This is what happens when i get bored with paint. I started with the basic shape of a #heart and worked around that to make something interesting, this time it happened to be a #skull. I used #BenNye #creme #paints since i haven't used them in so long. I had forgotten how easy they are to #blend soi might focus on some #abstractart and strange #color choices. Like always i love hearing #feedback and am always open to #ideas and #suggestions.

ORA! This is my first attempt at Star Platinum from JoJo's Bizzare Adventure part 3. Thanks to a certain youtube channel *cough*#superbestfriendsplay *cough* i have become obsessed with this show. Thanks to #crunchyroll i am all caught up with the anime and eagerly waiting for more. This look was painted using #BenNye #watercolor #paints like always all #feedback is welcome and loved. Quote the raven, "Nevermore." Well this is my pic for the #DBdupemag contest. The theme was dark beauty, and that just screamed Edgar Allan Poe to me. My favorite #poem by #poe has been and always will be #theRaven because of its dark and almost oppressive feeling and yet its build and #rythm makes it elegant like a song. Half Spiderman, half Man-spider. I was 100% inspired to do this by watching @madeyewlook 's Spiderman video (which was amazing! Seriously if you arent following her you are insane.) did the entire look with #BenNye #watercolor paints. Took me like 4 hours to get it the way i wanted it but i am proud of how it came out. The animated #spiderman was my favorite tv show growing up in the #90s and the episodes in which he was mutating into the #manspider was amazing! Let me know if guys have any suggestions on how to improve this look. I am always happy for the #feedback so let me know.

An old lion face paint i did, i think, last year, but one of the few i am actually proud of. It was the one that gave me the confidence to keep trying and better at this insanity, and that i wished was my job. No matter how far i end up going with this i will always be able to look back at this photo and feel #pride (i hope people get the pun about this being a lion face and pride... All about face and body paint (for cosplay)

I am blown away by the creativity within the cosplay scene and the way that people just make things work is a testament to the can-do attitude that so many people in this community have. 

One thing that I’ve found again and again, however, is that no one really seems to know what to do with body paint. I’ve spent the past few summers working as a face painter, I’ve been to several face and body art conventions, and I helped a friend with a cosplay with body paint, so I want to impart the knowledge that I’ve gained onto all you cosplayers.
