Announcement: Moving Blogs and Dropping Threads

((Hey, sorry I keep dropping off the face of the Earth. There’s been a lot going on with the mun lately and it’s leaving me really drained. But I’ve also been working on creating a new blog for Death Parade with new muses and head canons. So that’s really been taking up a lot of my time (when I’m actually motivated to do stuff haha)

So with the new blog almost completed (I still need to finish a couple of the profiles and other pages, I would like to officially announce my movement away from this blog and to the new one, @nascentes–morimur. After this post is published I will be publishing a starter call and promo on the new blog and archiving this one.

But with moving blogs, I would also like to announce that I will be dropping all my current threads, unless I am specifically messaged asking to continue. The reason for this is that I have changed details about Decim, my head canons of the tower, and I also have new muses that I would like to give a chance if possible. But any starters that were written for me that I never really started on this blog will be replied to on the new blog very soon.

I would like to clarify that just because I am dropping threads, it does not mean that our muses’ relationship will be reset. It’s just that I would like to start with fresh threads that go with my new head canons and interpretations.

TL;DR:

- Moving to new blog ( @nascentes–morimur ) and archiving this one.

- Dropping threads to allow myself to breath fresh life into my older muse and my new ones, but I will keep old threads by message request.

- Any starters I have had written for me that I have yet to respond to will be replied to on the new blog

One who can't feel emotions will still react with emotions, they just don't actually feel them like a normal person would. They can get angry or sad while feeling empty or hollow inside.

((I see... I’m pretty sure I could follow that, anon. Like the person reacts like they’re angry, but meanwhile they don’t essentially feel like a normal person would. They could be acting angry, but they personally feel empty.I don’t believe that’s the case with the arbiters though, when I think about it. Mostly because they’ll say things like “You’re an actual pain”, “I’m disappointed in him”, and “Even seeing your face pisses me off!” I may be wrong, but I think what your describing doesn’t really match up with how the arbiters are reacting. It seems like they’re indicating that they actually do feel these things. Though of course I could be wrong, but it’s very good insight and something I’ll keep in mind. Aren't they dolls? I'd imagine that they would be empty emotionally, only feeling the barest glimmer of emotion while they react to things.

((Yup, their mannequins, anon. And I think that’s what it’s mean’t to be, but all of them have shown emotions to some extent I think and seem pretty aware of it. (I remember Ginti saying that just seeing Decim’s face pisses him off) Decim’s only different since his are very prominent. That’s why I’m hitting a brick wall of writers block >-<

Do you possibly think they could mean “human emotions” instead of emotions in general? Like maybe they specifically mean very human things like empathy, compassion, and sorrow? Because those emotions seem to be exclusive to Decim. While the others show more passive emotions that many creatures possess, examples being aggression, anger, annoyance, and contempt.))

Just a note on character resistance...

Just because my muse resists something, doesn’t mean I don’t want you to do it. I’ll happily let my muse be abused in many ways. But that doesn’t mean I’m just gonna have them roll over, especially if they’re fairly powerful. But don’t take their resistance as a sign that I want you or your muse to stop.

I’m making this because I sometimes feel like people think when my muse resists, it’s a sign for them go back off. It’s not. If I am not comfortable with something, I’ll tell you OOC. If I said go for it, I mean just that.

On the flip side, if my muse is ever being too difficult, please, let me know, and I’ll do my best to correct that.

(( Mun has been considering adding on other muses to this blog, specifically the rest of the arbiters from Death Parade. I have quiet a few headcanons for them, and I have an idea of how I would want to portray them. I was just wondering what other people thought?
