A few days had passed since Itachi slipped out of the village in order to find his younger brother Sasuke, who had left the village to track down the snake Sanin Orochimaru for power and expected what trail his younger brother was traveling on, but just as the older Uchiha was closening in on where Sasuke's location was, he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks and turned his attention to his pursuers who he knew had been trailing him for quite some time and finally decided to reveal themselves. As Itachi laid his eyes on his perusers his eyes narrowed at the sight of two anbu black ops and were about to ask them if the councilors had sent them to help in his search for his younger brother, but instead of hearing a reply from them, his ears picked up on a familiar voice asking if he had finally decided to stop his search for his younger brother and return to the village now that he acknowledged their presence or was the councilor elder going to have to order him back to the hidden leaf.

"Danzo…" Itachi cursed under his breath knowing fully aware that the elder had come to delay him from reaching his younger brother and Orochimaru's location.

Itachi slowly took his attention off the sheet of paper in front of him when he heard Sasuke ask him if he was done signing the paperwork that was placed on his desk earlier this morning from the councilors. Turning toward the younger Uchiha, he gives Sasuke a sad expression before telling him that it was going to take him some more time before he would get a chance to help him train." I'm...sorry Sasuke but it's going to be a while before I am going to be able to help you with your training." he apologized then went back to signing the documents in front of him.

It was late night as Itachi walked up the path that leads to the family home, once the Uchiha slid the door open quietly, he removed his shoes off his feet then stepped farther inside the house not bothering to turn any lights on because he didn't want to wake his Mother and Brother who he assumed went to bed a few hours ago. Stepping into the darkness of the family home with only the moon shining through the windows, Itachi made his way to the staircase then quietly walked up them trying his best to be as light on his feet as he could, and once he was in his bedroom, the Uchiha turned the lamp on closest to his bed then began to change out of his Anbu uniform and once he was changed, Itachi crawled into bed once he placed his clothing in the dirty hamper beside his desk.

But after an hour had passed since Itachi had gone to sleep, his eyes flickered open slowly when he heard the sound of the door to his room creak open, not long after he felt Sasuke crawl onto the bed and curled up beside him." Hey..." the older Uchiha said in a sleepish tone of voice to show the younger Uchiha that he was still somewhat awake if he wanted to tell him how he and his mother was doing since he's been away from the village for over three weeks on a mission in the sand village.
