Drakes: a genus of dragon that unlike most other species eat larger more standard dragons yet they vary possibly more so than dragons in species. They hunt in large packs in-between species to basically stack their advantages over the dragons they hunt. the drakes all have their own appearance and capabilities.

Fire drakes: they live in caves on top volcanoes and rarely leaving except to hunt in packs, they have a special organ that creates a flammable liquid it mixes it into is spit as to make its mouth burn, it also releases it through valves in its tail.

Water drakes: their body is extremely slippery and wet due to the excessive amounts of water created within its body. It releases this water through pours along its back and throughout its tail, this water has magic properties which makes it manipulatable by the water drakes this allows the water to become sharp and thick despite its appearance and normal water counterpart.

Earth drakes: their sharp tail is used to cut deep into prey but when they cut into prey they end up bringing sand into the wound which blocks the wound from healing or scabbing. Their sharp rock hard teeth tear into flesh without compromising them. Their body is composed mostly of sand which allows it to heal by absorbing sand around it.

Snow drakes: they live under the snow feeling for pressure placed on the snow around it to locate prey. Their whitish body helps them blend in especially in snow storms in which they are practically impossible to locate. They have ice cold teeth they use to rip into prey while inflicting frostbite into the wound this works even on fire dragons which they do hunt.

Thunder drakes: their cloudy body allows them to avoid most injuries including near fatal attacks. They have the ability to course static electricity directly into its teeth, what people can se is only the active flowing electricity. the amounts of static electricity is enough to permanently parallize a fully grown man, they use this to induce numbness to their prey.

A/N: this took me forever the earth dragon took three scraps and full redesigns before I found something I was finally even slightly happy with sorry for the wait but I hope you enjoy my art 😊

Lind wyrm & fae dragons: neither are true dragons infact they are the farthest thing from each other, the completely land locked Lind wyrm and the entirely sky locked fae dragons and yet they are most often seen together

Volcanic dragons: temperamental and Violent often ravaging nearby kingdoms for no reason. Also highly aggressive towards any mortal being

Dream dragons: often not seen at day at all at night they feast on dreams, and rip at nightmares it will always benefit you to befriend one because though not a true dragon such as a snow dragon or rock dragon these are just as strong

Earth dragons: not to be confused with rock dragons, these utterly massive monsters are far larger than any other kind of dragon they wander the ocean having its own unique ecosystem completely different from earth dragon to earth dragon. They live one of the longest lives of all dragons

Rock dragons: living in large caverns deep under the earth they might be the rarest dragon out there. But that doesn't mean there's few of them there are actually just a lot of them too deep to go

Gold dragons: these large beasts are smaller than your average dragon but in no way small. They burrow deep under the land eating away at its natural resources only to eventually release them back out into nature now lacking a couple of nutrients

Snow dragon: residing deep in the freezing mountains these behemoths lie just below the surface of the snow, waiting for its prey

They have the pure commitment to wear heavy giant hot outfits all day in summer heat and not be sad once

They have hacked the government far to many times for me to not be scared their going to get my IP address and bank details alongside my mother's maiden name my first pets name and where I grew up
