I get that it isn't easy for Steven to forgive The Diamonds or Spinel for what they've done to him. He 100% deserves to be upset with them, BUT is it really necessary to ghost them?

I mean I get it, they tried to kill you. I'd be kinda scared too...but they are clearly trying. They are trying to fix themselves, and he just seems to ignore them. I mean he makes up with JASPER, but not Spinel?? I might be a little biased, but Spinel has come so far since the movie....and was obviously trying to get validation from Steven the entire duration of Homeworld Bound. Which might not be the best thing, since she needs to learn to rely on her own confidence and self love, but beside the point here. Steven was irritated towards her the entire episode, and I know most of it was because he was dealing with his own issues at the time BUT that was kind of sucky. I can't imagine how much Steven's attitude could've set her back, because it felt like she was trying to impress him the entire show and he blew her off.

I guess what I'm saying is it would've been nice to see some sort of closure between Steven and the Homeworld gems. Even if it was simply Steven saying it's going to take awhile for me to come around, or maybe even be honest of how he feels towards them and say I can't do this. I just think they deserved something.

Sorry for the rant. I don't even know if it made sense...

The Nightlights

Unpopular opinion, but I don't like the Nightlight Trio. Or rather, I guess I don't quite understand them. Like how do they exist?!

Grimmel said that the Lightfury was a female, right? Which suggests that she is the same species as Toothless, so I guess instead of Light/Nightfuries they are actually just a Fury? We could also use our current knowledge on dragon courtship as another indicator of a Fury species, as the suggestion of species-specific courtship displays and overall lack of hybridization within the series can be inferred to represent the idea that cross-breeding is almost non-existentant. Which means it should be almost impossible for Toothless and the Lightfury to mate at all unless they were the same species! Even if you argue that Toothless might be a different species, and just learned the Lightfuries display...the fact that the Lightfury continues to return to Toothless, and initiate the display would indicate that see recognizes him as a potential mate and the thus the same species. Even thought behaviorally Toothless initially sucked at being a Fury.

Anyway!! With that out of the way this idea of a Fury species suggests that the differences in coloration between Lightfury and Toothless is simply a form of sexual dichromatism. Especially when one looks at the two other Lightfuries in the Hidden World that are also a uniform white color. This means that it should be almost impossible for the Nightlight's coloration to be a thing (It would be akin to suggesting a female lion having a full mane). Genetically speaking they should be either a solid black or white, not a cross. Unless of course DreamWorks is suggesting that the trio are hermaphrodites, and thus a combination of both Male and female.

I guess what I'm saying is it's disappointing that the franchise, who historically have tried to be as historically and scientifically accurate as possible, overlooked this. Especially given the accuracy regarding courtship displays and animal behavior that was so evident in this last movie.

Also, just a bit salty that Klaus doesn't tell his other siblings that Ben is around until the last episode, but ya know. Props to my ghosty boy hanging around that long unnoticed by everyone except the one who legit tries his best to forget he can see you.

Is no one going to talk about the scene where Diego ties Klaus up and they share a cute brotherly moment talking about hanging with each other before the end of the world and Ben stands up AND LEAVES?

I can’t imagine what it feels like for him to be a ghost and not being able to physically touch and help Klaus in that moment and not being able to have that connection with Diego either and just seeing the both of them be close to the other in the living world while he just stares from the other side.

And also that NEVER happens cause Five fixed the timeline so Diego never ties Klaus up and they NEVER share that moment and it breaks me EITHER WAY.

Aaravos Thoughts

Anyone else pretty much convinced that Aaravos used magic to give himself a deeper voice? I mean he 100% could've created that worm so that his voice was deeper and more threatening.

Think about it. How could someone with such a darling little face have such a big mean voice. He's just trying to be evil, he wants to be big and intimidating. It's all a lie.

Things I feel Should be Discussed

I ship Rowan and Ben. Don't ask me why, but after this whole Celestial Ball thing it just fits. Rowan hates Ben because she doesn't trust her own feelings, they dance horribly together, and my ship has sailed. 🚣‍♀️

Is anyone gonna talk about the Niffler? I mean Tonks, Tulip and Penny just took a Niffler to the dance. Now I 100% love Barnaby, but if I knew we could talk animals...100% my pets would've come with me.
