I think the funniest possible modern textual adaptation of Dracula would be Jonathan as a part time recipe blogger and you have to scroll through 10 paragraphs of the most harrowing thing you’ve ever read in your life just to get the recipe for paprika hendl

Someone once said that the titles of jane austen’s novels are the name of the problems in the books. For example: in pride and prejudice the biggest problem is the conflict between pride and prejudice. So that makes Emma the biggest problem in Emma and, now that I have started reading the novel, I have never agreed more with something than I agree with this.

Gift art? As MY Christmas present?! It's more likely than you think!

Two of my favorite things in this world is creating stuff and Christmas! So, in honor of me finally having the time, I'm going to be holding a Christmas gift drawing, as in, if you send me a request, I'll put you URL in a hat and have a drawing! There will be at LEAST three winners, however-there may be more depending on how much time is afforded to me!

How to enter?

Easy! Message me or send an ask! Include what gift you would prefer and the details and boom! Your URL will be added to the hat that I will be drawing out of!

What are the gifts!?

You can request either:

-a sketch of up to 2 characters

Example A

-a colored sketch of one character

Example B

-sketches of busts of up to 3 characters (can be 3 of the same character or 3 different ones!)

Example V (for Vetinari, cuz well...that there is Vetinari)

-a very short, one shot fic

(for this one I will either need to know the characters if you just want to request a certain prompt OR you are going to have to be very VERY specific! If you request this one I might ask for more details.) Also a short disclaimer about this one: please keep in mind that writing is my casual and very chill hobby, and although I thoroughly enjoy it, I consider myself a novice! However, I will try my best of course!

What are the rules!?

-Just because you enter, does not guarantee that your name will be pulled. I will do as many entrees as I can but only THREE are guaranteed.

-Your gift will be posted and messaged to you on December 24th! I am sending this out early in order to give myself plenty of time to complete the gifts!

-No NSFW

-If you request a drawing of an OC or a character I am not familiar with I WILL need a reference!

-For art, the more specific you want it, the more specific you have to be! If you just request a character or two characters, you're leaving it up to the dealer (that's me!). They might show up in a meme or reaction image pose, or they might just be standing there in a goofy Christmas outfit! So you if don't want that (or do!) specify!

-You MUST submit your request by November 26th! You submit your request by either messaging me or asking me! It can be as simple as "Hey for Christmas I want a colored sketch of so-and-so from that-one-thing!" and BOOM! You're in!

Me and a friend are reading the discworld books together but apparently I quote- “devour books like they’re water” and “what the heck you mad-woman!?!” so I’m taking a detour and rereading David Copperfield since it’s been about a year or so since I read it the first time and the love still hasn’t died (probably never will!) So here. Have a probably got away with something awful and is making sure David KNOWS it Uriah Heep.
