I’m going to California for the next two weeks, and since I haven’t posted in a while I’m turning this into a blog blog. Stay tuned for where Flat StLancey goes!

Klance — Already done: 2, 12, 14

1: What made you first ship them?

No clue. I was an allurance shipper through and through back during ye olde times (2018), but when I got back into VLD, klance latched on like a leech. Not like I’m really complaining though. :)

3: Who cooks and who cleans?

They both do! Keith makes quick meals or repurposes leftovers, while Lance does the whole sit down and eat meals. They also split up house chores evenly.

4: Where/How do they live? (Together/Separate)

Separate until a year after the season 8 5-year skip. With Keith helping lead the BoM, he never needed a place to stay. But when Lance offered… yeah. He moved in to his little beach house pretty quickly. It turned out to be the oasis away from work he needed.

5: Biggest in-universe supporter of the ship?

Krolia. She had seen how happy Lance made her son during the visions in the quantum abyss. It was always just a matter of time.

6: Who confessed first?

Lance. They have a back and forth going, funnily enough. Keith fell first, Lance confessed first, Keith kissed first, Lance— you get the idea.

7: Who do each of them tell first about the relationship?

Keith tells his mom and Shiro at the same time. He wanted the support from both of them and trusts them. Lance actually told his older sister, Veronica, first. It was an accident, really, but she kept asking about his ‘long haired friend’ (Keith) so he responded with ‘Lay off my boyfriend.’

8: Who makes the bigger romantic gestures?

Probably Lance, but Keith has his moments. Lance does lots of little things, like random gifts and treats. Keith’s idea of a romantic gesture is tagging along with whatever Lance wants to do, even if that means getting stuck dancing with him at a swing dance party.

9: PDA, yes or no?

Yes, but not too much. The eventual confession came so much later than the mutual feelings that showing their affection to each other just. Isn’t embarrassing to them anymore.

10: Who gets more jealous?

Keith. They’ve long since grown out of being jealous of each other, but Keith still feels that bit of ache when surrounded by Lance’s family. He also very much does NOT appreciate other people flirting with his boyfriend, no matter how subtle.

11: Who is more possessive?

Keith again. That is HIS Lance, okay? Keith was really freaked out the first time he honest to God growled at someone, but his mom reassured him that was just her side showing up.

13: Will they have kids one day?

Biological? Not possible even with the crazy technologies. Adopted?..

Lance actually didn’t want to be a dad. He’d grown up surrounded, so as he got older the more he wanted quiet. He couldn’t deny the little ache in his heart though every time he saw Keith with his niece and nephew. Maybe one kid couldn’t hurt.

If you asked Keith 5 years ago if he’d ever be a dad, he’d give you a hard no. He had been scared of hurting them since his foster life had been so damaging. After each BoM rescue, however, he quickly realized he loved kids, and they loved him back.

15: What’s something they love to do together?

The rest of the team thinks they’re insane, but sparring. It’s the rush of adrenaline, the exercise, and the trust between them. Nothing says romance like your boyfriend clearing your 6, or pinning you to the sparring mat.

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, so this is more of a life update than anything. I recently joined a DnD campaign with a few friends and, not gonna lie, I stole Pike for it.

Zafphierro | Allias: Blue

Zafphierro, or Blue as he now tends to introduce himself, was born to draw attention. His family had been in the merge zone ever since he could remember, living a fairly safe life from spies and the ever nearing civil war. That all changed when his mother got accused of using magic. As if being a halfling (not that kind) wasn’t hard enough, he and his twin sister were forced to run.

Unfortunately, just a few years ago, he and his sister got split up at a crossroads. Now alone, Zafphierro took on the moniker Blue, and spends his days entertaining the people in the streets with his musical stories and athletic dramaticisms. At least, that’s what the government thinks.

Every night, Blue will raid the nearby wealthy homes and deliver it to everyone on the street he can find. It’s scary work, but who would ever suspect the Jestering cat-boy as the neighborhood hero?

Given your explanation I would say our Seelie team would be Lance (summer), Pidge (spring), Allura (spring), and Coran (summer).

Our Unserlie team would be Keith (autumn), Shiro (winter), and Hunk (autumn)

It’s less of how I see the characters morally, but of how others may view them from first appearance and how their personalities match certain seasons.

Also sorta their lion colours… green is very much a spring colour, blue any (but leaning heavily towards water), yellow and red autumn colours, and black being the “coldest” of the colours.

I guess I could explain more as to what I mean by it all, but I’d probably do that with a whole au explanation as well as art instead of continuing this long reblog chain.

Is a Fae AU just called a FaeU? It’s been bothering me, and I need your opinion. Also which courts and kinda do you think the paladins, Coran, and Allura would be in? Lance would definitely fall into the Seelie court, and Keith I can see being an Unseelie. While Unseelie are typically seen as the dangerous ones, and the main Unseelie is made of winter, it’s not a cut and dry Good vs Evil dynamic. Mermaids are actually part of the Fae Courts too!

As cute as FaeU is, it would be a Fae au (alternate universe).

I’m not really qualified to answer your other questions either, as I know barely anything about the fae other than the safety rules (don’t accept food, don’t share your name, pay attention to wording, etc.).

I also had no idea mermaids were part of the fae courts! (What’s a fae court 😭)
