This is you basic bright red lipstick. Its matte and lightweight Its nothing special however having a red lipstick in your beauty supply is a great idea.

Lovesick Matte Merlot Lipstick

make a bold mark wherever you go in this Merlot Matte Lipstick from Lovesick. The deep crimson red will definitely get you noticed, and the flat finish is so hot right now. 

Unlike what it say in my opinion this isn’t matte its more of a crème. Like the name suggests it is a wine red color. Does not  leave lips feeling dry

Jordana cherry

I have to be honest I only picked this up because I could not find my red lipstick, and I needed red for a costume. I don’t know if its old or what but it was difficult to put on like it was dry. The color isn’t bad its like a cherry punch. Its reminds me of the stain you get from drinking punch on a summers day. But its not worth it. If the hard application didn’t throw me off the texture of sticky wax did. Going in my trash, surprised it wasn’t already.

I have two other lipstick in this formula that I love….so I really want to love this too. Other than the color I cant. When I pull the wand out I notice clumps. As I put it on streaks that I need to go over that I done mind. What I do mind (a lot) Is as I go on flakes happen in my teeth. My tongue cant get them off so I do have to use my finger. Unlike the other colors, this one comes off so easily, leaving me with an upper lip mustache which while amusing is not what you want your lipstick to do. I don’t know maybe I just got a dud. Like I said I like the color It certainly worthy of the name goth topic. Will I keep using it, yes I spent money on it and I’m a cheap ass so sue me.

It is semi-matte like they state, and I do love it when lipstick have vitamins to keep your lips moisturized. Yes you will have to touch up. Which I would rather do then rub flakes of lipstick off my teeth. It also was not pricey at all.
