In which I accidentally made a ship between Mr. Frohicky and my oc and I wanna share the snippet

From beyond Lloyd’s rambling chatter, the creaking of the monastery touches Mr. Frohicky’s ears. He can’t explain the feeling that comes over him—or the pull that takes his gaze to the slow swing of the mahogany doors. All he knows is that one moment, he’s taking a tour of the grand, peaceful house of the ninja, the next, he’s falling beneath the shadow of a creature the likes he’s never seen before.

She strides at a slow, confident pace—a wall of muscle over twice his height and twenty times his strength, four arms at her sides tipped with razor sharp claws. A fountain of wild white curls pours out from the top of her head to her hips. Waves of golden, glimmering freckles scatter across her body like the burning red skies of the lava lands near his old home.

To say she seems intimidating would be an understatement—and only the beginning of Frohicky’s thoughts about her.

“Oh, there she is!” Lloyd suddenly pipes up. “Mr. Frohicky, this is just who I wanted to introduce you to. Meet Lyra.” Lloyd stands on the tips of his toes—as if doing so would help him stand next to her properly—and takes her by one massive clawed hand. “Lyra, this is Mr. Frohicky. Arin and Sora brought him on to help out around the monastery.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Lyra’s deep voice carries like the low notes of a flute over the wind. Frohicky can’t be certain he’s ever heard anything quite like it.

“A… a pleasure to meet you too,” he says, his little heart rising into his throat. “Goodness, you’re quite…”

Lyra lets out a soft chuckle. “Yes, I hear that quite a lot. Big and—“

“Beautiful,” Frohicky breathes out.

Lyra’s pointed ears flick downward—the adorning jewelry jingling like little chimes. All four of her arms go behind her back as she shuffles in place. Her gaze flits to the ground then back to Mr. Frohicky.

“My,” she whispers, tucking a stray curl behind her neck. “It’s been awhile since I’ve heard someone call me that.”

For some reason I think Lloyd should have a drumming hobby.
