like in lazarus rising when dean asks “who are you?” cas could’ve should’ve answered “i’m castiel, i’m an angel of the lord” but no he needed to lead with “i’m the one who gripped you tight and raised you from perdition.” i love how cas saw this as the most important answer, that from his first line we know he takes pride in saving dean, that the first thing he wants dean to understand is not i’m an angel it’s you’ve been wondering who saved you and it was me it was me it was me

keep thinking about the way ravi's hug caught eddie by surprise because he was too busy Staring At Buck to see him coming. as if they were the only two people on that rooftop. like, i'm fairly certain he didn't even see anyone else. literally everything blurred away into the background except his boybestfriendpartnerhusband. buck buckley tunnel vision. THAT'S HIS GUY. and also crucially buck is staring back. with his own very obvious eddie diaz tunnel vision. they both forgot they were still at a scene and had work to do for a minute there. chimney taking the rat home after it was infected and healed by the same virus that "killed" bobby

said virus has only a 30% mortality rate (according to the episode) and moira only sped up the incubation time of the virus, not the strength

we didnt see his body

the script leak from both oliver and jlh with bobby saying "im being buried alive" was the same day the cast and crew were filming at a graveyard

my 2 cents for 8x15:

I hate when a character dies on a show. absolutely shatters me.

but somewhere? I knew this was coming. given his history with suicidal thoughts, and wanting to do penance for the deaths he caused.

the show has always wanted us to see what happens in the lives of first responders, and loosing a colleague, who has become family to you, is a part of it. the actors and show runners have reiterated constantly that they want to portray the reality of the job. loosing a member of 118 was inevitable, I'm afraid.

it is almost fitting that bobby dies protecting his team, because that's what he is at his core. a dedicated, selfless firefighter.

I believe he was always going to die in the line of duty.

somehow I think it's better that he dies what he does best (being a captain) rather than say, a car crash or a fire.

not at all looking forward to the aftermath of his death.

It’s okay. We’re okay. Hen becomes captain, Eddie comes back to LA to take her place as a paramedic with Chimney, Buck and Ravi partners still going strong. It’s okay. I’m coping. We’ll make it through this.🙃

don’t worry guys bobby may be dead but peter is still gonna be on set because he’s gonna be the doppelgänger of athena’s dead husband that she has a weird almost affair with that ultimately results in little benefit for her character or plot. 😁😁
