I havn't used this blog in a long time, and yet I still got a special email from Tumblr themselves warning me of an explicit drawing posted years ago. Is that really what's important. If you'd like to interact with us, please use our https://www.deviantart.com/liger-inuzuka

Concept Art of Sevagoth’s (legacy Wraithe) alternative helmet update shown on the Warframe Devstream.
The original helmet design was more of a turban-inspired design. However, over time as Sevagoth was made the flagship Warframe for the Railjack mission, new themes of space voyages, we wanted to update the turban design into more of a pirate-like archetype with bandanas, and various jewelry made of loose wires and cables.

If you had a persona (whether a biomech, alien, robot, or furry), what would it look like? If you got the time, of course
Initializing response...
Most probably a humanoid robotic male figure of some description.

Follow-up from the art degree question; Have you encountered other professional artists that were not like "photo-realistic" or rendered as much as you do with your presentations? Like it looks more sketchy or conceptual instead of rendered (or even colored)--yet it still looks done? Sometimes I feel like it needs to be rendered before I post anything or even consider making a portfolio. Sorry for all the questions. I'm long overdue to start sharing my work, despite the block I'm going through.
Initializing response...
Yes indeed. Our work is not photo-realistic at all. However, depending on the purpose of the art in said art career, it may or may not have to be rendered.
While we work in concept art, the important part of concept art is to design and illustrate a concept, how it looks and functions and be understandable to the other members who would then go to use that concept art. How that is done is relative. In fact we often over-work our art pieces for presentation purposes to be shown and appreciated as art work in and of themselves. Behind the scenes we present more detailed or simplified spreadsheets to explain the details of a design.
However, perhaps an artist does not want to be a concept artist, and would prefer to be an illustrator. In this case the illustrator may need, or want, every piece to be rendered and finished as a piece of art.
Every job, and professional in that job, is different. There is no one correct way to create art.

Did you get a degree for your art? Or did you make your own freelance work for years? I have been considering on going back to school to get a degree in art, since I'm "decent," but have no degree. Though, the US education system will cost you your life and I'm already in debt because of it, so I've been trying to research colleges in other countries.
Initializing response...
In short, we have a degree in interactive media, a voluntary choice in search to expand our skills and add them to our already established foundation of visual art.
However this was a choice for personal expansion, and not nessecary for one’s artistic career. Our current employer never requested to see our degree.
Before entering the university for a degree, we had already a foundation of artistic skill, and about a 8~10 year history of freelance experience. Our artistic sense, and taste and inspiration were all acquired during this time, by ourselves as a self-taught artist.
We would warmly recommend to take the time to make important decisions based of off your own judgement and criteria..

Pardon me, I wanted to ask a question and clicked unfollow instead ;w; Sorry! Anyways, I logged on and my friends are like "Oh, they're reworking Zephyr!" and "If it's not approved by Liger, I don't want to hear it." But honestly, did you hear about it? Are you allowed to share your opinion on the matter?
Initializing response...
We have heard about it yes, but we have had no personal work in on Zephyr’s rework. The general consensus is that for the release of Zephyr’s deluxe bundle that would bring a lot of attention, Zephyr deserves a little updated gameplay and be made satisfying to use. We had similar input for Nezha’s rework on release of his deluxe skin as well.
That is all from us.

I've had many moments where I feel a warframe's design is too cluttered or busy with visual detail. I understand the warframes have a 'bio-mechanical' theme, but sometimes the amount of 'curls' and 'swirls' and 'jagged things' and 'bits' and 'baubles' can really clutter the overall profile. Or busy-up the surface of the design to the point of blurring the main elements that define the character. Have you ever had these moments yourself?
Initializing response...
Indeed, it can be true.
If the question is, have we created the aforementioned issue in our designs, then the answer is; we actively try to avoid exactly such a problem. However, such a problem is still subjective.
We try to pick defining features to focus on in a design, and have shapes, colors, or lines, etc, draw attention to the chosen features. Whilst simplifying parts of a design that are not the focus, to create contrast. we often advise to look at character design as a whole figure that is the design, not a figure that is just a canvas for patterns.

Is there anywhere we can find your old nsfw stuff from before the purge?
Initializing response...
Unfortunately not, we keep to a small amount of galleries for archival purposes. Most all of our art is present between the three archives, either in its originality or censored. This includes Tumblr, DeviantArt, and Artstation.

I might be a little late to this but congratulations on being employed by DE! It's your art that introduced me to Warframe and I've been playing it a lot for 2 years now. I saw concept art of a newer frame and immediately recognised the gorgeous art style, and not just for SFW reasons (before purge). Congrats again!
Initializing response...
We thank you very much for the support. It is never late to give someone your earnest positive wishes. We hope to create more designs for Warframe in the future as much as we can.
