She had figured it couldn't have just been the phenomena, eyes narrowing at the mention of times passed... yet that faded as she went on to mention the cathedral, confused as to what she meant.

'I trust you will in due course...' She gave a small nod in acknowledgement before continuing.

'I'm not to what you refer to with the Cathedral, mind. I'm curious as to how you'd get in trouble with it's inhabitants if you looked at their paintings. What are they? Cursed?'

She tried to jest, yet considering what had been discussed so far, it was on the table, right?

Various shiftings could be heard as she was able to escape the garment, the fabric falling to the floor.

'Surely they can make something both practical and functional. I'm sure they are things that strike that balance...there must be...'

Some more shuffling before the curtain was pulled back, revealing the woman in her trousers and dudou, yet the majority was covered as she held the bundle of fabric in front of her, presumably the dress.

'That should be all of it. Nothing tore or broke....well crafted for sure, so you should be able to get all your money back.' She would extend her arms to the smith, eyes closed while she pouted.

'....Don't try it again. I threw the last one I received into a fireplace...'

She would be heard struggling behind the curtain, swearing under her breath as figured out how to reverse engineer all the catches and buckles.

'Sure! It might! But have you ever...ngh....tried to fucking move...in the damn.....thing!!' She was able to undo the corset, panting as she was finally able to breathe properly again, her hand hovering over her sternum.

'Dresses don't suit everyone. They're a liability-''

The woman hobbled out from behind the curtain, bright red as she closed the final clasps, holding herself awkwardly.

She comes out from the curtain with some hesitancy, constantly adjusting the jacket.

'....I appreciate the idea and understand what it's supposed to do....but I'll be honest, not on me-'

The woman came out from behind the curtain, twirling around....admittedly one of the straps slumping from her shoulder.

'Not bad....not bad at all! Not sure how practical they are nor what purpose they serve in my case...but they're definitely a choice!'
