(ID in alt) Why do I only like drawing my OC in this style? Who knows.... Extra lore under the cut:

This scene is right after she got turned into a cyborg- the lore is still very loose in my head, but she was turned into a cyborg by a scientist who sells his cyborg creation services to the highest bidder (one of the villains, obviously). She escapes somehow (still working on that) and is left wondering what to do next-- she has to solve the mystery of who she is, hoe she got here, and what the scientist's plans are. Also, on the way she found the scarf and wears is because of how cold it is.

(ID in alt) I did some studies of people with facial differences- I wanted to get out of my comfort zone a little, and it was a good excuse to try out @saszor's cleft lip tutorial and down syndrome tutorial, which were very helpful!

I wanted to try sewing so I made a Kamen Rider Black RX plushie! I modeled him on Blender, then used Plushify for the pattern and sewed him by hand. He's based on his Kamen Rider SD design because it's cute :)

Definitely room for improvement but I bought enough fabric that I could make more

Back by popular demand... I wanted to do some Ishinomori-inspired doodles and then i found a cool marker brush so I went ham with that as well :)

Also I added her to artfight! I named her Kamen Rider Bio because it's short for "bionic"

Extra lore and stuff under the cut

My (very minimal) lore for her is that she has amnesia right after she gets borged so she has to use disguises to hide herself until she can figure out how to detransform... I love the trope where a character pulls off one article of clothing and it removes their whole disguise it's very funny

Her cyborg form is based on a mantis, so a lot of it is built from organic materials, and some of her powers and behaviors are also based on a mantis's, hence "bio"/bionic. I made a little labeled ref because it's fun coming up with names for all the parts.

well I didn't feel like giving her a human design but i also want to put her in little outfits so she can be. as a treat :)

Made a showa rider OC :) I don't have much on her backstory yet but she's a cyborg (obviously). She's based on a praying mantis because it's my favorite bug and also she's from the mid-80s. It was really fun making an Ishinomori style design lol
