So you know that ask about Elizant adopting a version of the Knight and Lucas Nickle that got trapped in the bug story? Well, i have another kid(s?). That she could also adopt with him/them getting stuck there, too. That being Webber from don't starve. Assuming you know anything about him. In other words, Knight and Lucas get a new sibling. Ps. Someone apparently rebloged that post.

Interesting! Though like with Lucas and Ant Bully, I unfortunately don't know anything about Don't Starve other than it's a game that exists, lol. So I'd have to give it the same response I gave to Lucas since I don't know anything about the character Webber. Apologies if it's not a satisfying answer, but I don't want to judge/give opinions a character I know nothing about.

I have a crazy au idea. For starters, how do you think Queen Elizant II would interact with children? Oh and sorry if this gets to long or annoying, just something i thought would be fun nothing more. My idea is that the Knight protagonist of hollow knight with at least most of its gear and abilities and with it having started getting emotions before ending up in bug fables. This knight is definitely taken before its fight with the radiance. And Lucas Nickle, aka Rokai from the ant bully, also ends up there, too, with all his gear from the game https://youtu.be/QeWLRO6hc5E?si=46IsqMTMQq3DBtgA I think it would make sense for him to have been pulled from before he gets the growth position. Also, to explain the inventor thing for Lucas, i headcannon that Lucas picked up some magic from Zoc, I mean, we see that Lucas is pretty smart and creative for a kid in the movie being very clever when come up with ideas and even some actual strategies if given time and training Lucas could probably make for a good general. Also, in the game, Lucas has actual fighting skills and a fighting style with his staff. Although not at the knight's level of skills. Lucas also knocks over things that shouldn't be possible with normal strength. I'm focused on Rokai so much because he is far lesser known than any character from Hollow Knight. Also, imagine how terrifying these two little kids would be to the kingdom. Queen Elizant should probably keep some details about them a secret. Also, I like the idea of the Knight and Lucas being roughly the same size despite the Knight technically being younger than Lucas. I think it will be adorable if the two develop a sibling bond. I also just think it would be wholesome and interesting to see Elizant raising them, although the first thing she might need to do is get them baths, they both probably stink badly. Either way, in this AU idea, the two are stuck with her, or i guess it's the other way around. Ps i would argue both could take on whole parties separately, imagine what they could do together especially if they train together. Again, Elizant should probably keep information on them as limited as possible. Should also probably find somewhere they can train without causing too much damage on accident. Oh, and what do you think this AU would be called? I think it's an idea that could have a lot of wholesome stuff in it despite it having some tragedy and sadness. I hope Queen Elizant II can handle two kids that her kingdom might call monsters. Also, maybe the knight and Lucas should train her guards. You probably have no clue what I'm even talking about, lmao.

Hmm, that's an interesting AU! Though before I continue with my own brainstorming on this, keep in mind I haven't watched the Ant Bully movie, I only have a general idea of the plot.

I feel like Elizant would have two different reactions to each of these kids, with the biggest distinction (for me) being that Lucas can actually communicate with her, so even though Lucas is not a bug, she'd be able to come to understand who he is. However, she might be hesitant at first to reveal him to the public, because again, not a bug. Elizant tries to keep peace and order for her kingdom in the best way, and if a (tiny) giant showed up in the kingdom, she'd probably want to slowly introduce Lucas to the Kingdom to allow them to adjust to the sight.

How she treats Lucas from that point on may also depend on how he presents himself. It's assumed that none of the bugs in the Kingdom have seen a human, so they may not be able to distinguish between an adult and a child, at least not at first. If Lucas tries to act more like an adult and present himself as an adult, I feel Elizant would treat him as such, though she may question that if he shows behavior patterns typical of a child. However, if Lucas were to present as a child, I feel like she may be more hesitant to throw him into dangerous situations.

As for the Knight... that's a bit trickier. Not only is the Knight unable to communicate, but even though it's a bug, it has capabilities far beyond that of any normal bug, and has ways of manipulating its body that may even make her question if the Knight is truly a bug.

Like with Lucas, how Elizant treats the Knight would depend, though this time on your personal interpretation of the Knight. If you headcanon it with more child-like tendencies, she may begin to treat them as such, though she might... coddle them more, is that the right word? She might treat them as younger than Lucas given the Knight's inability to speak. However, if you headcanon the knight as being more prone to violence due to its situations and upbringing, Elizant may come to view the Knight as a potential threat. Even if she would come to warm up to the Knight, she would put extra surveillance on the Knight to ensure they are safe to be around before exposing her subjects to them.

Though Elizant II is technically the mother of the current Ant Kingdom generation (literally), she's never quite given off motherly vibes (at least to me), so I'm not sure if she would be super quick to take on a more motherly nature with the kids. How the Knight and Lucas interact, I can't say, because again, I haven't seen Ant Bully and I don't have a good enough grasp on Lucas's personality to be able to give a fair judgement.

With that said, I've actually seen a few different fanfics/comics/etc. that talk about ideas like these that are definitely worth checking out if you'd like some ideas for your AU!

@erijuice has a really cute BF story about Maggie, a human "giant" who gets shrunk down to the size of a bug and ends up meeting and befriending the characters of Bug Fables. You can read it on AO3 here or check out their artwork on their Tumblr~! @dooblebugss has a fanfic about Team Snakemouth discovering the lost kingdom of Hallownest, and them having to deal with the hostility of the dying kingdom. The AO3 fanfic is here, and they've also got a few pics on their blog too! Lastly we've got @lilybug-02 who has a comic about the human Dewi, a kid with a huge love for bugs, coming across the HK characters and the kingdom of Hallownest and how the denizens react to having a giant human stumble across their lands. Lol, I am indeed alive, don't worry. I know I've been pretty silent on here, but I just... haven't had anything interesting to post xD I do check Tumblr daily though!

Man, Magia Record helped me get through some tough times. I discovered it during the height of the pandemic and it honestly helped me get through a lot of it. Nothing will be more iconic to me than being greeted by Mitama and the stain glass window behind her as you pulled for magical girls.

Okay, so truth be told, I drew this a very long time ago for a zine project that has seemingly just... disappeared off the face of the earth. So apologies that this is such a belated farewell to the game. I really do hope that she, as well as so many others from Magia Record, make a return in Magia Exedra. I'd love to see my Coordinator gal join the fray once more!

Throwing my hand into the hk gijinka ring with my human version of Monomon~!

I think a lot about how Monomon in her normal form would perform mundane tasks (such as writing at a desk), and I thought it would be fun to translate that to a human form. I love to imagine that she intentionally doesn't tell people about the missing arms because she likes to see their shocked expressions when they see her for the first time.

Might tweak the clothing a little bit at a later time, I like the idea of Monomon in a hanfu-inspired dress, though I didn't think about it until I was done with this piece about how she puts the belt on... We can say for now that Quirrel puts it on for her, lol

Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling version 1.2 update now available - Gematsu

Publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Moonsprout Games have released the version 1.2 update for adventure RPG Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling in celebration of the game’s fifth anniversary, the companies announced.

The update adds the following content:

-Fishing in The Fishing Village – Catch worms and reel in some fun!

-New Post-Game Boss Fight – Face off against the heroes of legend in B.O.S.S. mode!

-Team Up with Allies – Watch allies you support join you through a new special medal!

-11 New Medals – Expand your strategies with even more new gameplay-altering medals!

-New Items to Discover – Scattered across the overworld, waiting for explorers to find.

-One New Music Track – A brand-new addition to Bugaria’s already beloved soundtrack.

Vi’s Beemerang now has an option to lock angles to the nearest eight cardinal directions in battle.

A grace period added after falling droplets allows for easier freezing.

Various language fixes, minor balance and bug resolutions, and more!
