I’m disgusted by the possibility of being Foehl’s wife. But I’m also excited for the drama that’s stirring up. I’m loving the tension between Tai and Foelh. It’s some juicy stuff. I can only imagine how it’ll go down when my Tiss actually does take that drink with Foehl.

HSR man… enough has been said, but I still need to say my piece. The train has been derailing for a while now, so it’s something we’ve seen coming, but that still doesn’t make the aftermath any easier to process. I’m absolutely gutted because the potential of what Dmitry and Lane could have been in the hands of a less bigoted and hateful writer... that’s really what I’m mourning now at this point (and what Anna & Greg romancers have been mourning for a while now).

I’ve seen people say “well Lane was always supposed to be like this, she was never supposed to be a good person.” Then what was the point of establishing the Voice of God and Whisper of the Devil paths? What was the point of branching routes where she is either aligned with the squad or out for herself? What was the point of any of it if, when it comes down to the most rudimentary choices and the most crucial moments, Lane can ultimately never be redeemed? If she can never grow? Even if she is like Audrey, and it’s all designed for her to ultimately end up as a sacrificial lamb, where is your accountability as an author for your main character’s lack of development? There is a way to write flawed/complex/traumatized characters navigating a dystopian world WITHOUT disillusioning your entire audience in the process. An audience who have not only invested resources like time and money, but also grown emotionally attached to the characters you’ve developed.

I used to lose sleep in the beginning updates of this story because I was genuinely excited by the possibilities. I was excited about the idea of expanding the HS universe that has held a special place in my heart since I first started playing RC at the peak of my depression in 2021. And Sasha has repeatedly disrespected and perverted that world. Suffice to say, I’m completely done with HSR and strapped the hell in for HS3. Sasha better have NOTHING to do with that project. Like I don’t even want her pinky toe to be within a 30 mile radius of it. She can’t sit with us.

Pixelberry: Removes the option to watch 100 ads to get diamonds, which still made them money and gave people who had to prioritize ,you know rent and groceries, the chance to get premium options without breaking the bank.

Also Pixelberry: Increases the premium options and purposefully shoves their plots behind them.

Pixelberry Again: Charges probably the highest VIP monthly rate out of the interactive story app for just 1 month...

Pixelberry: You know what the problem is? Players re-reading their favorite stories and getting 15 diamonds for completing it. We're going to go ahead and get rid of it after you read it the first time :)

Everyday I am more and more grateful I deleted that app and cancelled my VIP membership for it because jesus FUCK I have never seen an app purposefully self-sabotage and then actively gaslight the players into thinking THEY are the problem.

Also apparently people are upset that Do No Harm is only eight chapters…meanwhile I’m sitting here like…….what did you expect??? It’s AI slop. It’s not even real work. How could you reasonably expect what is very clearly a story almost entirely (if not, completely) generated and stylized by AI to sustain itself for longer durations?

Playchoices started declining around 2019 I think. Every book started feeling like a terrible clone from the previous instalment. Maybe they should've kept their other games around and updated and not rely on 1 app to make them money. I mean, let's be honest, Playchoices always had the same dynamic in every book. MC exists, 3 love interests exist, and then some best friend character for the reader is by your side, constantly telling you to sneak away with a special someone, just trying to get you to give in and spend diamonds. It got old real quick. Now they're partnered with another company who uses AI, and they have the audacity to say they're gonna be creative. Joining with bigger companies to profit them is just asking for trouble. Lay offs and content changes was obvious from the get go. I'm not being horrible but if your app isn't keeping fans engaged and you're losing money, perhaps you should try making better content or not rely on 1 single app to keep you and your team afloat. More and more staff members will be layed off and soon Pixelberry will just be a name that churns out AI literature. If you can call it that. The art is so bad btw

i just read dmitrys scene and HELLO?! WHO APPROVED THIS SCENE?! Lane tries to give him a bj to distract him from questioning about the book but he literally straight up tells lane “No. Stop. Dont do that.” AND SHE CONTINUES ANYWAYS OUT OF SPITE. and to make it worse, she thinks ‘He could say anything, but his body wanted only one thing.’ ????? its basically saying he asked for it/consented bc his body had a reaction. NO MEANS NO, NO MATTER HOW YOUR BODY REACTS!!! do better
