Douxie angst fanfic for fun

Douxie grasped at his hair, his eyes wide and crazed. His eyes darted across the room, trying to find anything. Anything at all. But there was nothing except bare, white walls. He had been alone for so long, so, terribly long.

It was so quiet.

At first he hadn’t minded the silence, but now it bothered him. He wanted something- anything to happen. The wizard could feel his sanity slowly slipping away, slipping away and leaving insanity in its place.

This- this room was going to be the bane of him. Douxie knew it- with what was left of his mind. He had been in this room- this stupid room for what semeed like years, and yet he knew it had only been a month or two. He got food regularly, but now it is gone. The hunger pains in his stomach had long stopped bothering him, and he knew it was only a few days until the dehydration set in.

Whoever had put him here- whatever crazy person did this- was trying to kill him. Either that; or they were trying to torture him into giving them something. But he knew he wouldn’t. It just wasn’t in his nature to give something away, something so important that someone would do this to get it.

True, he didn’t even know what it was- but he wouldn’t say anything. Finally letting go of his hair and slowly standing, Douxie began to stretch his sore muscles. He never knew when he might need to move quickly, maybe to escape this forsaken place.

He looked around again. Not even a single spot of dust littered the perfectly white room.

Why was he here?

The question haunted his mind and clouded his thoughts all day. He wanted answers, and yet he knew they would never come. He would die here- whoever put him in this place made sure of that. Douxie sat down again with a sigh, leaning his head against the wall and bringing his knees to his chest.

He wanted it to end. He wanted it all to end. Knowing that he would never get to see the love of his life again broke him, and soon he was crying, tears streaming down his cheeks and onto the ground. His shoulders shook with such force that his whole body was vibrating, and he couldn’t stop it.

Douxie thought of all his friends. Zoe, Claire, Jim, Toby, Steve, Arrrgh!, and even Merlin came across his mind. But there was one person in particular that he refused to think of- refused for he knew the pain and anguish it would cause him. He didn’t dare think of their soft brown eyes, or their deep chocolate hair.

His tears had ceased, but he didn’t move. His eyes closed, the wizard took a few deep breaths, and then stopped. He knew escape was basically impossible, so why linger around any longer? Why not just get this life over with?

He could finally see Merlin, along with a few other old friends. Then a particular face entered his thoughts. He couldn’t leave them. Not without saying goodbye. That would hurt them too much.

So Douxie sat there, in the cold- white room for hours. Trying to decide if another’s love was enough to keep him going in this miserable world.
