Riley Believe-It-Or-Else is not available for public access from 4:15pm - 4:30pm, everyday.

No one knows where he goes.

If Mayhem asked, he’d probably tell her, but she hasn’t asked, an invisible gift he’s been happy to give back in dividends during all the other slices of the clock.

On channel 3 at 4:15, Frunkus and Grinky’s Rank Pranks blares across the crackling screen of Riley’s tiny tube tv.  He slurps the fizz of the rim of a can of Gluppo Gotta-Chew™, mean green flavor.  He sits in his nest of laundry and old Foodstuff’s bags with the posture of a dropped marionette.

Today on Frunkus and Grinky, they’re at the soda fountain of Lukewarm’s pharmacy, trying to convince that one Selk boy who doesn’t charge extra for two scoops in the floats that Grinky doesn’t have hands and needs to be fed like a baby.  Their pranks are neither clever nor tasteful.  However, for the glorious 15-minutes that they scream across the screen like a passing fire truck, not a single thought paces the cage of Riley’s mind, and what more could be asked of the likes of Grinky and Frunkus?
