Meet the Muse | Freki Solidité

Family History: She is aware of her missing brother, but doesn’t recall too many memories of him considering she was only a year old when he left.  She is often left to watch over their father when going on long hunting trips, so she’s more isolated from what the outside world has to offer. When their mother died, the grief was too strong for all the siblings and extended family. Being so close to the God Odin, she plead with him to do something that would save them any more pain. After months of taking her up on the suggestion, he enchanted them all into immortality. Freki was 15, Amarok 19, and Ameriah was 25 when this began (Their ages as humans are listed, but overall, their age as immortals is unknown). She asked Odin to restore their fathers health, but he refused. As trade for enchanting them, Ameriah and Freki sadly have to experience the death of their father eventually. He did this as understanding what you have, and sometimes life isn't fair. That they still have to experience life and death, especially now as immortal beings. It broke their hearts, but they understood and accepted their fathers fate. However, once that time comes, Odin made a promise to protect their father in Valhalla. That he would send their fathers spirit down whenever they asked, so they could still have peace with him. Their mother was granted with this promise as well. Freki has dreamt of being a true leader one day, where she follows in her sisters footsteps to prove her strength

Description: The story of how Freki met Odin is a somewhat detailed one.(Sort of). She wanted to believe in something other than her sister. She wanted to find some way that she could understand her path, and where she would be led to. She knew of other Gods, but they didn't quite resonate with her as much as she wanted. When she was 10 years old, her leader was finally revealed. She was out in the woods one day, and found a wounded crow with a broken wing. She took the crow into her care, but little did she know it was Odin. He revealed himself to her in the woods, where he found himself intrigued with her kind nature and protective attitude. She asked him about where her future was headed, and told him that she was lost with no direction. He offered her a spot to accompany him, which she gladly agreed to. Because she was so protective and strong with him, he used his magic to grant her specific powers(listed below) as a way of thanking her. She requested that this be done with her siblings as well, which he gladly agreed to. However, he told her that she must find another passion along with staying with him in Valhalla. He wanted her to do something that would make her happy, and asked what she enjoyed doing before she met him. She loved to write and talk about the new discoveries she's made in her years, and he was more than happy to guide her down that path. She became a journalist not too long after their discussion, which is what she does when she's not in Valhalla

She is independent and usually likes things to go how she wants. However, she can still be flexible, depending on the situation in her mind

Family History: (More in depth information about the beginning of the family can be found on Ameriah's description) (As stated in her bio): Amarok's family feared him, and were worried for their own safety. When he was just 5 years old, he was kicked out of the family and was told to never return for a very long time. The reason why he managed to stay for the short 5 years of his life was all because of his oldest sister. She pled with their parents enough, but even then he was still removed. He doesn’t know it, but his mother not only died of old age, but was caught up in another pack and had passed away. His father is losing his life too, and is slowly dying, in which his sister had to become the pack leader. He faught for himself out in the wild, only knowing what he's learned in those 5 years to survive. However, he got himself into a dangerous situation one night, trying to take on other wild animals that nearly killed him. Little did he know, there was a human family that lived near by and heard howling and screeching. His now adoptive parents found him(Linda and Pete), almost lifeless. They took him in, and made him a part of their family. They knew he was a werewolf, but that didn't stop them from taking care of an innocent, injured child. That's where he stayed for most of his life, until he decided that maybe he could live on his own again. Out in the woods like how he did before. Which he did for a very, very long time. But he got overly ambitious and traveled further than he ever thought he could, and got lost in the woods by himself with nowhere to go. Until one day, his sister Ameriah, found him where their relationship was finally reconnected after so many years of loss. She was able to direct him back home, though it hurt to see her brother leave once again. When Amarok was younger, his adoptive mother loved to bake and he would often join her. It sparked this joy inside of him, and the two baked almost everyday since the day he was taken into their care

Description: He’s a lone hunter, unlike the rest of his family. Unexpectedly, he forgives his family for letting him go. He’s grown to understand their reasons, even if it meant fighting for himself on his own. If anything, he has a respect for them, for wanting to protect themselves and not allowing them to be struck with such fear and possible danger.  He doesn’t like using his werewolf tendencies as an advantage, and leans more towards using it when he needs to. Unlike most werewolves, he doesn’t always turn on a full moon, and can partially shift whenever he chooses. As Amarok has gotten older throughout his teen and early adult years, he wanted to take on the passion his adoptive mother gave to him. She ran a bakery, and was able to teach him even more and get him the training he needed to become a pastry chef. When he left into the woods, he still came back to fulfill his passion. There's not a chance that he would leave that behind, despite wanting to be independent again. He's become very good at it, and wants to take over his adoptive mothers bakery when she retires. Amarok was 19 when he felt something very different. It wasn't his wolf form making a change one way or another, but something of literal magic. When the day came that Ameriah found him, she was able to explain why he felt different, where these powers came from and that he was now immortal. He has yet to meet his youngest sister due to work, but after hearing many stories about her he has plans to do so in the near future

He doesn't know how to ride a bike

He used to make little twig huts when he was younger

Family History: Ameriah’s parents were born and raised in France, but had to move locations after too many people knew about their family secret: raising and birthing werewolves. It was too risky for her parents to stay, and they moved to Scotland instead. Ameriah was born in Pitlochry where she grew up learning about herself and her families past. This is why her and later siblings have French last names, but not Scottish ones. It was to keep the heritage alive, and to remember the past they had to somewhat leave behind. When Amarok was born later on, a big argument happened between her and her parents. They knew right away that Amarok could be a risk for all of them, and they didn’t want to take their chances. After fighting with her family extensively to keep her brother, Amarok, in their home she was left with a great amount of emptiness and sorrow. She felt as though she let him down, and herself in the process. The two became very close, even though it was short lived. She told him that she would find him one day, and even if she couldn’t, she would always be able to sense where he was. Even after a good couple years of not seeing each other. She found him one day, lost in the woods on a full moon and they were able to reconnect once again. However, she has kept something secret for many many years, and is horrified to tell her brother. The secret being is that their mother died due to an unknown illness and old age. She’s aware she needs to tell him, considering he’s asked many times to visit everyone and prove that he wasn’t as scary as they made him out to be. But, she knows that because he hasn’t seen the rest of his family for his whole life, it would break his heart. Now with her father dying, she had no choice but to become the pack leader. She holds some resentment towards her parents, but has let some of that go as a result of her mother. When their youngest sister, Freki, was born, she was worried about the same thing happening again. Her and her youngest sibling are quite close as well, due to the fear of her father changing his mind and letting her go too. Though this didn’t happen, she keeps a very close eye on Freki and rarely let’s her out of her sight

Description: Ameriah found her passion for photography when she saw all over social media of people posing with hunted animals. This infuriated her, and she wanted to change that perspective of how animals should be treated just as humans should. At the age of 22, she got herself a camera and that’s when it all started. She took pictures of nature, then moved on to using wild or brought in animals as “models” for photoshoots. She wanted to express that not all animals are bad, and they’re just as beautiful as anything else. She runs her own website and has her personal photography business. However, there are passions Ameriah had to let go when her parents became ill. She loved to travel, make art, write poetry, and dabbled into anything she wanted to. But she had to let these go to focus on her parents, though photography wasn’t one of them. She misses those quite a lot, and hopes that one day she can pick up where she left off, and continue the literal journey she was taking herself on. When she was told that her youngest sister was now accompanying Odin, she was actually quite proud. Ameriah didn't doubt her abilities, but she was happy to find that her sister was going on her own path and was becoming the leader she always dreamt about being. When Odin granted her own powers, she was amazed. She felt different, and she loved every second of it

She is strong and well rounded, independent and witty

She is also very friendly and caring, but holds up more boundaries due to her painful past

She is protective, more so of those she cares about

She is wise and intelligent, and tends to stand her ground

She is self aware, and is always open to helping others do the same

She is also laid back and social, and can be a bit flirtatious from time to time

Even with this, she has no intentions to lead others on, and is aware when she takes things too far

She’s not afraid to be honest with people

She can be a bit intimidating at first, but becomes comfortable quickly

She can be very sarcastic

She’s very nurturing

She can be seductive when she needs/wants to be

She can get a bit angered easily
