I was thinking about the drawings of Yuma with long hair, so I made an edit of that.

Also thinking about a tired appearance, because he as Number One, was a workaholic, and probably went back to being one post game.

I think his routine wasn't the best, I don't think WDO is healthy work, you know...Why don't we know anything about his real name and past? Is it really that bad? Maybe a possible second game will work with this detail?

Putting aside the whole dismissing emotions thing, I think he was still a nice person to talk to, He would have a calm, quiet voice and would be friendly to the people, with his noble desire to make everyone happy... (But he deserves happiness too). I like how The fans work with him mixing personalities where he can be calm, logical and analytical, and he can be emotional, As a reminder that emotions don't need to be dismissed entirely, and that they are valid. I also read a very cool fanfics like You and I, in Solitude by @snivyartjpeg and A Heartwarming Reunion by @pixelatedraindrops, I really liked how the authors worked on Yuma's personality, I also play as him in a Discord RP, but it's not better than the fanfic authors.

Do you think he wore a mask or/and a hood over his head to hide more from society? I think so. I hope we see him again, it would be cool to have him as a mentor, he seems like he would be a good fit for that.

I tried to make him with a hood, but I don't think it turned out well, so forget it.

since yuma just innately understands how to pilot a boat in chapter 3 even with amnesia i believe that number one knows how to drive practically every vehicle. he can hotwire a car in seconds and drive that bad boy like it's his business. he knows a speedboat like the back of his hand. submarine? sure. motorcycle? easy. k2 black panther battle tank? absolutely.

the only thing he cant pilot is an airplane. i dont have a deep reason for this other than i think it'd be really funny if he had massive airplane anxiety

Anyway, I wanted to mess around with a brush in clip studio and drew Pregame-Yuma with those question mark eye things on yumas Mystery Phantom in Makotos labrynth... I think it'd be sick if those were something he wore

...also this post-game (I like to think he'd grow out his hair again hehe)

and also I am convinced he remembers Shinigami and somtimes despite her not being there imagines what she may say in situations because he misses her input (even if he didn't remember her, I think the feeling that it's Too Quite Now while he's investigating would very persistently bug him, that's what I think)

Number One Yuma hcs;

He doesn't go by his actual name, just "Number One". That identity is the most important, who cares who he was before?

He's honestly a paranoid little fella. Wishes he could get close to people but worries constantly he's about to be betrayed- after all, people are really confusing. And when you're solving mysteries (which tend to be gruesome and upsetting), you get a little uneasy about people.

I think he's an orphan. He states he dislikes war, which. Obviously. But putting that as your first and only dislike? There's something there. I think there was a war and his family got caught up in it- that's why he's so focused on people's happiness.

He had longer hair in the past! About to his chin, he'd put it up in a small ponytail.

Like Makoto, he's pretty restless when sitting, and has a very particular way of doing things.

He's trained to be able to shoot guns. I mean, he literally says the smell of gunpowder and the weight of a gun felt familiar....
