Let's Talk About Introjects
Introjects- specifically fictional introjects;
You aren't don't have to be your source.
All the time, I see people saying "fictives aren't their source", which, technically is true, because it is quite impossible to literally be a fictional character, as that is paradoxical. However, I also believe it is reasonable for those who do identify with their source to talk about and relate to it. Not every fictive wants to be connected with their source, not every fictive is 'canon', but some are, and I think that's okay. If an introject identifies with that character, there is no harm in letting them have that bit of comfort (unless they're using their source as an excuse for something, obviously).
2. Dealing with boundaries.
If you see "no doubles" or "introjects from ___ DNI", respect the boundaries, even if you don't agree. You may be upset because you don't relate to your source and think it's unfair that you are being excluded because of that, but if the interaction continues, then it will likely just end in a fight, which isn't good for either parties.
3. Dealing with 'problematic' sources.
For some odd reason, there is a trend in the plural community where if a system has a problematic fictive, then they are more likely to get ostracized and/or fakeclaimed. This circles back around to "not all fictives are their sources/identify with their sources". -- For a personal example: we have two extremely 'problematic' fictives who have done very bad things in their source, those being Hannibal and Will. Hannibal has a similar demeanor to his source, but he obviously doesn't plan on or care to cannibalize people. His entire role within the system is to deal with psychotic episodes and calm Will down. Hannibal is an example of a 'problematic' fictive who does not identify with his source. Will, however, does strongly identify with his source. He has compulsions and dark thoughts. That doesn't mean he enjoys them or plans on acting them out- just like anyone with intrusive thoughts. Will is an example of a 'problematic' fictive who does identify with his source. Just because the seed is there doesn't mean it has been planted. Relating to a problematic source doesn't automatically make you a bad person. --
4. Coping with source trauma.
Again, this will not apply to all fictives, such as those who do not relate to their source, do not have pseudomemories, or those with pleasant sources. For those that do, though, dealing with trauma that is not the body's can feel very invalidating, or may not feel "real enough" to consider actual trauma. However, if you find yourself struggling due to source trauma, then there is no shame in seeking help. Overcoming source trauma is a step towards overcoming other traumas and stressors. There is no point in invalidating this trauma just because it technically didn't occur- this would be akin to invalidating hallucination trauma or obsessive-compulsive trauma.
5. Fictives from new media aren't possible.
This is just blatantly untrue. New alters form due to trauma and life stressors. There is a lot of fakeclaiming when it comes to fictives from new media, because it "wasn't around when you were traumatized". Just because OSDDID involves childhood trauma does not mean that all alters have to be made during childhood. Victims of abuse are often trapped in a vicious cycle- not everyone can escape their traumatic environments. Some people who formed OSDDID may still be experiencing their original trauma(s).

Too blurry and tired to proofread, but this is mainly opinionated syscourse stuff anyways.
Post is not endo related, but pro-endos DNI anyways

{ Important post! Please read! }
Hello everyonee!! I'd just like to say before the rest of the post, thank you for all your support!!
I'd like to think I'm a pretty active anti-endo mogai blog and since many mogai folk either don't want to be involved in discourse or are pro-endo its hard to get promo,
So I would really appreciate it if you guys could spread this post so that everyone who needs a safe space can find us!
Also!! If you're an anti-endo mogai blog or know some, say it in the replies! >:D

Dear adults on the internet:
If a kid is aggravating you, you have the choice to not respond. This isn’t a fair fight and you know it, so be the bigger person and SHUT IT DOWN.

There's a new label floating around on the Internet that's basically just a rebranded term for proship- it's called comship, short for "complicated ships." Similar to the label FAIA that was created a little while back, it's basically just another attempt by proshippers to identify eachother and invade the spaces of people who do not like proshippers.
It's also worth noting that while some proshippers seem to exclude minors from their spaces, "comshippers" are openly welcoming to minors as long as they're "mature enough" to be in said spaces.
Tumblr media
Their symbols include the emoji combos "🕊⚠️" and "🍋🌈," as well as this flag shown below, with or without the dove emoji. They're also referred to as "comcan" or "comfic."
Tumblr media
[ID: A 5-stripe flag with horizontal stripes in the following order: Mint green, cyan, dark blue, dark purple, and dark magenta. A dove emoji is also present on the flag.]
Feel free to reblog to spread awareness.
