for my @tes-gala drawings, i wanted to go in kind of a "modern AU" direction and draw my Elder Scrolls characters interpreting the theme in modern couture fashion. i also wanted to make the drawings look like the celebrity red carpet photos from real life events!

this is Aeruviel, my Bosmer character from ESO, dressed as Dibella ❤️🌸

now back to working on the rest of my drawings for this event, life has really been conspiring against me having uninterrupted art time recently 😅

Tes Gala - Amalor Adallaireon

Rapid fire lore because I accidentally posted early:

Amalor was born in 3E 233 in Mathiisen, Auridon. After his mother - Firwari - died when he was very young, his father - Ocathrel, who was also suffering trauma due to witnessing the destruction caused by the Numidium during the Tiber Wars - withdrew from society, effectively leaving Amalor to be raised by the household staff. His father's reclusivness caused clan Adallaireon's status to suffer.

Amalor's life goal would eventually be to see to it that clan Adallaireon be restored to what he deemed it's rightfully place. He did this by allying himself with Mephala and the then burgening Thalmor movement. He also sought to integrate himself into mainland Summerset politics and society, something that was already seen as difficult for him due to the fact that he was from an Auridon clan (they were seen as lower status clans and provincial), he did this by entering into an arranged marriage to Eranwe of the prestigious Aunecil clan that was based in Cloudrest.

After 4E 22, when the Thalmor successfully seized control of Summerset, Amalor would become a high ranking member on the Thalmor council, and the Adallaireon clan would now control the city of Skywatch (it was taken from the Auralus clan, who Amalor’s father was a member of, meaning Amalor was able to create a legitimate claim on the city) and the entire Calambar region if Auridon.

Amalor's hierarchy of importance:

- Himself and Eranwe (their marriage started out as arranged, but they would see kindred spirits on the other and would eventually develop actual feelings for each other. They are a terrifying power couple.)

- the Adallaireon clan and his decendants. Amalor and Eranwe have three children (Tamyon, Lothariel and Nalaril) and two grandchildren (Lothariel’s daughter, Valyare, and Nalaril's daughter Quenanya).

- the Thalmor and the Aldmeri Dominion. Amalor is loyal to the Dominion and it's goals, but in so far as it ensures the continued existence and prosperity of the Adallaireon clan.

- Mephala. Without Mephala, much of what Amalor has achieved would not have been possible. Among his fellow council members, Amalor has gained a reputation of being a master of secrets. Some call him "The Spider" but never to his face.

My TES Gala entry featuring my vestige Irene and her daughter Sereia (TLDB) in outfits inspired by Dibella and Akatosh respectively. For Irenes outift I used the “Dibella's exaltation style” but with a longer skirt just to make it cuter and for Sereia I slapped on as much gold and dragon motifs as I could lol but overall I had a lot of fun with this and I’m looking forward to seeing everyone else’s 😩 <3

Happy gala everyone, a horrid bitch has arrived!

Magreniah would not normally slice her way out of Apocrypha because it would draw too much attention, but she does love melodrama and would cheerfully and disdainfully tell anyone who asked that it had merely been a touch of illusory magic.

She wormed her way into Apocrypha as a child like a stray cat, and was allowed to stay on basis of her rigorous self study. The crown is a nod to her dear friend, a daedric demiprince of vague relation to Clavicus Vile; it's got a feather decoration because he calls her "little dove".

normally I'm happy just to sling spoilers under cuts and shit but solstice pt1 has legitimately stunned me in a way that, yeah no, folks need to go in completely blind to this and experience it themselves.

Based on the results of my TES Summer Art Challenge poll, we're doing another pin-up challenge!! Thanks to everyone's feedback, I'm curious about when we should do it. While I originally said July, I'm open to being flexible! Because this would be a month long prompt challenge (think MerMay or Inktober prompt lists), we're ONLY operating with months here!
