One of my favorite aspects of DarkHarvest00 is that you see the characters suffer in really, really realistic ways. In most series, the characters either don't have any noticeable financial or job insecurity and if you do, you still don't see the consequences of it too much. But in DH00, like. They lose their families out of nowhere and end up homeless. Actually homeless, with them counting the physical money they have down to the cent, eating food out of cans and sleeping in parks, like... that's one of the aspects of this kind of story that I feel is underutilized sometimes. The fact that you'd never be safe, that you'd have to keep moving, being paranoid, and the effect of that is you'd never really be able to just, pay your bills or have a job in the normal sense, especially at that age. 2014 Boiler Room fucked me up so bad for this reason, because outside of the circumstances (the order and whatnot) that's some real shit that can happen to people! I could get more into the realistic aspects of the series and why I like it so much, but this is one of my favorite parts of it. These guys all suffer, and I feel so fucking bad for them.

❄️ Snow - Who is your coldest / most stoic character and how do they express themselves (if at all)?

I have played a lot of characters who portrayed themself coldly either in-story or were generally very stoic as a person but i think my favorite was playing Mo in a revival scenario in which he was stuck and newly disabled in a place that was incredibly untrustworthy. He was also stuck around the also-revived Sean, so a lot of his story was battling the way Sean had charmed the others in the narrative, fighting against being portrayed as a violent and aggressive person, and looking for people he could trust to believe him and his own story. it was kind of heart breaking. he expresses himself by protecting those he can and offering himself as a pillar of stability!

i have also played a slenderverse character named Antibody from Onehundredyardstare, where he was just cold because he was just Shot By A Friend and also incredibly unsocialized. He wore the gas mask 90% of the time and would just stare at people like an incredibly grumpy dog even though he was just flat out chilling. he DOES NOT express himself actually hes very prone to miscommuncation. my weird fucked up dog

^ both of them were actually very kind people! Mo is much more soft spoken with characters like Story Parker and those who are vulnerable because he finds a natural need to protect them. Antibody has a thin moral backbone but a desire to survive and help. They're just victims of the circumstances their stories ended up putting them in.

In the end of it all, the only thing he can do is roll over. The broken window is kind of funny and there's a heavy breeze of thick night air rushing in. It tastes like incoming rain. It tastes like some sort of memory, sitting on the rocks of a fireplace in Kaitlyn's backyard, lukewarm beer in his hand and misery heavy over three sets of shoulders. He craves nights like those. He craves backyard hangouts but only the kind that are too, too far in the past to reach. He could go back to the past but there's nobody waiting for him there, anymore. His fingers sift through the sands of time and find nothing to hold onto but broken glass. He doesn't move from the hospital bed he's bound to. He sits in a room with a broken window and wonders if anyone else out there was waiting for something. Waiting for something to happen, something bad, something to fall through, something to stop haunting and make a real move. Time was ticking and Mo was older than he should be, he thinks. Time was ticking and he's not still sleeping on Lee's floor. Time was ticking and it's all the same feeling of helpless waiting but none of the familiarity.

like. youre afraid of admitting youre getting worse because that'll impact your personal freedom. your friends dont want to "deal with you" anymore. everyone's waiting for you to get over it and get better. It's not real. You're fine. You lose friends. You move all your furniture so you can watch the windows. You're waiting for someone to come after you and get you. You can't leave because what if they come after you? And even the people who understand and are fighting to make it better- they dont get it! Because they can just walk away from this at any moment! you CANT. You have to LIVE LIKE THIS. FOREVER. Keratingarden is great psychosis rep and story parker is everything to me :-(
