How to Thread Your Sewing Machine
Every machine is different when it comes to threading. But there, you can find some general steps that every sewing machine relates. Stick to the article to see some information about How to Thread Your Sewing Machine.Â
Coiling the bobbin
Check the diagram before you put your thread spool. Some machines have a small chart that shows where your thread spools are roaming. On your sewing machine, the thread should be placed in a vertical spool pin.
Coil the thread to the bobbin winding tension disc. Insert the end of the thread into the hole in your bobbin. And then put your bobbin on the bobbin pin on the top of the machine.
Start coiling the bobbin and this will ensure the thread is wrapped in the bobbin correctly. Fill the bobbin with thread on the edge of the spool. Remove the bobbin and now start your machine with full rhythm.
Threading in the spool pin and needleÂ
On the right side of the machine, you will find the spool pin. Place your thread on the larger hook. Bring the thread’s end and keep this on the thread guide, the silver piece on the top.

Pull this thread down and wind the thread around the lever. This take-up lever is a piece of metal. There you find a hole and put the thread into it. Pull the thread in the needle gap and turn it in the small metal pressure foot.
And with this your threading in the upper part is complete.
Threading the lower part of the machine
First, remove the cover of the bobbin case of the lower compartment. Ensure that after your bobbin is wound, the thread comes with the counterclockwise.Â
Unwind a few threads to come off the bobbin, some inches of the thread perhaps. When you are done with unwinding you have to keep the bobbin right back where it was exactly how it was.
When you cover the bobbin with the plate, make sure you expose the removed thread. Bring out the end of the thread and make sure it is still exposed.
These described steps should be enough for anyone to thread the sewing machine even if the person is a beginner. Once a person has mastered the simple threading system then it’s a work of snap.
It seems like a simple task as it only requires a cotton thread to pass through the needle. But you won’t like to have glasses on your eyes all the time. All the steps are really all you need to know about.
