I forgot to ask this once I saw your reply, but what kind of problems with the “new” technology would be the most common with each member of the Pantheon?

I feel like Piia would be a bit too enthusiastic, Agnes would put metal in a microwave, Malda would use a stovetop flame like a campfire one, and Zeutaros would blow up every piece of technology in a hundred meter radius with Zeti powers.

Hi! At the time of writing this ask, AO3 is still down, so I decided to put some headcanons for your Pantheon AU in here. If you like them, please feel free to use them. If you don’t like them or the reasoning behind them, please let me know why so I don’t continue misinterpreting them in my head.

Boreas:

When you’re going to do something incredibly stupid, he’ll tell you it’s stupid, but he won’t stop you if you decide to do it anyway. (He seems like the type of person who has seen so much idiocy that he’s numb to it.)

Piia:

They actually weren’t too mad at the kid who tricked them into trapping themselves in a mirror. They were very impressed that someone actually outwitted them, especially since it was a fellow kid. (I have a hunch that it was the adults’ idea to sacrifice Piia, and as such, they didn’t target other kids with their tricks and pranks.)

Zeutaros:

May or may not be an ancestor of Zavok. Assuming that he gets disconnected from the emerald’s power and he manages to calm down, he will hang around Zavok a lot, trying to “parent” him, much to Zik’s annoyance. (Zeutaros has horns shaped like Zavok’s, and the two have very similar builds. Also, the thought of a ripped hulking creature arguing with a tiny old man about how to raise a kid is… amusing, to say the least. Especially when you realize that Zik is easily puntable by someone like Zeutaros.)

Mother Agnes:

Overprotective parental figure, who put the children under her care into that comatose state to “protect” them from the outside world. (It just seems like a quality she would have, especially if the emerald messed with her mind.)

Malda:

The embodiment of “You either earn my respect or get off my lawn.” (Cranky hermit.)

Occasionally bleps. (Frog.)

Desíré:

Spoiled as heck. Will not accept anything considered “the stuff of simpletons”. (Prince stuff.)

Manas:

Will scam you once he learns what scamming is. (He just has that air about him.)

All the Pantheon:

Severely time-displaced and will probably wreck numerous things as they figure out how modern amenities work.

Oh wow, hello! Thank you for writing, I think this is the first time someone has sent me their headcanons for my OCs and I must say, this is awesome! It's so cool to see other people's interpretation of them!

Quite a few of these headcanons are pretty spot on too

Boreas Correct! He has no interest in stopping anyone from getting in trouble (unless there's a chance their stupidity might affect him). This isn't out of malice- after losing his entire tribe he's become numb to people in general. He doesn't form bonds with others anymore and has stopped caring about pretty much anyone and anything.

Piia The child who sealed them away is probably one of the only individuals Piia doesn't have a vendetta against. They were more angry at themselves for being tricked than anything else. Sacrificing villagers to the moutain was a common occurence where Piia lived, although the children were typically kept out of the loop. Being albino, Piia was considered a particularly valuable sacrifice. Their primary target for their vengeance is indeed adults (and older teens) ; however if a kid is nearby or even caught in the crossfire… That is not a reason for them to stop.

Zeutaros Bingo! This was the idea when designing him (a little too obvious but oh well). He's Zavok's great(x40) grampa ; although because I kept going back and forth on this it's not actually that important to the overall story. I was also originally going to give him power over both fire and electricity as well ; but I decided to focus on the latter for. Story reasons. As for caring for Zavok… That is unfortunately very much not the case. I have a lot of headcanons about Zeti and the Lost Hex ; one of them being that warrior packs like the Deadly Six make up only a tiny tiny portion of the population on the Hex. The majority of Zeti nowadays are farmers and artisans living in small communities, relying on the warriors for protection in exchange of food. Back when Zeutaros was (first) alive however, things were much the opposite. Warriors ruled the Hex and those who couldn't fight back were either killed or made to serve them. Zeutaros in particular was known to slaughter those he considered weak with little remorse- which is why the Deadly Six allied themselves with Sonic & Co. Because they know this guy would have no issue killing them and then everyone on the Hex if he ever makes his way back up there. Oh also yeah, the Emerald gives him power but has no impact on his psyche. He's just like that.

Mother Agnes Overprotective in the worst way possible. She suffered a lot in her youth and always wished someone would have taken her away from that suffering ; that she could have escaped it all. As an adult she views the world as inherantly evil- and children to be too pure and gentle to be a part of it. She projects all of her past trauma onto them and believes the best for them is to never have to face anything upsetting, ever. Hence putting them in a permanent sleep where she believes nothing can ever harm them.

Malda Deep down she's a kind old lady ; always was until she was you know, drowned for crimes she never committed. She's still got some of that kindness in her but yeah, if she doesn't like you you are not welcome.

Désiré Well, yes and no. They were very much spoiled in the material sense ; jewelry and good food and expensive robes… But they never felt truly loved- much less accepted. Désiré is the name they chose for themself. It was never uttered by anyone else in their family. To them they were always Raaj, their heir who was throwing a petty tantrum and would come around eventually to his princely duties. Désiré could easily be convinced to give up the riches for a more simple life where they can feel loved. Just give them some time to get used to it.

Manas Oh absolutely, yes. Scamming's his game and all he needs is a few gullible individuals to get started.

All The Pantheon I need to make a timeline for when all these guys were alive. Mother Agnes would be the closest to present time (think the Sonic equivalent of the 1920s) and Zeutaros the furthest away (roughly early Iron Age). So yeah, lots of tech getting completely wrecked with these guys around.

I’m going to be completely honest here.

While I have made a personal vow to never get into the MLP fandom, I have noticed that there is a new creepypasta for it that is actually really good.

It’s gotten me to think, hey, maybe I should come up with a horror based AU for something I like.

I’m torn between going for a Legend of Zelda BOTW/TOTK one and going for a Pikmin one. On one hand, I can corrupt the four Champions/Divine Beast pilots, and throw in a Triforce Swap for good measure. On the other hand, b u g s .

I’m having a major brainrot moment right now

Swap Sectonia is not the one who found the cursed mirror that Dark Mind was sealed in after his defeat.

I decided that Floralia may have technology similar to Dreamland in terms of plumbing and electrical systems and whatnot, but it’s very Renaissance coded society wise. The nobility are expected to be treated like royalty, and the actual royalty are viewed like gods. Meanwhile the common folk scrape to get by, and are regarded as worthless rabble by many of the nobility and royalty.

Swap Sectonia (who is a princess at this point in time) was approaching her eighteenth birthday, and by society’s standards, that meant she needed to start looking for a husband. The Queen of Floralia organized a grand ball where Sectonia was supposed to choose a worthy suitor as her future husband. All suitors were required to bring a gift, as was tradition, but Sectonia took advantage of the rule that there was supposed to be a theme to the gifts.

Her requirement? The gifts had to be handmade by the suitors themselves.

As the ball went on, more and more gifts were offered. Fine jewelry, exquisite perfumes… the only one who broke the mold was a boy named Taranza, who brought a small woodcarving. He was mocked for it by the other nobles, and the Queen declared that they would take the gift- but he wouldn’t get Sectonia’s hand in marriage.

And then the Marquis De Lafayette brought the giant mirror.

It seemed to be the perfect gift- its reflective surface glimmering brilliantly, the golden frame ornately carved. The Queen was about to declare him the winner, but Sectonia stopped her.

“Let us see who has been truthful with the nature of their gift. Mages, do just as I told you. Determine whether they really made their gifts.”

The Queen scoffed at this. “You really expect them to bring inferior gifts?”

“It’s not the quality that I doubt. It’s the identity of the makers.”

The Queen opened her mouth to call Sectonia a nasty name… and her jaw dropped as the results came in.

The necklaces, the perfumes, the dresses- none of them were actually made by the suitors. The only one who had actually made their gift was Taranza.

The Queen was furious- now no one could marry the princess! Sectonia merely smiled, as she had been released from her duty to be married. She was incredibly glad- she barely knew any of the suitors, if at all.

Then the attention turned to Taranza.

“You may stay in the castle as long as you wish.” Sectonia declared. “In addition, you may choose one gift to take as your own.”

“He will take the mirror, or I will make sure that the only part of the castle he sees is the dungeon!” The Queen demanded.

Taranza agreed to take the mirror, and he quickly became a fixture in the castle.

No one suspected that the mirror was cursed. But one person knew. And if that boy dared to bring a mere woodcarving to the princess as a wedding gift… well, he deserved whatever happened to him.

(TLDR Taranza got the mirror and was slowly corrupted)

Random thought I had

Let’s assign each Bishop of the Old Faith a particular cause of death related to their original domain.

Shamura is assigned all war-related deaths, including the deaths of those who didn’t fight but died because of war nonetheless (ie civilian casualties)

Kallamar gets all disease related deaths, including infections and the like

Narinder is excluded from this because he’s got death as his domain already

Heket gets all hunger related deaths, in addition to deaths caused by eating something that you shouldn’t

Leshy gets workplace accidents and self inflicted death

Now among those four, who do you think has the most deaths under their belt?

I will put up a poll, but I will not research the results because I want to keep whatever sanity I have left

OH BOY ANOTHER CHANCE FOR ME TO COME UP WITH STUFF FOR THE SPARKS OF DESPAIR AU-

Relating back to my original “Darkmess Beep-0” idea, I am going to shove Midnite in the scenario because in my opinion, the Darkmess can’t possess someone who isn’t feeling major negative emotions.

Key word “major”, because otherwise it would be too easy for Cursa and Rabbid Peach would be taken over every time someone gets her coffee wrong.

(I shall henceforth call this phenomenon “the Akuma clause” after the Miraculous Ladybug technique.)

So this likely takes place before the final Phantom fight in this AU, because I am going with the idea that Darkmess Phantom was the one to transfer some Darkmess to Beep-0.

As for the jamming out part… I’m just going to improvise and say they were practicing for the actual fight with Phantom, under the impression that they could possibly just steal the spotlight from him rather than breaking it.

I had a weird dream last night and it was a kinda mix of some post The Phantom Show DLC stuff and funking The Phantom getting Beep-0 (I think it was the phantom cause of a certain detail) possessed by darkmess. But here were the main points of it from start to me waking up

• I was in Rabbid Peaches POV and we were in some kind of basement theater in Princess Peaches Castle

• Rayman and Rabbid Rosalina were just jamming for some reason. Literally. Rayman was using some kind of keyboard and Rabbid Rosalina was using a blue guitar with a star on the side.

• I look up the side to see Beep-0’s eyes flicker green and red unknowingly to him.

• A symbol reminiscent to corrupted phantom flickered on the stage (Like from the lights or something)

• Beep-0’s flicker again

• The lights turn off and you hear evil laughter from Beep-0 who HOLY HELL SOUNDED VERY DIFFERENT-

• The lights turn back on and in the center of the stage is a darkmess corrupted (And possibly Phantom corrupted) Beep-0. The only detail I remember is that his left eye had a small darkmess tentacle coming out of it and I remember being all ‘HIS FOOKING EYE?!’

• And before I woke up Beep-0 said, “Finally, now we can begin!” Which erm huh. Begin what?

And then I woke up, I might draw the weird dream Beep-0 but I dunno I’m pretty eepy rn it’s early

reading Marceline's Scrapbook honestly and truly ripped my heart from my body.

It's starts off as Simon's journal and then he later passes it on to Marceline when he has to leave her.

This is his first entry, right after he found Marcy he talks about how when he found her she was afraid of everything around her, including him. That the first night after he found her she didn't sleep, but instead cried all night.

Simon talks about how much he loves Marceline, and how she's keeping him alive. Because if he didn't have her, he'd have no reason to live. He basically outright says he wishes he was dead so if he didn't have Marceline to look after he probably would have killed himself.

And it starts to get more and more sad when he starts referring to Marcy as Gunther.

This was Simon's last entry before giving the journal to Marceline and the last thing he said in it was, "God help me" which I find really dark for, one, a cartoon, and two, adventure time specifically since Glob replaces God in most peoples vocabulary in Ooo so this really highlights his humanity imo.

But whats really sad is seeing how significantly his hand writing changes over time, it starts out very neat and ends up looking like chicken scratch.

This was Marceline's first entry in the journal, she wrote in it for a while before Simon left her. I highlighted where she called Uncle Simon. Because...

She later refers to him as a father, yes I know it's in quotation marks but she's talking about Simon and Hunson in the same way and Hunson is her actual dad. Everything about their relationship makes me want to tear my heart out.

Edit: I saw a couple people were confused, when she says "day 4 without Dad" she is referring to Hunson, this is shortly after he stole her fries and she forced him to leave, but he did things far worse than that. He killed her friends after he promised he would help save them, and him eating her fries after she hasn't eaten hot food in literal years was just the straw that broke the camels back. She was maybe 11 years old at that point.
