[ Sketch of the day ] A tender and peaceful moment between Van and Hitomi. (in their early 20) I had a clear idea in my head (I wanted Van to lightly lay down his face on Hitomi’s cheek), so I set up the pose very quickly. But I took my time to draw details like hairs, hands and anatomic basis the best I can. (I adore drawing Van’s hairs as much as I struggle to do them sometimes !) I quickly added some lights.

I’m finally posting this piece I did for @yearlyesca and @radical-rad1986 !!! Gosh I’m so late 😱😭 anyway ! I was paired with Rad for the yearly Esca challenge ^^ she wrote this very good story about Dilandau/Celena !

So I did this fanart of Celena, still haunted by Dilandau’s nightmares 8´D

'𝓛𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓮𝓻𝓼 𝓽𝓸 𝓪𝓷𝓸𝓽𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝔀𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭' - Prologue pages 1-5

One of the things I’ve been wanting to do for a while was to resume my doujinshi tradition. I’ve been creating Escaflowne fancomic (‘doujinshis’) since 2011, and I like to do it at least once per year. You can check my collection at DA or at my website.

This year my idea was at first to redraw or re-tell the story in Second Chance, my longest doujinshi and quite a titanic work and story, as it has a lot of topics and unexplored stories. It’s also a very amateur work, with a lot of mistakes and plot holes. Well, I’m no comic professional and this is just my hobby, afterwards!

Anyway, I’ve had the chance to think deeply about it and came up with a different story. But, oh gosh, It’s been such a long time since I made black and white comics nor art (2016) that I’ve been quite insecure about posting it. Besides, I did it under the promise (to the wonderful artist Eve Brengard) of trying out Clip Studio Pro (amazing tool, but I miss so much Photoshop!) so I had to learn from scratch how to use it.

Here you have the first five pages of the story. Sorry in advance, the story will get more happier vibes soon. I promise.
