This pair of shin tattoos were poked in 2015. People have sometimes asked me over the years, 'are handpokes as permanent as machine tattoos?' Well, let this be an answer: handpokes down scab at all, generally; heal time is much quicker than with machine work because the technique is so much less invasive. subsequently, IMHO, handpokes also age better due to the lack of of a propensity toward scarring dermal tissue!
