Guides Explained

Guides are a role specific to Driftclan. Being more spiritual than other groups, Driftclan relies on signs from The Beyond to aid in important decisions and to help determine where they stay for a while before moving on to the next.

Guides are either Mediums or those who are more spiritual than others when there are no Mediums in the clan. Any cat can be a guide, regardless of role.

There is typically only one guide, with another cat being chosen by them through the spirits to take over that role when they die. However, Driftclan had no guide before Slumberpoppy was born.

Anyway I'm going to be posting some of these mini worldbuilding comics because there are concepts that get brought up within the next few moons that become really important later on in the story.

also new role: Guides - tldr; cats who get the signs and talk to spirits. the current guide is Slumberpoppy, he's been one since he was a kit. I will likely make a longer post about guides tho when I am not incredibly sleep deprived hajhdjgfeb

No one's gotten any lives yet, this was just a flashy sign sent by a different mystery ghost!! Still terrifying for those involved haha

now two cats are contenders for leader, Scorchglint and Frostspeck :3

this will surely be good for Slumberpoppy's mental health

Poll ended a while ago but the handwriting font won! Yahoo!

I have up to the last page of moon 3 drawn and I really don't feel like going back to redo all the lettering, so you'll be stuck with default for a little longer :^(

On a brighter note I should be able to get a decent amount of backlog by the time my current one runs out to upload more often :^)
