The first Senshi fan service shook my entire being, I had to make sure my eyes were working

You'd think the weird one would be Senshi, but even he has some lines; like not fantasizing about eating a set of metal armor bc armor cant be eaten.

i really appreciate ryoko kui’s subversion of tired anime tropes, mostly a lot of sexual/sexualized ones

the main guy is a freak but not a pervert. just genuinely inflicted with the tism cranked to 100

none of the women are gratuitously sexualized (including the underage ones!!!) and all the panty shots are relegated to senshi, as they should be

the catgirl in the group isn’t some cute ditzy fan service character, but actually acts like a cat in addition to having her own arc and development

any level-headed male in the series respects and listens to the female characters and treats them as people and equals

also despite laios being a kinda blonde white everyman character, he’s easily the weirdest one in the group (and i love him)

Y'know what also gets me, she kept it instead of throwing and breaking it (but ended up keeping) like she did with her Bozart statue when she got engaged with Blaine.

I genuinely enjoy how Maria was immensely furious and betrayed about Blaine, but in the end kept his stuff. More angry at herself when she was grieving for Gwen.

Also damn, the fact Blaine fell from Maria's tower (room) of all places is amazing, protecting his own brother. And afterwards Maria looks down from above.

Im so happy about Maria's development, her and Blaine's relationship was something I overlooked at one point in the series but as we neared the ending it really climbed (both as a ship, dynamic and individual characters) my list of favs.

I didn't notice it at first.

I'd like to point out that during Frederick VS Leland, they ended up at Maria's room, and in the process, destroyed her Blaine merches.

It really does show on how everything between Maria and Blaine has been truly destroyed. Maria can choose what to fix when she cleans up her room, but she can also throw away all remaining memories of Blaine.

... Now that y'know Blaine has forfeited the crown and title of Prince (in a silent way), does that mean Blaine is an Ex-Blaine?

Okay imagine one day for some reason The Princels decide to write a book and sell it. But, they use their own vocabularies such as "Ex-Blaine" or "Blaine" or any other words revolving Blaine. And then they sell it. Frederick came across it, bought it, and decided to read it. Only to find his brother's name being used as 'slangs' or whatever it's called (in an insulting way). Imagine how bewildered he would be.

If there's one part I didn't like about the ending it's that it feels a bit rushed or maybe that's just me being biased after all these years of cpc

anyway let us riot if we dont atleast get Prez, Whitney, Blaine, I want to atleast get a foot note on what happened to Blaine?

There's so many things but there's only one ep left, what to doooooo???

If the final episode doesn't meantion Frederick telling people about what Blaine said and getting help from the CPC and/or Whitney I am going to RIOT

Inktober Day 11: Wander

I saw a post about cats following Whitney and I thought it was so cute. I can't find the post currently but when I do I'll credit them.

It's absolutely the perfect resolution to Blaine's arc, even tho he had the chance to make it better to rule with his three brothers in a healthy way. It'd be such an easy way to fall back on those habits and coping mechanisms as shown during the entire series where Blaine basically fluctuated from being a good brother to deranged brother to good brother and in multiple aspects of his character (basically why some fans had such a hard time reading the fact he was a "good guy we're supposed to root for" bc he's constantly fluctuationing) he's basically Whitney if we actually get to see indepth Whitney's journey and crisis. It'd be a lot harder to forgive him for some people and to some maybe it'll enhance him.

But nope, seeing him finally realizing that falling from such great heights and falling back again will only perpetuate his current state. It's sweet the contrast between Whitney clinging on to a guard's coat (either a save me or I'll take you down with or possibly an instinctual thing) and ended up keeping it and Blaine who didn't have his father's coat but left his own coat behind interesting, plaid red. His mother's color and the plaid of his father. Whitney likely keeps it as a reminder and a safety thing and Blaine leaving it all behind. Lets face it its pretty obvious Whitney came from the Monochrome Kingdom, for Blaine, you cant really tell without his coat. All this to say, I got side tracked.

While I do think it's perfect for Blaine and his parallels with Whitney, did I scream "where are you going??? Atleast say goodbyeeeee" when he just up and left.

Blaine saying he’s “Ok down here” at the end of 170 means SO much because he’s always wanted to be at the top, that was his whole obsession. He always wanted to be at the very top and was scared of falling to the bottom the most but now, him saying he’s “ok down here” has so much meaning

As a Whitney x Prez Shipper and an aroace who is not repulsed by romance and somehow in love with romance, I dont expect anything to happen in canon but the fantasy I want.

The we live together, we support each other, we love each other, we're likely gonna grow old together, no sir we're not dating nor married, we're just us. A relationship that isn't defined by labels or anything and only they could understand. A platonic relationship that isn't romantic or sexual but it's just them basking in each other's presence and happiness.

I'm likely still gonna fuel the CalWhit Tag Train (again one day) bc my wips are so ambiguously coded that I'm unsure if it's romantic or not. Also know that my original works that I sometimes dabble with are also like this

Ngl as a romance repulsed aroace myself i hope people stop expecting Calpernia and Whitney to be together. Prez already had a long arc to be pressured into dating others which she already responded into, she didn't want any of that at all.

Whitney obviously has feelings for her but respects her decision. He never tries to pursue her and only tries to spend more time with her which are different things.

i'm just very defensive of Prez because her arc of being pressured into romance (Especially when she got that love triangle going on) hits close to home.

Tbf I wanna live as unabashedly unashamed and comfortable when I'm a senior.

Still fashionable and gushing over the most novel and cute things.

Aziraphale and Crowley isn't just gender envy, it's the life style envy, the entire envy tree is them.

Good Omens is legitimately the first piece of media that’s made me realise that I can actually be a 50+ year old man one day. Like I’ve never really been able to see a future for myself as a trans guy. It felt like this would just be temporary until life forced me to transition back into a woman, or perhaps I didn’t even want to be an old man because I’ve never felt gender envy towards anyone much older than me before, which made me start to question myself. But Good Omens changed that. I’m looking at Aziraphale and Crowley and I want that. I want to be those men, I want to be a 50+ year old man living his life as unashamedly as Crowley does and as comfortably as Aziraphale does. I want to be the 50+ year old goth boyfriend with a cool ass car and Queen records, and the 50+ year old flamboyant southern pansy with a bookshop and a permanent joie de vivre for all of life’s delights. I can finally see myself in 30 years time, which I’ve never allowed myself to do before.

Thank you Good Omens for the representation of older, queer men that I think we all needed tbh. I know I sure did.

My guy needs friends stat!

Now that I realize it, he doesn't have friends. He doesn't realize he's friendless bc he's constantly surrounded by people who adore him. He has a rival and a fiancee that was getting there but now will likely never be sailing to canon with

Y'know who does have buds, my guy Lance!

This is funnier now that when you think about it, in the current part of the story. It's Blaine who didn't have friends all along.
