I think mandos ought to have traditional crafts that make use of those kills. Not just dried meat, but ornaments and clothing of leather and bone and teeth and shell. Everyday utilitarian items. Yes they may be an industrial society now, but some elements of that tradition ought to survive.

I have gone too far down the 40k rabbit hole and now am wholly convinced that Omegon is still alive, founded the Grey Knights under a different name around the time of the Horus Heresy (at the behest of The God Emperor for obvious reasons), took the place of Alpharius after he was killed, and became Cypher all to pursue his ultimate goal of killing the God Emperor - forcing his resurrection - and enacting the Star Child prophecy to bring the Imperium into a new age of prosperity.

i think it's great that people who've suffered religious trauma feel a connection to anakin. i also think it's deeply troubling that the majority of them are either unable to recognize or unwilling to admit that the religion he was indoctrinated into and abused by was the sith and not, in fact, the jedi.

I'm not even frustrated with AI art anymore I'm just sad. I feel like this is just. A symptom of a much larger issue. Things just poof into existence for our consumption, and we don't really care about the details. Everything is about instant gratification and convenience. Everything is taken for granted. I don't like it. 😭

I know Jedi have little meal capsule things and other rations, but hear me out:

Jedi who were on extended field missions in wilderness settings hunting, fishing, or foraging for ingredients for meals.

Teaching their Padawans how to cook and passing down recipes that their own Masters passed down to them.

The cultural variation in Jedi lineages leads to such a diverse knowledge of food, spices, seasonings, and herbs - allowing Jedi to craft a diverse selection of meals in the field.

This leads to Jedi who are stationed at one of the many Jedi Temples consistently cooking for one another.

Jedi who worked in professions that were not field related were often incredible bakers.
