Like…imagine being self-righteously dead-set against fictional redemptions and redemption stories because you legitimately believe that a character realizing they’re being horrible, feeling remorse about being horrible, and wanting and deciding to stop being horrible is a bad message to put out into the world.

I was just off to do House of Cards and we had been in the process of filming and a nuclear bomb went off and Ryan very graciously said, “What you need right now is to act with extraordinary women.” All of my role models as an artist have always been women actors. When he said, “I want you do Horror Story. You’ll be opposite Sarah Paulson and Kathy Bates,” I burst into tears. He said my character had long hair with an affinity for capes and that’s all I needed to know.

all aside, i thought this season was pretty amazing. i loved how it made you stay on the edge of your seat, and even though this finale was kind of fucked up ( though i wasn’t surprised that michael was killed even though they could had killed him in a much less cruel way ) this season is by far the best in the american horror story franchise.

with my love remaining for sarah paulson and evan peters, even the original queen jessica lange herself, cody fern took this season and made it his bitch. he did a phenomenal portrayal of michael and i’m glad ryan put him in the american horror story family because damn, only cody could make you have sympathy for the antichrist.

i’m glad he was part of this show, and hope to see him in future seasons. he deserves to be well known for all of his incredible performances. it was / is a pleasure to be a fan of this wonderful man, and the character he brought to life.

cody, thank you so much for giving this season something to remember. i applaud you, your family and friends applaud you, your cast members applaud you and the entire fandom applauds you. THANK YOU.

With that ending it kind of leads to believe that the antichrist can reincarnate so, there is a possibility that if Michael had been trapped in the house then the antichrist 2.0 wouldn’t have been born and not ALL have been for nothing but it was ALL for nothing in the end… Just a theory.

Like I know Michael is “cute” and all that but he’s the literal antichrist so being trapped in a house with him for all eternity doesn’t sound like a good time tbh
