I don't see many people, if anybody, talking about the angst potential of Jay only getting parts of his memory back, specifically the painful moments of being a ninja.

Getting his crush/gf stolen by his best friend, the entirely of Skybound, losing Nya to the sea, whatever the frick was happening to him when they were stranded during Hunted. Even just little moments like Kai teasing him and calling him expendable or Cole constantly making jokes about how he talks too much, just enough negative thoughts and memories to make him think the other ninja don't care about him or even hate him.

So it’s that one part where they see “visions” of ppl or something that’s not actually real but only Nya got to realize it’s not real or smth BUT I decided why not make a short comic thing abt Kai’s cuz he doesn’t say anything abt it and we didn’t see it sooo. And since i ship Lava why not make it Lava?? It was supposed to be all in one post but i didn’t get to start the other parts so its js one now.

Wait, if in your version Jay is going with the others. How did Cole and Zane react seeing him again?

They both very happy to see Jay again, but concerned he has lost his memory and doesn't recognise them and is scared of using his powers. They all have a talk in their way to Gandalaria's storage house in the Wyldness, where Jay can't help but feel some de ja vu being around the ninja. When the whole Blood Moon situation has died down and everyone is back togather, they all help Jay find hinself again.

Jay's just glad he never has to do paperwork again and can play video games any time he wishes
