Honestly I think it’s so funny that in the Marvel universe, when someone’s really smart, they have like eight to twelve doctorates and they finished high school at age twelve.

And then over in the DC universe it’s like. This is Tim Drake. He’s a genius. He keeps cloning his loved ones. He dropped out of highschool. Over there is Barry Allen. He can reverse engineer a spaceship in less than a minute. He is such a good chemist he’s still going to be known as the best chemist in 4,000 years. He has a bachelor’s degree.

By the time a Marine pulled into a little town, every hotel room was taken. “You’ve got to have a room somewhere,” he pleaded. “Or just a bed, I don’t care where." 

"Well, I do have a double room with one occupant, a Navy guy,” admitted the manager, “and he might be glad to split the cost. But to tell you the truth, he snores so loudly that people in adjoining rooms have complained in the past. I’m not sure it’d be worth it to you.” “No problem,” the tired Marine assured him. “I’ll take it.” The next morning the Marine came down to breakfast bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. “How’d you sleep?” Asked the manager. “Never better.” The manager was impressed. “No problem with the other guy snoring, then?” “Nope, I shut him up in no time.” Said the Marine. “How’d you manage that?” asked the manager. “He was already in bed, snoring away, when I came in the room,” the Marine explained. “I went over, gave him a kiss on the cheek, said, ‘Goodnight, beautiful,’ and he sat up all night watching me.”

Dolly Parton has come to do a show in my town. We couldn't afford tickets, so me and my mom sold my stepdad so we could go.

It turned out that we sold him to Dolly Parton, she made him sing with her and then she gave him back.

Raeda wedding dance (sorry for reposting, wrong account)

Wouldn't it be really cute if at their wedding Raine and Eda did the same adorable fistbump/dance/secret handshake thing as they did when they first met in "Them's the Breaks, Kid"?ImageSo much has changed, Eda has lost a hand, but they can still use her hook for twirling...🥺

Raine's outfit is inspired by British 1830s men's coats (for no particular reason other than how similar the silhouettes were to womenswear) and Eda's by Russian fairy tale prince outfits (because she's inspired by Baba Yaga). Except with skirts because she loves skirts with torn hems, so I gave her many layers to mutilate. I imagine her tearing up 6 skirts and 2 long sleeves with gleeful abandon. :D
