I feel that that's the best part of Russell T. Davies. He's not afraid of anyone. If he wants to put a omnisexual character in a tv show then the BBC won't stop him.I'm glad he was the one to start it off, and that they've set the trend for it now. Hopefully Moffat will leave off with the punchlines...

The best thing about Doctor Who since 2005,

is its willingness to show non-traditional couples. Especially married homosexuals, or people with flexible sexualities. More shows need to be like that.

This year, of course, gay people, especially gay men, have been turned into a punchline, but that doesn't erase the wonder that was the Cassini 'sisters', or the Russian nurse's brother in 'The Waters of Mars'.

Fag marriage is good and it is important, and it's not a punchline, however much Steven Moffat would like it to be.

This. I see so much about how he’s one of the worst Doctors, Series 1 is horrible, etc., etc., and it makes me so sad. I’m sorry, he was my first Doctor, and I couldn’t love him anymore than I do. He has some of the best scenes:
