The Maritime Gamers Family #1

This is a small post or blog series that will cover a little bit about The Maritime Gamers YouTube Channel and some of our favorite channels of our community members. This first post is really just going to be about the main channel itself.

The Maritime Gamers channel was founded on June 25, 2014 and has been a gaming channel founded by a group of close knit friends from the Nova Scotia province in Canada. Hence also where the Maritime name in Maritime Gamers comes from. The channel has covered a wide variety of games mainly stemming from the First Person shooter genre as well as covering EA Sports’ NHL video game series. The channel has really come to shine more recently with almost daily live streams of the Call of Duty series and an NHL series by Heighton86 covering NHL 17′s Be A Pro mode where he is currently making his way as a member of the Minnesota Wild. The channel does not only feature live streams though. Sponge-420 one of the main minds behind The Maritime Gamers channel has pumped out some very witty and creative montage series covering some of the channels time on Call of Duty and Heighton has also began to make some highlight videos. Not only that the channel continues to cover the Weekend Warfare game modes on Modern Warfare Remastered and some of the temporary game modes that come out on Infinite Warfare. The channel has also begun to feature previous content from Guisso (another member of the MG family) and his time on some of the older Call of Duty titles. The MG family though has continued to expand though and has brought in players from outside of Canada including the US and across the pond. The channel continues to grow and would very much like to hear from its viewers about what new content and even games they might like to see the channel cover.

The Past and The Future

Hey guys,

I know this blog and my YouTube Channel (Spunik Gaming) never had a huge following and I am sure at this point for those who did use to follow and see updates on this page are curious about the sudden shift. I really enjoyed covering retro/import games and doing a lot of Pokemon with you guys. Life calls and other things take the front seat. Lately I got a PS4 again and I started to get back into a series I haven’t played since the Ghost entry and that is Call of Duty. I am a pretty all around gamer, I have RPGs but, I have also in the past enjoyed joining up with friends and doing some Multiplayer on games like Call of Duty. I recently started live streaming with a group of amazing people on their channel. I still have not returned to doing anything with Spunik Gaming (The YouTube Channel). Though I may slowly start to record things again on my computer. It’s trying to relearn and refocus myself to get back into the editing process again which I haven’t done for like a year now. This blog will be posting a lot of Call of Duty stuff and hopefully my old followers and fans will not mind it but, to those who enjoyed the Pokemon and RPG posts I understand if you stop following. To those who stay along for the ride and see where this goes I am really thankful and happy. To those who might come here for the Call of Duty content I welcome you and thank you for joining along. This in the future is going to be a mix of a lot of things such as Call of Duty but, also hopefully a return to Pokemon and other RPGs. I am going to put the link below to YouTube channel of the place where we have been doing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered live streams. These guys also put out some other content such as NHL 17 and Battlefield 1. Even a funny video on Goat Simulator. Thank you again guys and happy gaming!
