Fundraiser For Blue

Hello, all.

Me and my friend started a fundraiser for Blue Mayfield, the founder of the podcast Camp Here and There. On January 21st, while he was moving his apartment, his van was broken into and he was robbed of almost $20,000 worth of items. This leaves him with no clothing and without the laptop used to create the podcast, almost 3 years of work and a steady income lost.

He convinced me I could trust him, but then refused to respect my explicitly stated boundaries, would not accept that I wasn’t ready for a more serious or in-person relationship, and would not let go. While some may find my behaviour unforward, I truly did try to act compassionately despite being confused by his behaviour, as I hope is apparent from the private explanation I sent him long ago, which he has also published.

As I often express, I have my faults and a rough past, but I hope people can see that I’m as generally decent and caring as any other average guy, and am quite simply not the person this individual os trying so hard to paint me as. I’m sorry to my partner, friends, family, and fans who were made to see such private imagery or mistreated as a result of this. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with kindness. I am safe, sober, and getting lots of support. I’m not going to be participating in this or any other social media conflicts further, regardless of how the narrative warps from here. Thank you for the support, kindness, and understanding.
