I think it's time for us to say this, because where have we gone?
Witch's Archives is on an indefinite hiatus, I, Mod Golden, or Mod Cthulhu which you may know me from @/malaoftheday, have lost my 5 year hyperfixation on Cookie Run and Mod Purple has been out of the fandom for longer
What does this mean for the AU? The blog will remain until we get the motivation to try and work on it once again, but I find it unlikely as we have already moved on to another fixation (Roblox)
I don't really know what else to say, Earl Grey and Mala are still my little guys, so I'm not completely abandoning ship. It's just that we have lost interest in the games.
I'm sorry it has to end up like this when we've hyped up this AU so much.

[FILE-0001] THE SILENCE
The Silence is an Old One that takes the form of a doll named "Earl Grey Cookie". Their vessel seems to be made out of porcelain as if to avoid harming anyone with their incomprehensible appearance. Either way, they're still pretty dangerous with their enhanced senses and reality warping.
Their main weapons are the emptiness that is their face and their long sharp claws, which are made out of ■■■■■ and ■■■■■ sharpened to slice through prey.
They seem to have a fascination with cutting open the throats of its victims and tearing off limbs, only to replace them with handmade porcelain ones. Though it's unknown if the material is porcelain, I personally am not brave enough to approach its servants.
[0001-2] THE SILENCED
The Silenced are servants of the Silence, notably having half or most of their body replaced with porcelain, they do not look any different to Cookies, though it is unknown if they can mimic other species, such as Seaborns.
Silenced is a broad term. Those with a scar on their throat and a limb that looks fake aren't necessarily considered a Silenced to the Doll, but those who belong in its "family" are.
The Family is an unknown group of Cookies turned monsters by the Silence, it is unknown what their goal is, but it is best not to engage with any if spotted.
The most notable one is a Silenced called "Whipped Cream Cookie", it is unknown where he is now, but this particular Silenced isn't hostile and can be found watching fate run its course.
More info will be added when either I learn more or someone else learns more about them

[STORY ARC: The Stranger]
Yogurt Cream was pacing around the room, with his robe off, holding himself close while trying to think about a solution
"Two weeks... two.. weeks, that shouldn't be that bad, right?"
He looked at the blonde thief in the room, shuttering as his brain tried to force the memory back up, to try and identify what he truly saw.
"Well.. one of us has to go out there, but I don't want to risk losing you."
"Dear Prince, why must you worry so? I am no fool, nor am I blind to the dangerous, outside world. Whatever beast is out there, no matter.. what monstrosity it appears as, I intend to avoid it. A thief like me has yet to be caught, aren't I right?"
The blonde thief let off a playful smirk, though under it, their grin held that worry.
"Love, you looked at that thing, didn't you? I've heard.. many, many things, across all of my ventures. It's not good if you did, and it's not good if I had looked too long as well.."
They spoke now, a concerned tone crossing their voice as that mischievous glimmer wore off to reveal that almost upset, darker tone to their eyes.
"W...well.. well I don't know I had looked at it, it feels like static behind my eyes.. I feel like I did but my mind felt like it was stabbed with a sword."
Yogurt Cream sighed, looking at the thief before walking toward the tall mirror in his room to inspect his wounds from before he saw the beast.
Looking at himself and staring into his own eyes, he was trying to remember what happened before all this, before he saw the beast and even before his arm was marked by a black diamond that made the monsters flock to him.
'Why is my memory failing now?'
He thought to himself, before closing his eyes so he can turn to face the phantom thief.
"I swear I remember so much more but... it feels that my memory is failing."
"Oh, my dear... I wish I could help, but I am only a cookie, I cannot repair memories.. It worries me, I worry for you. What you speak of are common symptoms of something that has been called "Mind Burn". Something I had heard from others, those affected and unaffected."
They spoke gently, approaching the Prince and gently taking his hands. The gloves, which they wore, were soft to the touch and even comforting. One hand was let go, the Thief's palm caressing Yogurt Cream's face.
"Promise me this, will you? When you hear the sounds of the beasts outside, close your windows and make sure you cannot see through them. It may only worsen your already existing conditions..' They sighed, a soft smile crossing their face that seemed somber in tone. 'I don't want you to suffer more, it already hurt me enough when the diamonds appeared."
"I trust you, two weeks may be a long time but soon enough, the time will pass."
Yogurt Cream felt like he knew so much more, he only knew his city was in ruins, Lilac was gone, and all his troubles from the past just.. vanished.
"No.. there's more to this, I know there is! But.. the oldest memory I have of this, is the wounds on my chest.."
He looked up, trying to force the memories back up but it only hurt him to do so, his eyes watering as the pain returned with faint memories.
He knew there was more, but it was all a burning sting to try and remember it all.
"Roguefort... what happened before this? Do you have memories of me before I began showing symptoms? What did I do? Is this a mind destroying condition? What will happen to me?"
Yogurt grew worried, he thought that Lilac was loyal and would remain with him until death, now he only knows Lilac ran away despite this.
"I remember you before this... If I were to be honest, it wasn't flattering of you to say the least... I don't want to lose you, though. I will do everything in my power to keep you alive, you're too young of a prince to die so soon."
Roguefort responded with a half-hearted smile, their words being genuine rather than a white lie.
They were going to do whatever it takes, like anyone would for someone so close suffering with mind burn.
"I'm not asking for comfort, I'm asking if you know anything before this encounter!"
The Yogurcan snapped at them, he wanted answers, and he knew they would have them as they barely left his side once they fell in love, even during heists, they would come straight home to hide.
"Why would Lilac swear loyalty yet flee upon the news of extraterrestrial life? I'm.. I'm paranoid, aren't I?"
He sighed, sitting down in a heavily cushioned seat, wondering why this was all happening now.
"I'm going to assume I'm just paranoid."
"I'm just... paranoid.."
He sobbed, he all hurt, he had been betrayed by his royal bodyguard, threatened by assassins, now exposed to the sight of an entity known to destroy the minds of its victims
He couldn't help but pull at his own hair, sobbing even more as strands of pale purple fell to the ground.
The thief, sighing at the poor sight and soon to be declining condition of the prince, approached with open arms. Their smile had dropped to a neutral expression that still held concern, and as they wrapped their coat around the other, they simply held him close.
There weren't any words needing to be said, they simply combed the stressed hair of the prince with their fingers, repositioning it as if to get rid of the damage done.
"You are acting paranoid.. but it will get better. Lilac betrayed you, but you still have guards, you're still protected. I remember a beautiful prince who spent his days relaxing, as you were never much to rule with an ever seeing eye... I will make sure you are safe and sound now, even if I go far. I adore you, Yogurt Cream."
Roguefort spoke gently now, a soft tone as if to let Yogurt, and only Yogurt, hear their words; Like the world wasn't allowed in on their conversation.
Yogurt Cream nuzzled them, tearing up at the pressure applied to their head but decided to ignore it to show his affection. He could only worry about how fast he'll decline or how painful it would be, though right now, he could only focus on his partner, a sweet relief from his suffering.
"I love you, Roguefort.."
He whispered, thinking about all the things he should do before his condition got worse, despite the outside world being a threat to his sanity at the moment, trying not to worry but the feeling ate away at the back of his mind as he tried to find a comfortable spot to rest his head on them.
With the prince searching for a comfortable spot, Roguefort brushed away some of their own hair, leaving an open space for them to gently rest their head.
"I will be with you every step of the way."

[MINI ARC "In The Hands of Fate"]
Every Cookie knows the tale of the cookie who went through the 9 circles of hell out of pure curiosity
But what if it was real? Well, it is.
The 9th circle of hell exists but instead of containing a cake demon trapped in ice
It's a primordial horror held up in chains, one who lived long ago as a scholar with a fascination for relics, from the trash of one kingdom to skeletons of another.
They called them the History Eater, sometimes the Archivist depending on their form.
Held in the archives of the City of Wizards and occasionally visited by the new archivist there, who's been watching them for years and years.
Today was like the rest, a common visit to observe any changes in the surroundings, and in the beast itself. The ghastly figure bound by chains to be forever bound.
The History Eater was always noted down as being dormant, a figure that seems to both sleep eternally and yet have.. an aura of a gaze, something that would leave chills down a normal cookie's spine, if they weren't mindburnt upon sight.
Yet, as the New Archivist's eyes turned away in trust of it remaining still, the chains rattled with a deathly echo, cascading down every corridor of the Archives.
And they looked back, a witness to the slumbering fiend's awakening.. still bound, but in a loop of weak, subtle thrashes in hopes of unbinding, like an insect crawling from its cocoon..
But there was no cocoon to crawl forth from.
The sounds of horror it produced as the creature thrashed around, what had awoken them? Why now? The History Eater shouldn't of awoken now! Did the New Archivist need to get someone to help? Perhaps someone more experienced.. like their mother.
The monstrosity roared as they struggled to get free, getting one claw out and using that to cut off their false cocoon.
Tumblr media
"What have the cookies done to me while I slept?!"
They hissed as they pulled the rest of the chains off, fixing their antique outfit along with their luxurious long hair, only to realize that they still had more chains on them.
"WHERE IS BLUEBERRY PIE?!"
The New Archivist backed up, startled in such a way that revealed even their own flaws before promptly hiding them again.. No, fear is not what should be shown in response to the entity, just firm words.
"Archivist Blueberry Pie has entrusted me to the duties of- of watching over you!"
They spoke their voice quivering as they realized just how underprepared they were for this scenario, seeing how the chains were so easily manipulated to fit their form.
"You have been left undisturbed expect for being bound, We have not brought it upon ourselves to remove what has been previously on your being!"
The distance between the two wasn't far, but they only hoped it was far enough for the chains to prevent them from reaching out, and even if they were.. all this noise was sure to draw some attention.
"Ease your anger and panic, for we've wrought nothing upon your form besides an attempt to keep you still!"
Again, their voice quivered, they feared making it worse, and what had awakened the beast was a question without an answer, just a feeling of dread hovering over their being.
The towering entity looked down at the small archivist, there was obviously a mask chained onto their face to prevent extreme mindburn, two masks even.
"Are you her son I've heard her talk about every so often?"
They leaned down to lift up their chin using their claw to look at the New Archivist
Tumblr media
"You've grown a lot, even got the traits of both parents."
They stood back up and looked around the archives, wondering why everything was so different.
"AND WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO MY ARCHIVES?!"
They were enraged by the new age of Cookies, little pests who ruin everything they created, they created them and this is how they're repaid?!
The New Archivist flinched to the yelling, the features showing again as an instinct of fear.. but they didn't hide this time, The History Eater already knew who they were.
"T-The Archives, they have been updated, more books spread across all sections to record what has changed since your last awakening. The layout is different, yes, but all information detailed is still the same!"
A smell of aged paper mixed with fresh leather binds, faint smoke of candles but also the hum of distant lights. It was, indeed, updated to better withstand the constant influx of knowledge, but the aged remnants of the Archives also remained, an atmosphere that could shift at any time.
"We-We promise you, there has been no negative downgrades to the infrastructure of this building."
They tried to keep a calm tone now, tail flicking as they looked up to the large entity, feeling how the once previous claw never left a scratch, or even imprint on their skin..
"Is Blueberry Pie even still around, has her amortality failed her? Is my amortality going to fail me?"
They seem to freak out, forgetting that they're a primordial horror who's been manipulating doughmanity since they were only a thought in the Witches' mind.
"What had happened to me? Why am I so... different?! Is this a cookie form I took hold of?!"
The History Eater seemed to be confused, the mask must of done something to block their mind of knowing all up until this point, how they were wondering how they became a cookie after so many years of being chained up inside their own domain, unable to think, unable to see, unable to hear, only communicating through dreams that made cookies go insane.
"Blueberry Pie still stands strong, so fear not for her being! She has simply entrusted me for now as she takes care of other business away from your containment."
The New Archivist thankfully kept a calm tone, noticing the sudden activity that the History Eater began to use. Their panicked state of confusion from being in a slumber for so long gave them no knowledge of what had happened to their being..
"As for you taking a cookie form, I have no answers for that question, as even I know not of how such a thing can occur!"
"But for now.. you're awake, something that wasn't expected for a while. I... I am not used to such presence being out of dormancy, but I must remain to keep watch. Hopefully, from how much you request of her, mother will arrive soon to ease your troubles.."
They spoke softly towards the end, as if forgetting that the entity already knew of the relationship between the New Archivist and Blueberry Pie.
"Do you happen to have another parent, like a mother, a father, perhaps something like me? I know you're biologically a mess but is your biological parent gone?"
The History Eater was never as threatening as the tales said, they were curious but their curiosity usually lead to madness.
"I know you've gotten the Archivist side of your mother, my touch would of stung you, you're quite small for an Archivist too."
"But enough questions, I wonder if the others awoken from their dreams."
"I-I do have a father, but they are not here as of now. It would probably click once you meet them as to how the other half of me came to be..."
Their words drifted off, only to snap back once the History Eater spoke of other entities, a slight shift in their movement as they thought about it... before it clicked.
"So then, you must be late to the party? The other's have been active for some time now."
"I know I'm late, you try being in an eternal dream, you freak of nature!"
A tap on the New Archivist's head, knowing that they're all freaks of nature in the Archives.
"So what is new about this world, Archivist?"
They began to walk through the library of the Archives first, looking at the new tomes that have been added in, ones of varying knowledge, from the biologically of cakehounds to the omnipresent nature of the primordial horrors.
The New Archivist followed after the entity, the horn on their head lightly sparking from the touch before seeming to fade off into their hair. Their steps, unlike before, sounded more like clicking rather than a dull thump of normal shoes.
"More Entities have been uncovered, a new company has been established in hopes of research, The Predator was caught within a scuffle after attacking an offspring of a devil, losing 9 wings in the attack.."
They trailed on, describing everything they had learned of since the last awakening, making sure that the History Eater could know of it all, since they were The Archivist entity.
Everything gave off an echo in such a large, but quiet building. Their voices were the only thing that radiated out, bouncing back fainter and fainter. Books lined every shelf, the wood a beautiful dark shade from age. They seemed undisturbed except for being dusted off.. and checked every so often.
"And The Ever Reaching has had increasing unrest from their territory due to their actions against the people of The Silence."
"First of all, I'm going to kill the Ever Reaching, they think that enslaving cookies to do their dirty work is all they have to do? No! They've done this since the Fall of the Saint and it's getting worse for them!"
"Just.. what else happened while I was trapped in my dream? I haven't been awake since the Flower of White Flesh still had her cookie form solidified, the five heroes were still together and were a symbol of unity."
"It's unfortunate, but ever since the Flower of White Flesh had gone missing.. every ancient has deteriorated. Dark Cacao is no longer the same king he once was, now a creature of anger and despair. ■■■■■■■■■■ is now one with a draconic war lord, ■■■■ ■■■■■■■ has since remained amongst the castle in the sky, and any who come in contact are never heard from again, and ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■.. is dormant."
it could be imagined vividly now, The New Archivist going into detail of the ancients, and soon, even other entities. It seemed to last for so long, and one could wonder about how much knowledge was truly withheld inside such a novice.
"By now, things are growing more tense. Blueberry Pie, though not one to be involved with such problems.. is suspecting that sooner or later, things are going to turn south."
"Well maybe if she wasn't so curious, this mess wouldn't of happened! just.. she caused this entire thing to happen, and just to fix this, I will make the Metamorphosis happen."
The History Eater kept walking through the archives, rushing over to the relic section of it, chains clanking as they ran, it's shocking they can even run in that antique dress with that corset too.
"I'm saying that if she never wanted to know the truth, I wouldn't be here in a cookie form!"
"We all learn the truth eventually, don't we? It's.. inevitable, if I'm using that right. We can't hide things forever, as eventually, the truth will come out, even if it means years after things have passed on."
They commented, though they felt some sort of curiosity, especially towards the entity known as the Flower of White Flesh.
"May I ask why you seem so.. upset over her? What had she done to spur a response like that?"
"Well first of all, she's already caused a witch gone rogue to terrorize her friends once, and now this?! She's ruining everything! Maybe I'm just upset because my nap was disturbed, I should go back to the chains, but everything is so new, what is this technology? Why is it all so bright? The smell of jam no longer being a thing.."
"Cinny baby! where have you gone?"
The Old Archivist called out, along with the sound of clicking.
"Oh there she is-"
The History Eater stared at the other biological parent of the New Archivist, a unicorn of pastel and cream that was tall like Blueberry Pie, monstrous yet gentle.
"You're a mix of Archivist and Archive Creature, I'm not even shocked at this point."
"Cinnamon! What have you done?!"
Blueberry Pie ran over to grab her son away from the primordial horror, almost seeming like she was gliding across the floor, looking up at the History Eater.

[MINI ARC "Heartfelt Fancy"]
As the age of Cookies became permanent and the entities adapted to their curiosity, there was one entity who preferred the silence of nothingness.
This entity being called The Silence, they always had the form of a doll who was formerly known as Earl Grey Cookie, and well, turns out this entity still kept habits from their false identity.
Wandering through the doll house known as the Grandmaster Hotel, he used strings instead of spirits, rearranging things to fit his idea, but he was unknowing of the day.
Looking over at his vessels and smiling, knowing that they accepted this life, not forced to live this way.
One being a porcelain doll like him, equipped with armor that covered one arm, and the other being decorated in gold patterns.
And the other vessel being none other than Whipped Cream Cookie, who grew comfortable to this lifestyle.
Tumblr media
The first Vessel turned to the Silence, their eyes a constant expression of boredom, but within, they still showed life. They knew of the day, and that glimmer of knowledge twinkled in their eyes. Their face didn't change much, but a subtle smile could be seen as they reciprocated that gentleness, approaching the Doll.
They had a "scarf" around their neck as usual, something to hide the commonality of all Silenced, a scar on their throats. With this in mind, they usually spoke through another form of communication, sign language.
'How have you been so far?' The vessel asked, hands moving fluidly as if they were not porcelain at all, but dough like the rest.
'I've been well, thank you.' The Silence replied, always being gentle with theit vessels.
But something else caught his interest, the tiny pitter patter of porcelain feet running across the floor of the hotel, not too loud yet not too quiet.
The two dolls were a duo of opposites, ones that Earl Grey adored for years.. until that incident long ago..
Earl Grey remembered the jam on his hands as he brutally stabbed out their throats, not wanting to hear them say another word, how they spoke so normally after murdering the duo of opposites.
But the twins didn't remember that part, splitting up from each other to talk to a vessel, the one in white jumping up and down to get the attention of the armored vessel while the one in black respectfully tugged the sleeve of the former ballerino vessel.
The armored vessel turned to the Doll of White, one arm carefully lifting them up as if to say 'I'm here to listen', a brute with a cautious side. They knew what would make Earl nervous, and so they'd avoid it, the hefty arm acting like a seat for the opposing twins..
'What may it be?' They asked with their free hand, watching for the response of the twin carefully sat upon their arm, making sure that they couldn't lean far enough in either way to fall. They weren't as durable, the twins were still children... still fragile.
The vessel remembered the first time learning of the two, how Earl became vulnerable in their presence.. and they took the time to comfort the grieving parent, becoming close to such a family.. So lively, but yet a memory. They didn't let it ruin the mood.
The Doll in White whispered to the armored brute, about how it was the birthday of the hotelier and they wanted to make it special.
Whipped Cream leaned down to listen to Doll in Black, being told the same thing.
It seems like the twins remembered such an important day but not the Silence himself.
Whipped Cream turned to look at the other vessel and smiled, using his thumb to point towards the hallway with the kitchen, it seems like they have a plan already set up.
And the Doll in Black nodded, knowing this plan very well without even needing to hear it.
The Vessel nodded, turning their back to Earl before placing down the Doll in White, telling them 'Keep Earl busy' before letting them free.
Walking over to the Ballerino in wait for the next step of the special plan, the vessel only looked back for a moment before signing, keeping their hands out of Earl's sight. 'It is quite a shock for him not to remember, but this is what will make the day a special surprise.'
Their drab eyes held an unusual playfulness that rarely, if ever, showed. It was only accented by the fact that facial expressions were not easy to make now with porcelain dough.
'I have requested Pawn White to keep him busy as we set up. I am ready for the next step whenever you are.'
'I think I have the knowledge to bake him a cake, I've done this for Dark Choco many times.'
Pawn Black looked at them, wondering if they should go help Pawn White or help the vessels with the cake, they decided to help out with distracting Earl Grey so the surprise isn't spoiled, a good old game of Chess should do the thing!
Whipped Cream walked towards the kitchen, flicking on the lights and wondering if they already had the ingredients.. checking the fridge, cabinets, finding everything they needed
'Thank Mille we had the ingredients... I was worried we might have to resort to using jam as a substitute..'
A joke knowing how some entities prefer jam over everything else, especially predatory ones.
There was some semblance of a laugh, exhales that were sharp but lighthearted, yet without a sound.
'All we need to do is follow a recipe, yes?'
They asked, but it was more rhetorical as they went to go through a box of recipe cards, eventually pulling out the few that related with Whipped Cream's idea, a cake. Depending on the ingredients available, they all could be done, but the armored vessel commented that 'One cake flavor should be enough for a pleasant surprise.'
The Vessel, in fact, had little to no knowledge of baking, but were willing to help with measuring ingredients, hopefully not letting their heavy handedness get things messy.. but getting messy was part of the fun of making things, like a treat for a fatherly figure.
'He's sure to be busy now, so most likely he'd pay no mind to us being in here for some time.'
And the two vessels got to work, making sure to be careful with the ingredients and such..
Making a mess in the process but that doesn't matter when there's fun involved! Making a simple milk cake just for a simple man wanting to live a simple life while being a primordial god himself.
Whipped Cream put the cake in the oven and set it to the appropriate time.
'Now what do we do?'
The ballerino wonders, they couldn't make icing now, and they had a limited time to do such a thing, sending him into a panic.
'Calm yourself, Whipped Cream. We could make a simple frosting while the cake bakes. If we need to speed up the cooling process, we let the cake sit in the fridge before icing it. Hopefully we are given enough time, we've spent plenty getting started.'
The armored vessel commented, searching the notes again before finding an icing recipe, one that wasn't as elaborate as making a cake.
'If we get this done in time, it will be a nice touch. I believe in us, and the Chess Chocos are hopefully making sure he is to not intrude on our plan.'
'Right.. what type of icing would he enjoy? Nothing too fancy for him..'
Whipped Cream though to himself, thinking of a possible solution 'What about a simple whipped cream one?' The ballerino knew how versatile their main ingredient could be, and knew how to make the fluffiest one could ever imagine.
Getting out the ingredients, a bowl, and a whisk..
'That sounds like a rather great idea. It's not too heavy and is simple, fitting for the theme of the cake. Along with that, it isn't easy to melt from heat.'
They watched curiously, but they also watched for the cake in the oven, just to make sure nothing would burn, and that they'd be able to take the cake out in time.
The ballerino got to work, whisking away at the cream until it got very fluffy.
And the oven beeped, which made the ballerino panic, turning the timer off quicker than a shooting star across the City of Wizards.
'Quick! Get the cake out!'
Reacting just as quickly, The Vessel opened the oven carefully and grabbed the cake pan with their bare hands, completely unphased due to their dough no longer being.. well, dough. The cake was soon placed upon the stovetop as they closed up the oven, turning off the heat.
'I did not catch the timer in time, but it should hopefully be fine.'
They signed, but they weren't optimistic due to Earl's very sensitive hearing... Hell, the Doll could hear anyone from a ways away once they were in The Hall, so a timer beeping would be extremely obvious.. Now, they just decided to use their frame to hide the cake, just in case.
'Hopefully.'
But it was too late, the Silence was already approaching, but the voices of the dolls were also heard, pulling him back to their game of chess, buying them more time to get the cake ready.
'Thank Mille for those children being insistent on finishing that chess game, I thought we were going to get caught..'
Whipped Cream offered the whisk to the other vessel as a treat, it's not like it'll be used again!
'Doesn't time move faster for him? So we should be able to finish this cake quickly for us Cookies!'
'Thank Mille indeed.'
They signed before taking the offering of the whisk, trying out the frosting with a smile, all the while signing on one hand.
Tumblr media
'We should be able to finish in time for him. After all, he does not even remember his birthday, so any gift is still worth the effort we put in. Lets get it done and surprise him.'
It was strange, but some of the whipped cream frosting was already off the whisk, the vessel wiping away any remnants from their face. It was light, it was simple, it was perfect for the surprise cake. Of course, despite the whisk in hand, they were willing to help demould the cake and get it ready for topping.
'Can you demold it? I'm not porcelain like you..'
He signed, getting a spatula for the icing, not noticing the fact that the icing on the whisk disappeared while in the armored vessel's possession.
'Do we need any fancy colored icing for decorations? Or any fruits, I know he likes fruits.. or tolerates them... I'm one of the ones he tolerates.'
Holding the whisk in their mouth, despite the normally still face, they slid the cake out of the mould and put it upon a plate, carefully carrying it over to where Whipped Cream was.
Once placed down, their hand once again held the now almost clean whisk, just a little bit remaining.
'I believe that some strawberries would be just fine for his cake. Once again, it's been simple so far, and it's just a small celebration within the hotel.'
They walked off for a moment, carefully placing the whisk within the sink before walking back over to the other vessel.
'As for tolerating fruits? You aren't alone.'
They joked, the clear spirit showing in their eyes.
'Isn't his sibling a massive fruit too? The one in the yellow and turquoise outfit.. seen them a couple times, knew it instantly.'
Whipped Cream laughed, of course no sound came out but it was still satisfying to do it.
Using the spatula to put the icing on the cake and to make it look fancy.
'Now where are the strawberries?... shouldn't we have cut it in half, put icing and strawberries in the middle, then frosted it?-
Whipped Cream began to overthink, what if the Silence doesn't like it?!
But the other Vessel didn't give an exact answer, already getting out strawberries from the fridge and trying to carefully slice them. Some were much thicker than others, but they were trying, not exactly one to use fine details.
Looking over at Whipped, they offered one of the less even slices of strawberry, wanting him to simply calm down.. They're doing it as a surprise, it's the thought that counts, rather than presentation.
Whipped held the strawberry, unsure what to do with it, everything was just overwhelming him despite this lifestyle being the most comfortable one he had yet.. he just stared at it wondering..
'What do you want me to do with this?'
He was still panicked but he was slowly calming down physically..
'Eat it. It's too thick of a slice.'
In the meantime, they started putting on the better slices on the top of the cake, making sure they were even enough. Despite such a heavy hand, they managed to not make it look bad, placing down the last slices standing in the middle of the entire dessert.
'I think this looks plenty nice enough. Should we tell the Chess Chocos?'
The ballerino ate the strawberry then nodded, smiling as he went to tell the twins before signing to the other vessel to make some tea for the entity too.
As the ballerino went to check on the group, being careful not to disturb the chess match.
'Can I borrow the Chess Chocos for a moment?'
Whipped signed to Earl Grey, to which he nodded, the twins hopping down from their chairs to follow the ballerino back to the kitchen.
The armored Vessel was making some tea like requested, getting some water to boil.. though the noise may be irritating. Such a silent place rarely had loud noise, and doing it twice in a day was something fun to deal with.. but it was going to be worth it, their expression stuck in a constantly smile due to the porcelain face.
'Are you three ready? Once the tea is done, we surprise him. It will be great.'
The twins nodded along with the ballerino, making sure that the hotelier won't be suspicious by the loud noises..
Preparing some plates to bring out into the room, and watching the water..
'Is everything ready?'
He was ready to trust the twins with the plates, while he'll carry the cake in.
And just before the kettle began to whistle, they poured out the hot water into cups and placed the available tea bags into the cups. Ready to carefully take the tray to the table, they smiled.. unable to use their hands currently.
The armored vessel led the 'charge' to the table, bringing out the still steeping tea ahead of the rest, and making sure that Earl wasn't in sight of the surprise.
A table to set up, and a party to hold.. all for the Primordial God's birthday. It was a sweet thing.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY EARL GREY COOKIE.

[STORY ARC 2 "The Stranger."]
A quiet day in the office of Sugar Cane sanctuary, filled with less than excited murmurs as nothing seemed to be happening... No entity sightings, no calls for help, nothing. The wintry seasons brought a slow, snail like crawl to any missions, and one cookie was tired of it. With their hands behind their head, they leaned with with a tired yawn- only to freeze in place as the phone at their table rang, a hand moving quickly to answer as other employees gathered around.
"You have reached Sugarcane Sanctuary, what is being requested of our services?"
They spoke with a bright tone, almost like someone who was too eager for this moment. In turn, they waited for a response, hopeful to actually have something new to do.
A panicked tone from the caller.
"There's something outside my palace! And it wants to get me!"
The caller screamed, sobbing.
"I know there's something out there! I saw it!"
Whoever this caller was, they were distressed, possibly even in danger by one of the creatures.
"Please! This place is the only thing I know that has a chance of helping me!"
"Calm down, sir, can you hide somewhere away from this creature?" They questioned, concern littering their voice as the bright tone dropped to serious. The word 'palace' rang quite a bell, as not many used that term unless they were royalty..
Unless they were a prince. That was what rang in the employees head as they remained on the line, ready to issue the next suggestion to hide away from the beast.
"I-I'm trying to get away from any windows, what if it follows me in!? What if I'm doomed!?"
"Lock the door if you can. Are you able to identify what it was that was after you?" Another question, trying not to push the caller into more panic. They rubbed their temple slightly, eyes trained on a computer as they began to type down the scenario... call #4196 since the first call of the entities..
"It had many blue eyes! I only saw a flash of its body, it looked like a candy peacock but golden!"
The caller seemed to be able to identify the thing, which is concerning because they could be mindburnt.
"I haven't looked at it long enough, it just looked like a bird with many blue eyes!"
"A bird with many blue eyes.." They wrote down, looking back at other employees with worry as they asked for any reports of such a creature. Returning to the phone, they stared intently at the number once more, writing down the digits. "Is there anything els-"
"Yogurt? Where are you!?"
A voice, coming from the caller's side.. and it wasn't the caller's voice either.
"Are you alright, dear Prince!?"
The caller, now confirmed to be Yogurt Cream Cookie, looked over, still holding the phone
"Yes? What do you need?"
Yogurt Cream Cookie sounded fearful but calmed down at the voice.. he recognized it.
"I'm just on the phone with Sugarcane Sanctuary... I saw one of the creatures outside, I'll be there in a moment!"
Yogurt Cream tried to nervously laugh it off
"I guess they heard me, don't worry!"
"I saw that thing too! I snuck in another way to avoid grabbing its attention. Are you okay, my dear?" The voice asked, worried and concerned as it grew closer.. becoming like static on the line.
"Prince Yogurt, the line's going fuzzy, are you able to find somewhere clearer to communicate?" the employee requested, almost relieved to hear the other voice on the line. They continued to anxiously wait, hoping that the prince did not suffer any injuries due to seeing the entity from outside..
"No, sorry, I don't really have a cordless phone here, also I'm sorry dear that I left you outside.."
Yogurt Cream kept looking at the cookie who approached, having calmed down now.
"I am stuck in my room, the curtains on my window are closed to avoid looking at the creature."
They turned away for a moment before continuing to look at the cookie who approached, pulling the phone away so the Sugarcane employee couldn't hear.
"How the hell did you get in despite me closing the balcony, my windows, and without the guards noticing?"
"Don't you know of my absolutely amazing sneaking skills? You must not forget that I am able to sneak in and out of anywhere without an ounce of detection! Besides, I sneaked in to make sure you were okay, especially with that THING outside."
They spoke, appearing in the doorway with that same expression on their face. Their hair flowed down their back, shifting as they tilted their head and entered the room.
"I caught only a glimpse myself.. It.. I don't know, it looked like gold, but it was huge!"
"I saw that thing! It had many eyes and it kinda hurt to look at it.."
It had been confirmed, the prince stared at it too long, Yogurt Cream pulled the phone back up to his ear
"Ah, sorry about that! My precious snuck in and wanted to see if I was okay, I apologize if it concerned you!"
He seems to be calmer now which made the job easier to do, especially with an entity like this.
Yogurt Cream just waited for a response, unknowing of the static on the other side.
"I really hope someone is able to do something about this.. maybe I'm seeing things? I don't know I have a headache now.."
"You have a headache after looking at the entity?.. Oh dear. Don't panic about it, just find something to get rid of the headache for now." The employee knew the worst had occurred, writing it down with a heavy hand. Soon, another employee was waved over to put down this report of mind burn...
"Avoid any and all sightings of this entity, it may bring back that headache and make it much worse."
"What did they say, love?" They asked, curious of who was on the line.. which was no longer staticky.
"They told me to avoid any and all sights of the entity as it may bring the headache back or worse.. my love, can you get me some pain medicine for the headache, please?"
Yogurt Cream sighed, it was only a small one, he should be fine, but he didn't like pain in the slightest.
"Should I be concerned? What will happen after this? I don't want to witness my city in trouble because of some bird!"
"What's the earliest you can get a crew out here? Anyone to help solve this?!"
The cookie left the room, the employee on the line nodding.
"I can talk to our department manager, but I think it may be a few weeks.. I'm sorry that it may be a while, but we have so many reports and so little people."
"Dammit... well, I'll wait, goodbye."
And he finally hung up, sighing once again.
"Am I really going insane? What is happening?"
"I don't know, love.. but if you weren't the only one, it isn't you going insane."

[EXCERPT FROM LOCAL NEWS n.005]
"Later that night, we found Eggnog Cookie's frozen corpse in Juneberry Forest, mutilated and distorted.
Tiramisu was the only witnesss with him who claims that there's a disease that spreads through the snow which caused this horrific distortion.
Scientists say that this is true and that Juneberry Forest will be closed off until the snow melts or everything is sanitized."

[MINI ARC 2 - The Holiday Cheer]
[SCENE 2]
The waves gently crashed against the wooden dock on a clouded night, the fog settled over the area like a blanket that never touched the ground. Upon this dock was a small shack, completely blocked of light inside as something.. no, someone, sat inside.
Through the dense cloudcover, a brig pierced the fog like a sword, cutting through as it began to steer towards the port of the republic. The medium-sized ship, hailed for the single strange crewmate, was soon to dock, two glowing orange eyes peering through the mist as it drew closer and closer.
'BAM!', A figure landed on the wooden structure, rope in hand as they tied it to the dockline's studs, a hefty sigh coming out as they finished up with a difficult knot. Once completed, they climbed back up to retrieve an item, the silence causing their heavy boots to sound like distance drumming.
Items in hand, they climbed down once more, and approached the shaded dwelling of a cookie.
The shaded cookie was watching them before backing away, they were not the type to be social, but this was a different occasion, their glowing eyes scanning the cookie before disappearing for a moment, a slow blink to show that they trusted them.
"You're back so soon."
The glowing eyes has a raspy voice, one a cookie usually wouldn't have unless they were monstrous or even undead, it wasn't the case for this cookie.
"I'm surprisssed to see you without that witch pulling you aside, what did you bring home this time?"
"Thought you'd like something fresher than whatever ends washed up around here. Plenty of fish for the time being."
The figure stood proudly with their catch, one hand with the fish and the other on their hip, eventually crouching down to place it down. Their mustached face, though dry, reflected the orange glow of the eyes.
"Best thing I caught from out there was something I'd usually find other ships avoiding for how tough they are; Got it caught real easy though, so it should be a good meal. How was the dock while I was away?"
They asked, grabbing out a crude knife that was purposely dinged up to act as a scale remover. The catch had already been knocked out and subsequently terminated, prepared for any sort of cooking.
"The dock has been free of Pearl Legion soldiers, though it feels like they're all clones with no real soul."
The cookie stepped closer, revealing that they're a skinny, monstrous cookie, with discoloration in their dough and scales, their eyes were still very intimidating as they looked like a predatory animal's who out to hunt, they brushed their messy hair away from the rest of their face, even their hair was weird, a mix of dark turquoise, green, with an accent of orange and lavender.
"Did you make sure the fish wasn't poisonoussss? Oh wait, we're resistant to such toxinsss."
"Of course I made sure it wasn't, not like it matters.. just gives it a better taste when it's not poisonous."
The mustached seaborn looked up, scraping off the scales of the fish freely without looking. Eventually, he'd flip it over and do the same thing to the other side, ready to get it cooking.
"Any other problems outside the dock? Any buggers from that high n' mighty place?"
They asked, a bitter tone to their voice in the end.. Of course they were salty about it, though it had been years since. They wouldn't get over it anytime soon, especially with a threat on both sides. There was a sigh in the end, shoulders lowering.
"None of the soldiers dare to wander down herrreee... but outside of the dock? I've heard that the witch wants to pass a new law that has that creature investigate ships that enter and leave port... preventing the escape of many of usssss.."
The cookie was saddened at the idea of such a thing, knowing that thing can sense the oddities in nearly anything, knowing that their brothers, sisters, and siblings of slime scales are stuck between a power hungry ruler or the filth of the lower city.
"I wish to run away at sssome point, away from her."
"Maybe, once our home is safe enough.. we can run away. Hell, it wouldn't be that bad to get a breath of fresh air from his place. Though I may love it, this 'home' isn't much more than a prison, and a grave reminder of exile.."
He soon went to look for any source of heat, in order to cook the catch he had just primed.
"But once we're out of here, we'll be more free than flying fish. It'd be fantastic with you and me on the open seas, doing what we do best and stopping wherever's open to our ship. I think that's the best part of the wait, knowing it'll be worth it when your kind is safe.."
And once found, the fish was set to grill, the seaborn sitting beside and looking at the one with a disfigured appearance. He saw nothing bad to it, and patted the 'seat' nearby if they wished to lean on him.
The disfigured seaborn took the opportunity to sit beside himself, after all, they were close friends with the captain anyways.
"Hey Caviar... do you think there's something for us once we get out of this witch's disease cauldron?"
The seaborn removed their mask, revealing something that borders uncanny monstrosity and normal cookie appearance.
"Even though I lost the crew of Moonlight's Arrow, I still have you... and whatever's left of fhe Salty Shark.."
"Yeah, I believe there's a bright future away from this republic, this dock... this part of the sea. The unknown calls to us, Blight.."
They looked at the other, not minding such a horrid face.
"All we have to do is sail to meet it."

[MINI ARC 2 - The Holiday Cheer]
[SCENE 1]
"Hoohoo... have you heard anything from your brother?.."
Kiwi took a moment before realizing..
"Oh Herb? Yeah.. about that, mama.."
It was gonna hurt him to tell her the truth of the disappearances, but he had to do it so she wouldn't be left wondering.
"Mama, he's missing, Sugarcane is trying to find him but it hasn't been well.."
"What a shame. I saw some sort of potential in that kid of yours.. not that I'd adopt anything that young into my posse."
"Aunt Enchantress, it isn't a joking matter, he really is missing. None of us have gotten any leads on him or some other prominent figures in our city, so we're left in the dark."
"Hoo.. my poor son.."
Though, something else was coming to change the holiday drear, a heavier crunch through the snow followed by softer steps, a kid's chatter and a grown cookie's response. It was something that could easily be picked up by those who's hearing was improved.
Matcha looked over to the door and headed over, opening to look outside for the cookies
"Hoohoo! I hear you!..."
"Hey mom!"
She looked towards the voice, a teen with blue hair that was now lighter as it was frosted over, wearing a light blue and pink jacket who ran over to hug her
"Hoo! Soda!.."
And she looked up again to see a gentleman of light pink, his face accented with a beard and scars
"And hello.. darling!"
"Dad made me wear this jacket, I don't think it's too cold!"
"Hehe... better safe than sorry."
"Hello, dear. How are you holding up so far?"
The older gentleman approached, the beard dusted with snow as he went for a hug, barely a light jacket over his body. Of course, he didn't feel all that cold, used to the salty frigid sprays of the sea. His tired eyes never showed much behind their neutral expression, but yet, the slight upturn of his lips let them glow in the light of the home. Looking over her shoulder, he saw the biker head outside, excited to see the fisherman once more.
"Pops! Suds!"
Kiwi called with glee, Dark Enchantress staring outside for a moment or two before going back inside. She wasn't going to deal with this like the rest of the family.
"How's the sea?... hehe.."
"It's amazing! Well.. besides the scary fish.. but I met a fish cookie, their name was Peppermint and they had these cool horns that looked like candy but they're really shy, but we also saw another cookie scare off the sea monster!"
"Hoo?.. did you get the name of that cookie?.."
"No but dad said their name was Captain Caviar, and he's the toughest cookie of the seas!"
Matcha always loved hearing the stories from the seas, especially since all of her children were either Seaborn or just like her... a byproduct of the horrors, deep down she wished to search for Herb on her own but she couldn't risk it, because she knew stronger forces were at play.
"Woah! You saw someone chase off a sea monster!? That's wicked! Was it a big monster?"
Kiwi asked, eyes sparkling as "Suds" nodded, hair frozen in place as Salt ushered everyone to the house.
"Come on, everyone. Inside before we get our doughs too cold."
"Pops!- Oh, Alright. I wasn't minding it that much!"
"Me either!"
Both boys commented, only for a laugh from the older of the two. The house felt brighter with each member inside, a jolly party of cookies with all sorts of adaptations. The brothers sat with each other, telling stories of their times apart, while Salt sat with his wife, happy to be together again as the night went on with glee.

[MINI ARC 2 - The Holiday Cheer]
[SCENE 1]
It was a wintery night, the finest layer of white coating all where it could reach. Spreading far and wide, a grand forest even felt its gentle touch.
A simple cabin, encased in roots, stood warmly against the cold air, the sound of boots crunching through fallen leaves and freshly laid snow. Their body was covered in a coat with a logo, one that represented where they were housed for now.. but with the season, they came to visit another place. A rap-rap-rap on the door, and a familiar voice.
"Mom? You there?"
They questioned, only for someone else to open the door.. one with red eyes and villainous horns.
"Oh, Kiwi. Your mother is inside, currently attending to your room."
"Hi Aunt! Sorry I got here so late, y'know travel and all.."
"-Yes yes, now get inside."
With the drag of a gloved hand, the biker was pulled inside by the former evil of Earthbread, who now took her time to enjoy luxury. The home was decorated softly with elements of holiday cheer, a warm smell of hot cocoa wafting through the abode, drawing Kiwi's attention. He missed home, and he was so glad to be back.
Kiwi's mother was none other than the messed up one of the evil sisters, Matcha Cookie, who was affected by the Fall but didn't get much horror from it, no, instead she was improved by it.
The tall plant covered and cloaked cookie exited Kiwi's room and saw him standing there.
"Hoohoo!... my son!.. you came home!"
She was excited to see him, even if it could only be shown by the eye that shines through the shadows shrouding her face, she was intimidating to those who encounter her in the dark but in reality, she's sweeter than a magical sugar cube!
Matcha rushed over to hug him, grabbing onto him so tightly that if his dough and sugar bones were a roll cake tree, they would be shattered into splinters.
"GH- M-Mom, a L-Little Less?-"
"He's asking you to tone down the hug, Matcha."
Dark Enchantress commented, the cloaked female easing her grip as she held him close, a happy smile to her face.
"Hoo... It's been some.. time, my child!"
"I was going to be here sooner, but we had a lot happen at Sugarcane, so there wasn't much time.. but now I'm here! I'm really glad to see you again!"
Matcha finally released after being satisfied with the hug, holding her son's hand in her own. The so called Aunt rolled her eyes at this, though, and went to grab the cocoa for the family to share.
"A bit more pressure and you would have snapped him like a twig. Now, how about we cut it with that lovey dovey family stuff and just relax with some of this... uh, drink."
"Hoo... this stuff is hot cocoa, Enchantress!... hehe.. Kiwi and Herb.. used to always beg me for it!.. every winter.. hoohoo!"
Matcha was smiling despite everything going on.. she was happy to help her sister get used to a normal life after her days of evil.. even trying to help her find her old army of evil.
"How's life? Hoo!... Sugarcane seems tough.."
"It is, Mom, but it's so worth it! I mean, we helped this really big dude find a missing person, and now we're even helping a prince, isn't that incredible!?"
Kiwi spoke, his eyes glittering with excitement as he spoke. Rambling on and on, he would pick up even small details and talk about them, all in a way to help his mother catch up with lost time. Dark Enchantress would listen too, curious at some points as Kiwi continued to talk his lungs dry of air. Her eyes watched subtly as she drank some of the so called cocoa, enjoying the atmosphere.. for once.
"So, seems like you've been up to a lot, Biker boy. Glad to see you're finding yourself in good company."
"Oh boy, I definitely am! I even made friends with someone where named Seaweed; They're a seaborn, and they seemed to be really happy too when they found out I'm part seaborn!"
"Reminds me that your father still needs to attend this gathering, he'll be here shortly."
"Hoo!... thanks for reminding me.."

A day like every other. No problems, no hazards, just- A phone ringing? I walked over, curious, but quickly noticing the number.. I picked up.
"Dark Choco? Are you alright?"
"Yes, Detective. I'm fine. This place is the same as usual, but I wanted to check in. Is there anything new?"
"Well, yes, just a tribal leader who's dealing with some other entities, but not much more."
"That's nice to hear... I've sent something to your email, I'd like you to view it.-"
And before I could get a response, he hung up... In response to his request, I looked at my emails and saw what he had left.
What an odd fellow.
Tumblr media
Turns out, he left us a reference. It's a good change from the horrible images we've been sent before, some of which still get me scratching my head. A breath of fresh air if I had ever seen one.

"Hi there! D- Almond let me use a camera, so now I'm gonna do something that my dad does! I'm gonna do!- uh, drumroll!.."
in the background, it's clear that someone is doing a drumroll sound effect with their feet and the ground.

"Joining us will also be Constable Whiskers! What a good kitty! Now, Are you ready, Mala?"
"I am ready, throw anything you got at me!"
"Okay! Question one: How did you originally learn about Sugarcane Sanctuary?"
"Ehh, let's say that I ended up wandering after my little incident and came across news articles about this place in a city outside of my homeland."
"Question.. two: Do you know anyone here from before getting hurt, or this your first time in the city?"
"Actually you'd laugh, but I knew Kiwi Cookie a while back when he was doing his Drive Across Earthbread challenge!"
"Woah, you knew Kiwi from BEFORE coming here!? That's so cool! I think I saw him too once, he almost got pulled over for speeding, eheh!"
"Hey!"
"Oh- Uh, anyways! Question 3: Do you have any goal for finding something while at Sugarcane?"
"So you heard of ■■■■■■ ■■■■■■, right? That war entity? Yeah, my goal is to restore order with them."
"That ■■■■■■!? You plan- oh my goodness, you're so brave!"
"Look, I know they don't have any bad intentions, they took my leg out of anger and I don't blame them for it!"
"You're really patient then, huh? Question 4: Once done with your goal, do you intend to visit or will you go back home?"
"I'm going home to my tribe, I am the chieftain after all, and I have to monitor that entity too."
"Final question: Are there other entities that you plan to face at any point in the future?"
"Maybe the other ■■■■■■s? I don't know quite yet."
"Well, I believe in you, Mala Sauce! Thank you so much for participating, and this ends the first Interviews with Walnut!"
