🌸🍀 Hello and welcome to our (first) Flufftober Spring Edition 🌸🍀

SURPRISE 😁

Yes, we've decided that one month of the year simply isn't enough anymore! So we would like to fill two weeks in March with as much fluff as possible 🥰 for that to happen, we present you with 14 prompts, some of them neutral, some very much sping-themed.

How does this work?

Pretty much like our regular Flufftober event in October, so you'll find all the common rules and info below the cut. Contrary to the big event though, this one here only runs for two weeks instead of the entire month, and we set the date from March 11th to March 24th! So prompt one is NOT supposed to be posted on March 1st but instead on March 11th! Prompt two is for March 12th, prompt 3 for March 13th, and so on...

Since this is a smaller prompt list, you also won't find any prompt extras to switch these out with, sorry. Maaaybe if this event is a success, we'll think about changing that in upcoming years 😉

Standard Blog Rules & FAQ

(Due to previous asks, we made sure to add more points to this section - while they're not new rules, they're new to this list, so you'll find them colored green)

No inc*st or p*dophilia - we can’t keep you from writing it or creating art for it but it won’t be reblogged. No inc*st: This rule does not apply to distant cousins and such, as you might find in the LotR fandom (or basically in all of European Monarchy). The line we draw is at direct blood relations (siblings, (grand)parents, kids) and/or legal guardianship. No p*dophilia: This rule does not rule out fandoms that feature teenagers such as Harry Potter, Heartstoppers, Hunger Games, etc. It also doesn't mean you can't write about their time together as teenagers! It's aimed at ships in which one is a minor and the other is not - but since even that has grey areas, the rule is this: if you keep it SFW, all is good and allowed, we don't care; if it turns NSFW, be mindful of the legalities of the world/society/times your characters live in.

No hate or ship bashing - we’re all different and we all love different things. As long as it doesn’t go against rule #1, it’s allowed.

Tag correctly! Trigger warnings (including cheating!), ships, ratings, (pure) smut, etc - it’s all fine as long as you tag it.

There’s absolutely no word count restriction, write as little or as much as you like.

In regards to art, anything goes: drawings, paintings, collages, mood boards, gif sets, videos, playlists… the sky’s the limit (though not really…). If you would like to create a podfic, the fic you're using does not have to be new - your creation will be new!

You can mix and mash different mediums however you like, be it within one prompt or on different days.

While we can’t force you to write fluff or create fluffy art, please try to keep in mind that this is a fluff event 😉 that, of course, doesn't mean you can't combine it with angsty/whumpy prompts - hurt/comfort is absolutely welcome!

You can start creating as soon as you see this - but please refrain from posting before the respective day.

If you post early, we will schedule your post for the correct day; if you use multiple prompts in one creation, we will post on the earliest day you used.

You can participate on as many days as you like, even if it’s just one; you can also create multiple entries for the same day.

You can replace as many original prompts as you like with our prompt extras; you can also combine them with the original prompts or create for them in addition, that's completely up to you.

It’s okay to write one story/a series for all the prompts.

You do not have to stick to one character, ship, or even one fandom - switch as often as you like to or even write for multiple ships for one day.

The ship does not have to be a romantic one! Friendship and family feels are more than welcome (but this is not a way to get around rule #1!)

Original works as well as OCs in fandoms are welcome! But please make sure to mark these clearly, either in the tags or the post itself. We're not familiar with all fandoms (though we're definitely learning a lot!), so we're not always sure what might be an OC and what might be such an unknown side character not even Google can find them...

Reader insert fics (for example "character x reader") as well as RPFs are absolutely allowed.

Other languages are also welcome - just make sure to clearly mark the day and fandom so that we can still easily reblog.

This event can be combined with other events as long as the other event allows it.

Late entries are always welcome, even if it is months or years later.

All fandoms and ships are welcome - fanon and canon - as long as they’re of age (in case you want to add smut) and not related.

DAY 31 OF FLUFFTOBER: Dreams do come true

Ship: Aislin x Ella

Words: 501

Breakfast at the tavern, in a corner of the room. The one the waitress kept for both of them, maybe because they were her favorite couple. Not without good reasons though.

It was hard not to appreciate Ella and Aislin. Two sweet beings, happy to help and never creating any trouble. Two girls that looked like they were made for each other with how in love they seemed.

Another quest had been asked of them and they were eating before going, to have enough strength.

Ella spoke casually before taking a bite of her food.

"You know… you were in my dreams yesterday." She declared and Aislin stopped for a second.

"Oh? Was I?" She questioned, an eyebrow raised at that comment.

Ella nodded, with an innocent smile.

"Yeah, actually. You’ve been in them quite often recently." She continued and Aislin let a chuckle, which made Ella look at her with a slight confused face.

"How come? What happens in these dreams?" Aislin asked, this time with a small smirk and Ella’s eyes widen as she lightly slapped Aislin’s arm.

“Don’t look at me like that! I didn’t mean these kind of dreams!” Ella protested, her cheeks a bit red, which made Aislin laugh.

“Fine, fine, I’m sorry. You didn’t specify though!” Aislin defended herself and Ella laughed a bit, realizing how this could have been understood.

They both grew silent for a second before Ella kept on going.

“Actually… It’s good dreams. The ones that makes me happy.” She admitted again and Aislin looked at her, curiously.

She approached her head toward her.

“What do you see in them? What do we do?” She asked her and Ella let a small smile escape her.

“You. Me. Us. Together. In love. Having that cottage house we keep speaking about. Having a child too. A few animals, a garden. We had a house that was now a home. And it felt peaceful, like we were at the right place.” Ella said, her eyes soft, hopeful.

Aislin’s heart melted. Gosh, Ella was the cutest, wasn’t she?

She was there, having breakfast with her, following on quests, with not a complaint ever.

And she wanted to spend the rest of her life with her.

She was really perfect, wasn’t she?

Aislin’s train of thoughts were interrupted with a small scoff and blushy cheeks from her girlfriend.

“Stop, now I’m embarrassed.” She whined and Aislin shook her head, with a chuckle.

“Don’t be. Because it’s what I want too.” She said softly, which made Ella’s eyes bigger in surprise.

Aislin’s hand reached for her cheek, which Ella pushed into her hand.

“Spending the rest of my life with you, in peace, is the only thing I want.” Aislin let out softly.

Love in their eyes, softness in their touch, affection in every action.

“I love you.” Ella said, but no words were needed.

They both knew.

Yet… There was no way Aislin would left it unsaid.

“I love you too.”

DAY 30 OF FLUFFTOBER: Alt 1: Hot Chocolate

Characters: Abby & Ally

Words: 557

Dealing with a breakup was hard. For Abby, her heart broken as another failed relationship dawned up on her. Head in the pillows, crying again, sniffing, hair not brushed, still in her jammies, no makeup, eyes red and bloated, the whole image of what she would call pathetic, what she would laugh at because it’s just a relationship, right? How much her past self would look at her with exasperation right now.

For Alizée, dealing with a sister with a broken heart was new. Don’t get it wrong, breakups had happened a lot but this was the first Abby was genuinely a mess about it.

Which meant that she had to be the supporting one and the one to fix it all.

So she walked into Abby’s room, grabbing the covers that covered her sister and dragged them on the floor.

"You’re getting out of bed." Alizée said but she was only met with a glare and a look full of tears.

"No." Abby refused, trying to grab the covers back.

"Yes." Alizée insisted, putting them away so Abby couldn’t grab them.

"No." Abby refused again, giving up as she push her head in the pillows.

Alizée sighed. Gosh, this was harder than she thought.

She silently thanked her sister in her head for being so patient toward her.

"You can’t stay all day in bed, being sad." Alizée stated, as how Abby would act usually when she was dealing with a broken heart.

But it didn’t worked as Abby only closed her eyes, refusing to speak.

Alizée stayed frozen, thinking. This wasn’t working. She had to think about something else.

If the Abby way didn’t worked…

It might be time to use the Ally’s way, she thought as she left the room, heading out.

The bedroom door opened again, Abby groaning at that, covers back on her.

Alizée walked to her side, sitting beside her. She put her hand on her twin’s shoulder, trying to soothe her.

"Okay, come on, we gotta get up now." Her voice was softer this time, trying to coax her out of bed.

Abby turned to her, shaking her head.

"I said n-" She started but got interrupted right away.

"I made hot chocolate." She said, showing the cup on the night stand.

Abby got quiet as she looked at it. The smell felt comforting. She looked at Alizée with sad eyes, no traces of anger left. Maybe a bit of confusion as well.

"And I’ve got the almond croissants that make you think of home." Alizée continued, getting it out of her purse before handing it to her sister.

It took a minute before Abby reacted. Tears were still there but it wasn’t just sadness anymore.

No, it was something softer. Warmer. Grateful.

She took the croissant before offering a sad smile to her sister.

"Thank you." She said softly and Alizée smiled reassuringly at her.

She figured it out. Her sister needed her. Not anything else.

She sat beside her, letting her sister lay her head on her shoulder.

"It’s okay. Baby steps, alright?" She assured and her sister nodded, closing her eyes for a few seconds.

Alizée let her head fall gently on her sister’s as she let her sister rest for a second.

"I’m here for you. Always." She reminded, knowing that they would both be okay.

SFW ALPHABET: NORA AND LORCAN

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?): Nora is the one who initiate it the most, as Lorcan is more of a follower. If he knows Nora is okay with it, he’ll reciprocate. In public, hand holding is a common thing for both of them but, as Nora can get easily flustered (not that Lorcan loves to use this fact when they are in private), it often stops at that, with the exception of a few stolen kisses from each other once in a while. In private, the affection can include cuddling, hugs and kisses more freely.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?): It’s the « two different ways of life but still end up being able to learn from each other » kind of friendship. It does fit, as both do care about each other, especially as their different realities sometimes make them worry about each other. There’s a lot of caring but also a big interest on learning about each other’s life.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?): They do! Sometimes, if it’s more passive, it can be one of them cuddling the other while the other do something else (painting, reading, etc). It can also be more of a cuddle session if needed, more often than not both of them facing each other, Nora’s head resting on Lorcan’s chest as he wrap his arms around them. But these are more often reserved on bad or exhausting days.

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?): Absolutely! As time passed, both of them accepted that they would most probably marry each other at some point. For cooking and cleaning, they complete each other. Nora is used to clean the house and her shop so she has no trouble taking care of it. That said, cooking is not something she’s good at, especially for complicated food. For Lorcan, he learned how to make food for himself when he was younger and now make sure he can have balanced meals. He has no trouble to share with Nora and make sure she eats well too.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?): It would be done in a mutual way, after a long discussion and after accepting that nothing can be fixed. It would break both of their heart but if it was for the best, they would do it. They would still stay friend as they still care for each other and it wouldn’t be that much awkward. Chances are they would get back together after a few times apart though as they got used to have each other in their life and couldn’t imagine it with someone else.

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?): It took them a while but they eventually got there. With times, it was clear that this was going to be a committed relationship, that they were each other’s person. The whole relationship was started in a long-term way, in a « I see myself with that person for a long time » so it was not hard to consider getting married after a while. It would take a few years as both of them wanted to fix their life and issues before that but give or take 3-4 years and marriage would probably happen at that point.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?): With Lorcan’s job, it’s a bit uncanny to see how gentle he can be. He tries his best not to raise his voice. He still tease his partner and play fight with them, but also never get too rough to make them scared. That also translate during fights. Fights are rarely with yells, the farthest he’ll go is use some sarcasm and snarky comments but they would be apologized about quickly and the situation would be dealt with as soon as possible. Nora is gentle as well in the relationship but can be a little rougher as she knows she can get away with it, playing fight or starting pillow fights without much consequences. She does get a little bit tougher emotionally, sometimes lashing out when she got too much on her plate. She does apologize for it quickly though and make sure to never fix fights when angry, not putting her frustration on her partner.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?): They do like hugs! It’s something done more in a natural and casual way, it’s never asked, it’s just done. For Lorcan, his go-to is a classic back hug, when he wants either attention or just as a way to make his presence known, when Nora is painting for example. His hugs are done in a soft way, not too tight but enough to still be warm and still make his presence clearly known. For Nora, hugs are done after not being able to see Lorcan for a while or for comfort. While a back hug, tight but not bone-crushing, is reserved for reunion, it’ll be a side-hug, a bit loose, she’ll go for comfort or attention. It’ll become tighter after Lorcan wraps her arm around her, getting her closer to him.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?): It’s said in the first year of the relationship, after a few months of dating. It’s said in their head a lot way before though. Lorcan is the one who said it first, followed by Nora right after. It’s said on a random day, where both of them are not talking, her with her head on his lap as she reads, him reading as well, seated on the sofa, as he took a moment to just watch her being so peaceful with him. Nora says it back, with red cheeks and a giggle. It’s soft, it’s full of love and realization that all of this is exactly where they want to be.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?): Jealousy is not frequent between both of them but it does happens once in a while. As it used to create disagreements between the two of us at the start of the relationship, both of them agreed to speak about it when it happens, which is met with understanding and reassurance whenever it is spoken about.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss their partner? Where do they like to be kissed?): Kisses are more frequent than hugs for both of them. Kisses after a work day are a must between them and it’s a good way to sneakily give each other affection in public. For Lorcan, kisses on the head, behind the head and on the neck are his favourites. For Nora, cheek kisses, nose kisses and neck kisses are their go-to. Makeout session happens once in a while, but they are done slowly and softly, taking their time (even if Nora would love it to be sped up a bit, at Lorcan’s amusement.)

L = Little ones (How are they around children?): Lorcan is amazing with children. He has grow up with a little brother that he helped take care off so he already has this instinct with children. Even now, he knows he want at least one child of his own. For Nora, as she grew up with a little sister, she knows how to take care of children. That said, with the trauma she had, she isn’t sure about children. She would be okay with one of their own but if she could adopt for the others, she would rather do that.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?): Mornings are a part of their routine at this point. They wake up not so long after the other. After a small cuddle session, they either spend time in their pajamas, Lorcan making breakfast before they eta together, get ready and go to work. That said, once in a while, they get ready and go eat breakfast at the coffeeshop they both met at before work.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?): Nora is the first to arrive home so they make are that the house is clean if it’s becoming a mess. Lorcan is responsible for dinner (after both of them got their « happy to see you » kiss). After that, they sometimes go on dates, being a walk or anything else or they can also just stay at their place. In that case, more often than not, Nora is painting or drawing and Lorcan is reading something, both of them close to each other. They don’t go to sleep that late, unless if they want to finish what they started. They get ready together before going to bed and cuddle themselves to sleep.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?): As partners, Lorcan makes sure that he’s an open book. If you ask, he’ll answer. Even if it’s uncomfortable. In that case, he’ll take the time to sit down and talk properly about it to make sure it’s as clear as it can be and that there can’t be any misinterpretation. He values honesty in a relationship and, as much as he might not reveal it all, as he doesn’t judge everything pertinent to be mentioned, he will never turn down a conversation if the answer is important for his partner. For Nora, you might have to ask a bit more about her life as what she had to deal with is a lot. That said, with the right person, Lorcan in that case, she can get to open up after a while. She does need to be with someone she trust a lot and knows will try to understand her, which Lorcan did and accept.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?): Nora is a bit more impatient than Lorcan but they are pretty patient themselves and don’t get mad easily. For Lorcan, they’re most likely going to get mad if Nora is not taking care of themselves or if they had a couple rough days and didn’t had time to deal with the high emotions he’s feeling. He is, that said, quick to apologize and to express calmly his emotions. For Nora, as much as she also gets mad when Lorcan doesn’t take care of himself, she’ll most likely get angry if people keep not respecting their boundaries. More often than not, Lorcan do his best to not cross them but mistakes can happen. A good discussion and a reminder usually fix the problem.

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about their partner? Do they remember every little detail they mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?): Lorcan tends to forget details but he’s also the type to note it down if he knows he should remind it. He has a notebook where details about Nora are written down in and he has it with him almost anywhere he goes. He thinks Nora is not aware of it but she eventually figured it out. For Nora, she remembers these details, especially when it’s someone she cares about a lot. Being from what makes him angry to their coffee order, she has it in her mind and don’t forget it.

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in their relationship?): They both enjoy their relationship as a whole, every moment between each other being something sweet and securing for both of them. That said, for Nora, it was after a picnic and a walk with Lorcan. It was after a few months of dating, both of them talking about anything and everything, having deep talks and figuring out how they both see the world. What made it more special was the way she felt understood and respected and the way how the sunset light fell on Lorcan and how everything was beautiful and how it just fell right. It’s also the day she realized she would probably spend the rest of her life with him. For Lorcan, it was the first time she offered to draw him. How attentive she was, making sure he wouldn’t get bored by talking about everything , how she would look at him so focused, yet with so much love and how she would do everything in her power to make sure he would also have a good time. What made it better was the end result and Lorcan’s realization on how she saw him, with the way she drew him. It made him fall even more in love with her.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect their partner? How would they like to be protected?): Lorcan is a lot more protective than Nora as he has seen how horrible people interact with people, especially with women and female at birth by the fact he had to intervene a few times about this and so have his colleagues. He knows the reality of it, even if he knows it could be worse elsewhere. Also, he has to keep some of the soldiers in check as the one who doesn’t know that they’re with him sometimes take their chances. As much as he knows that Nora can easily defend herself, he can’t help but take the matter into his hands sometimes. For Nora, she can be protective as a reminder that Lorcan is with her, sometimes tugging on their sleeves in public spaces if she sees other girls staring at him for too long. She can also be, more in a nagging way, when he gets hurts after a mission. She does know that he can fight and does not need protection but hey, if she can, once in a while, use her magic to make sure nothing happens to him, it doesn’t hurt anyone, does it?

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?): Anniversaries and special occasions are done with lots of efforts, with flowers, special gifts and a choice of activity that is unusual for them. It’s not something that happens all of the time so it’s celebrated in a special way, making sure that both of them feels like that it’s not a regular thing, that it’s special for both of them. For dates, it does depends as it is planned in the schedule they have but, as it’s often the same type of dates, preparations are not always necessary. For gifts, they both are the type to buy things that makes them think of the other one so they can be a regular thing. For everyday tasks, it’s once again a routine thing, it is done automatically for both of them.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?): For Lorcan, it is his perfectionism. He is the kind of person who needs things to be perfect if he is doing something. He doesn’t care if it’s anyone else and if it’s not done in his way if he’s not the one who does it. But if it’s done by him? It better be as perfect as it can be. For Nora, it is her way to push everything at the last minute. Things get done but very erratically as there’s often not much time for her to do the thing. Also, both of them have the bad habit to not always take care of themselves, yet getting mad at each other for not taking care of themselves.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?): Honestly,not much. For their jobs, they have to look presentable as they will be in contact with other people and they cannot look like they don’t care about how they look. That said, at the second they both are together, out of the public eye, they get comfortable pretty quickly.

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?): They are both aware that they are their own person and do not need the other to survive. That said, perhaps they wouldn’t feel incomplete, but both of them became used to the other. Their routine, their schedule and everything is done to fit with the other and they are more than happy to keep their life like this, so why bother changing it up?

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.): When they first moved with each other, Lorcan had a cat he wasn’t willing to get rid of. Nora, for her part, had an owl. They had to spend weeks to prepare the meetings between the two animals so it would go well. Their two pets now get along just fine now.

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?): For Lorcan, someone who wouldn’t be willing to understand them and meet them halfway when needed would be something that he wouldn’t go after. For Nora, as much as they agree with Lorcan, a person who couldn’t understand that she needs her own bubble would be an instant no from her.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?): For Lorcan, it’s that he has to be the last one to fall asleep. If Nora is not asleep, he is trying his best to stay awake, making sure that she sleeps okay before allowing himself to go to sleep. For Nora, it’s that, unconsciously, when Lorcan joins on the bed if she’s asleep, she’ll reach for him in her sleep, which Lorcan finds very cute.

DAY 29 OF FLUFFTOBER: “Hey, wake up!”

Ship: Aurren x Caleb

Words: 431

The sun had just been up when Caleb woke up. He looked at the clock and realized that him and Aurren had to be up soon if they wanted to do everything that was planned to do.

Meaning it was time to try to wake up Aurren, which was always a challenge as he was always grumpier when it needed to be done.

He tried the soft approach, kissing his face softly. Aurren opened his eyes, slightly, still visibly very sleepy.

« Good morning. » Caleb said with a big smile, which made his husband groaned a bit, closing his eyes again to go back to sleep.

Well, Caleb tried the nice approach. It was time to do a second approach.

Which was to grab Aurren’s pillow and take it away.

Aurren opened his eyes, this time with a scowl.

« Really? » His voice sleepy, but annoyed.

« Wouldn’t need to do this if you listened the first time. » Caleb chuckled.

Aurren closed his eyes again, sighing.

« I wanna sleep… » He said, trying to go back to sleep.

Caleb knew he couldn’t give up now.

« Aurren. » He interpelled softly.

« Shhhhhh. » Aurren shushed him, eyes closed.

« Aurren. » Caleb said again, more firmly.

« Sleep. » Aurren replied, eyes still close, his voice less audible.

« It’s morning. » Caleb insisted.

No answer.

« There’s no time anymore. » He added.

Still no answer.

« We have things to do. » He kept on going.

Again, no answer.

« … You’re asleep again, aren’t you? » He sighed, looking at him. Aurren was, indeed, sleeping again.

Guess he would need to get beyond what he already did.

Meaning grabbing his own pillow and hitting him with it. Hard.

« Hey, wake up! » He said now louder, which made Aurren wake up, scared.

« GAH, are you insane? » Aurren asked him, now way more awake than earlier.

« Bold of you to assume you weren’t made aware way before today. » Caleb smirked at that, which made Aurren scoffed, rolling his eyes.

« Umph. » He let out and Caleb chuckled, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

« I’m sorry. I would let you sleep more if I could. » Caleb said against his cheek and Aurren sighed again.

« I know. » He said, looking at Caleb with resignation but with love as well.

Caleb got out of bed, offering his hand to him, which Aurren took.

« Let’s get up. We’ll take a nap together later. » He promised.

DAY 28 OF FLUFFTOBER: Soothing Touch

Ship: Felicia x Logan

Felicia was walking in the hall, quickly, visibly distressed. Logan was not far behind, trying to keep up.

« I can’t believe this. » She said, more to herself but Logan heard her.

« Felicia, my love, please, wait for me. » He pleaded, but she didn’t slowed down. She only stopped when she was in her room, door closed, sitting on her bed as Logan was standing, looking at her, trying to find a way to calm her down.

« They promised, Logan. They promised! » She exclaimed, putting her head in her hands, distressed and on the verge of panicking.

« I know, my love, I know. » Logan said almost as a whisper, trying to approach her, but she shook her head.

« This could ruin everything. Gosh, what if it does? What if they go behind our back? What if the rumours are true? » Felicia said, as the worst case scenario started forming in her head.

It was supposed to be a simple ball and now that a supposed ally was talking about making a deal with a rival kingdom, panic took over. Not that she showed it. No, she went away as soon as emotions became too much for her.

Logan still approached her.

« Hey, hey. » This made her raise her head to him as he forced her gently to look at him, a hand on her cheek.

« Logan, I don’t have time-» She scoffed but Logan didn’t budge, eyes soft and reassuring.

« You do. Take a minute. I know it’ll help. » He assured, placing one of her hand on his chest as he guided her into some deep breaths.

As they spent a few minutes doing that, without a word, staring at each other, Logan could see Felicia’s panicked eyes go softer, calmer, more relaxed. He smiled. This was exactly what he was looking for.

When it was enough, he let her pull away her hand, as she let a chuckle escape her.

« You really know me more than I do. » She admitted and he chuckled as well.

« Isn’t that supposed to be a part of being your husband? » He retorted and that made her laugh.

« You idiot. » She playfully hit him and he smiled, relieved that he got to calm her down.

When he was sure she felt better, he spoke, more seriously.

« Okay. I’m taking over. » He said and Felicia’s eyes widened.

« Wha- No, Logan, you ca-» She tried to protest but he interrupted her.

« I can and I’ll do it. We’ll go back to the ball when you’ll be fine. For tonight, no worrying for your part, I’ll keep an eye on everyone. And after tonight, we’ll settle a meeting and we’ll figure out a plan. They will not act tonight, they can’t do it and we both know it. Tomorrow, we’ll deal with all of it and we’ll be ready for anything before the sun goes down. Okay? » He told her and, as much as Felicia wanted to protest, to tell him he didn’t needed to do that, the look on his have meant that he wouldn’t change his mind.

Which made her sigh. Yet smile as well. There was really only one person she knew she could always trust and if it was Logan who would take over for a while… Things might not go bad at all.

She accepted her defeat, looking at him.

« Okay. » She accepted and he smiled.

« Good. Now let’s get some cuddles before we go back. » He said, sitting down as well before wrapping his arms around her as she snuggled into him.
