of a large chip bag and munching that follows it. Her mind has nearly completely blocked out the existence of anything beyond herself, her snacks, and her computer screen.. at least it did, until a sudden THUNK rang out.

Thankfully, this type of thunk was somehow a semi-normal occurrence at this point, but she still couldn't help being worried and confused. After all, it could be something different this time...

As she looked over, the face of an owl squeeeeeeaked down the window, plopping onto the grassy backyard. Just as she'd expected.

A mix of confusion, disappointment, and annoyance all escaped her chest in a heavy sigh, before she turned to face forward and launched herself backwards with one strong push of her feet, causing her chair and herself to scoooooooot backwards.

She stops herself before she smacks into the window, turning the chair quickly to face it. Her hefty gauntlets slide the window up, and she sticks her head out to assess the damage..

Thankfully, Tōhi had remembered to tie the bag off this time, so none of the goodies inside spilled out.

Tai let out another, smaller sigh, looking at him with a stern, disappointed, and somewhat disgusted look. "Again?"

Tōhi looks up, still dazed from the crash.. only for it to dawn on him that, yes, he did indeed do this yet again. He looks away, unable to keep eye contact after messing up once more..

She realizes that she may have seemed a bit too harsh, but.. she couldn't help it, things were starting to build up, and she'd reverted, growing a bit more snappy than she'd been in a long time..

She pulls herself back inside and scoots back a little, giving him space to come into the basement window, and softens her tone and expression.

"It's okay... C'mon, get inside." She gently instructs.

He gets up, shaking off, floofing out his feathers a bit, before waddling over to the bag, picking it up with one foot, then flapping his wings a bit to fly over to the window, carefully snagging the lip of the window and balancing. He tosses the bag in, then enters the room the rest of the way, letting Tai shut the window behind him shortly after.

Unbeknownst to the pair, someone had been watching the whole time..~

Motivation is *still* low, but that page is still bein made, promise. It's tough to keep workin when you feel like crap.. but I promise I'm still goin.

How long have you been on urth? How did you wind up here?

*Tai pulls up, reading the ask. She pauses after reading, looking down with a sort of empty expression. She snaps out of it after a few moments, refocusing. She then does a quick reread of the first part of the question, she looks away, thinking hard on the math of Irken to Human years, as she couldn't help but keep track of time in what was most familiar to her. After some mumbling as she works out the answer, she looks up to the camera, a bit embarrassed that she's unsure of her math.*

"5 URTH years..? I think...? I usually let Tōhi take care of math, so..."

*She rereads the second half, and looks away, a bit uncomfortable, but not unwilling to answer, albeit vaguely..*

"As for how we got here.."

*A snippet of memory is shown, a shot from behind her, showing a familiar Devastian building, as a young alien walks amongst the crowd of others, who all seem greyed out. Tai speaks over the scene, finishing what she was saying.*

"That day was... Interesting, to say the least..."

*A recording uploads, showing a human with an odd mark on her head. She's not quite noticed she's gotten it to record yet, typing a bit to figure it out. Suddenly, she speaks up, a series of insect-esc clicks and chirps, which, for those who knew the language, showed her predicament. *

(In Irken) "Damn this URTH tech... Ah, there! I... think..."

*She turns to the camera, waiting a moment, as though it was meant to be on a timer, then, in clear English, she starts.*

"Hello Interconnected Webbing~! This is Tai~!"

*She continues to happily talk to the camera, explaining that she views this site as a good place to store her logs, as well as receive questions that may remind her of things she should record. After all, if her fears come true, she'll need some form of back-up.. right?*

*She adds her embarrassment over her poor memory, and admits to her boredom with the job she's currently working, before wrapping things up, asking for more 'asks'.*

*She then looks away for a moment, towards someone talking in the background about renting something, not realizing she didn't end the recording. She nods a bit and takes something off camera, which makes a beep as she scans it, as a robotic voice speaks of a 'retinal scan', which is thankfully accepted. For a moment, it looks like Tai is a little disappointed with this, but she passes the thing back and waves a bit.*

"Have a nice day~!"

*She then goes to resume her work on the computer, only to look back over and chuckle a bit*

"Ah, shit, forgot t-"

*The recording cuts off.*

Ask opener coming sometime today~! (If things line up right, heheh. Tryna speed up my art process so I can answer quickly, so it took longer than expected as I fidgeted with ways I could. Think I found a decent one, as I've only racked up 2.25 hours total in the actual ask opener comic itself, and it's 9 panels, and I've already got all 9 sketched and 3 of them fully outlined, which is pretty fast for my usual pace.)

Figured I'd give folks a heads up~!

Oh, and the comic should give me a better pfp to use, hehehe~

And! I designed someone else involved in the story, but I ain't revealing them quite yet.

Alright, so!

I finished the digital versions of those refs, and will soon make an opener for asks~!

First, her normal clothes~!

Then, PJs (which, as I said, she likes to wear more than her normal clothes, but learned she couldn't the hard way)

And finally, without her disguise, something you folks didn't get to see the full sketch of, and are only seeing now~! (She has emerald green eyes with pastel green shines, but the lavender lenses may have made that hard to reference, so just borrow the dark green and light green from her eyes in her disguise ;) )

Don't mind me, I'm just gonna go gush over how much I adore her and how thankful I am that a certain bean's art convinced me to finally make her ^U^

The mini comic is done~! I may add more, but for now, this is it.

Basically, I pictured a 'what if' scenario. Tai, being in a pretty well-made human disguise, got kidnapped by Zim, as one of the humans he usually tests on.

Of course, the computer takes notice and tries to mention the fact that this 'human' has a significant symbol, but we all know Zim yelled at his computer for daring to interrupt him, and then took credit for noticing the symbol.

Tai, having run off to URTH to avoid her responsibilities as a up and coming Tallest, just chose the lowest planet on the list of backwater planets, and is now realizing why it's avoided like the plague, and doesn't want Zim knowing she's not human, but that may take her revealing herself anyway..

Course, Zim recognizes the symbol, it's an elite symbol after all, and seeing a human with that symbol is a disgrace to his tallest, so of course he's not too happy about seeing it, but he wants to be sure before yelling. Shocking, doesn't he almost always prematurely explode over these things? I wonder what he would've been planning that'd keep him so pissed and yet held together..?

Oh, and asks are open for Tai, though keep in mind this was a 'what if', and isn't canon.
