AC is broken upstairs. Having to sleep downstairs until Monday at the earliest. Tragic. It's okay though, because at least the AC works downstairs. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Luckily I'm in a cooler spot in the house now:

Gaining back a little bit more energy, but all I want is fruit with chili salt my mom made right now. It's so good. 🙌🏽 Certain fruits though. Apples and watermelons are good. Mangoes are good. Blueberries were a nope last night. 😅🤷🏽‍♀️ I'm just glad I'm gaining my appetite back. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Later: I just got back from the gym not too long ago. I ate saltines with a spoon of peanut butter. I did cardio, arms, and back at the gym though. I think I need to go a little lighter on legs. 🤔 Or not things like squats, but things like glute bridges, so I'm careful of my core, but still strengthening them at the same time.

Before my boyfriend picked me up for the gym, he called me to ask if I needed anything from the store because of how I'm feeling and I just absolutely love that. I love things like that.

I'm feeling so sick— queasy & nauseous, really— for the past week. So I'm literally resting as much as possible for the time being.

I want to work on astrology stuff, but I'm just exhausted. It's hard to focus for too long, but normally I can focus for hours at a time, even all days on something, but not right now. I'll admit, that's probably one of my biggest saving graces when it came to learning 10 astrology systems and now researching an 11th. 🤭

I pushed myself to work this past week in the heat and 🤷🏽‍♀️ this is me now 😮‍💨🤢🫩. I worked out some last night, but ate a salad where the dressing was probably spoiled. 😮‍💨 So that didn't help either.

Anyway, Neptune Rx is coming up, so that's going to be fun. 😅 Followed by Mercury Rx, too. Yup.

However, Cancer new moon tonight. I haven't even looked at the chart, but I'm going to try to tonight. It's actually early morning tomorrow, but yeah. Okay, headache and nausea from my mom roasting peanuts. 🤢🫩🤭 Gawd... I need to get past this soon.

Finally got another post done! And tbh, I thought I was going to have to retype it yesterday, because Tumblr gave me an error when I went to post it and it disappeared. 😭 Luckily, I didn't panic, because I did happen to take a screenshot of it an hour or so earlier! 🙌🏽🙏🏽💖 Buuuuut luckily, by the grace of the gods, Tumblr still ended up posting it somehow. I'm not going to question it— just thank you. 🙏🏽🙌🏽🌌💖

Anyway, we were finally able to take the kids out to play in the water today at the Roswell Mill. The people next to us allowed our kids to play with their floaties, which was really nice. The guy that was with them offered us beer, but my man and I both don't drink (I used to, but I don't anymore, not since being pregnant with my eldest, and my man never has— I love that about him.)

Thankfully, my man has a sixth sense about a lot of things and had us leave right before it started pouring down rain 🌧️ and I mean POURING.

We ended up deciding to wait out the storm by eating at the American Pasta Factory, because I've never been. Let me tell you— it is so freaking good! Fresh made pasta!!! Absolutely heavenly. Our eldest got spaghetti & a meatball (it was a giant one 🤭), our second child got mac & cheese, but basically only ate the focaccia bread (which, lemme tell you, he's lucky I gave him mine, because bread is my weakness😤), and then the hubby & I both got the chicken alfredo with broccoli.

Afterwards, we dropped the kids off back home with my mum and went to the gym. Hubby didn't want to at first, but we ended up being there for over 2½ hours 😱. I focused on arms and cardio and ended up doing just a little bit more glutes and was dead. 💀 Ya girl was putting in the work for real— not that I wasn't before, but daaayyyuuuuummm. Lmao 🤣

Ate two peaches and came home to take the best freaking shower ever after today! 🙌🏽🙏🏽💖 Hubby was proud of me for putting in that work at the gym though— that was nice. 😌

Tomorrow, I begin writing my petition to get back into college. 🫠💪🏽

Are You Using Neptune Correctly?

Neptune's all about breaking through limitations, but y'all aren't ready to hear that yet.

Nah, for real. Neptune is a hard ass planet to nail down in some ways, but at the root of it all, Neptune is the planet that breaks through your limitations— it gives you something to strive towards.

On one side, Neptune gives glamour, illusions, inspirations, hallucinations, or straight up delusion— welcome to delulu world or as my father used to call it "la la land". This is the side of Neptune where nothing is what it seems and guess what? In a way, it's almost a trick, but it's really Neptune's way of testing you and pushing you towards growth.

Neptune allows you to perceive a particular thing, but Neptune's truth is on the other side of all that shit, including the realm of inspiration. Neptune gives dreams and inspiration, but can you manifest it? Can you make it real? Neptune wants you to look beyond the illusion to the reality behind it, but too many people get caught up in the illusion. When people are stuck looking *only* at the illusion, that's when Neptune's retrograde (Rx) hits hard and can make things feel a bit, er, dire. (⁠ಠ⁠_⁠ಠ⁠)⁠>⁠⌐⁠■⁠-⁠■

Popping the reality bubble is enough to send some people into crashouts, depression, escapism (especially through drugs & alcohol), and mental breaks. However, what Neptune does for us is a thankless job, but necessary for our growth. Neptune gives you something to aim for, something to have faith in, but it's up to you to take steps towards making your Neptunian vision a reality.

Neptune can give incredibly high, beautiful ideals, but we have to measure it against what's actually possible or real and tweak as necessary. That's where Neptune's retrograde can be leveraged for your benefit!

Neptune's retrograde phase isn't a time to get depressed about the stark reality of the situation, but use the Rx as an opportunity to look at where you actually stand against your Neptunian vision. Do you need to redirect? Do you need to take more action? Do you need to do something different? Or, at the saddest & most heartbreaking point of Neptune's illusions, do you need to release that thing or person because they don't match up to it? 😔

Regardless of what it is, Neptune removes anything false within your life. That's why it helps you break through your limitations— from mundane limitations to emotional and even spiritual limitations.

Happy Father's day to my man. 💖🙏🏽 I retwisted his hair finally. He hates getting it done though. Takes so long, but I need to learn to start palm rolling + he needs to let me do regular maintenance. 🤦🏽‍♀️ He hates sitting in one spot for so long. He had like 3-4 inches of new growth— just goes to show how long it's been. 😤 It's like 130+ locs or something. 💀😂

My mom brought my new Khmer outfit back from the seamstress. 🙏🏽 I feel like the Sun. I love it! That's my sidereal Leo Lagna, Sun, Mars, & Ketu. ☀️ I actually need to get it altered, because I lost 20 lbs since I was measured for it. 😅🙌🏽

Also, I'm FINALLY going to be finishing up my next post tomorrow! I'll either post it tomorrow or Tuesday, but I'm proud of myself for keeping up with it little-by-little rather than a full on stop with it. 🙏🏽💖 Because that's what I used to do. 🤦🏽‍♀️🫠 Working to break that bad habit. 😮‍💨 I'm excited about it though. 💪🏽🥰🌸

I didn't get to the gym these past two days. 😭 Doing pilates in the morning. Have to keep in line with my gym's weekend hours. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Also, I realized that I follow a lot of evolutionary astrology's line of thinking & practice and I didn't even realize it. (I think I mentioned that last time.) But I'm going to look more into that on Tuesday after I finish my next content post. I already adore Dane Rudhyar's stuff, but I didn't realize that he is considered an evolutionary astrologer— I thought he was considered a philosophical modern astrologer. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Always learning, always learning.

Out working with my man again. 🙌🏽🫡

Started off the morning by visiting Forest Cafe and got an iced caramel macchiato for myself and a dragon fruit refresher for the hubby— it was so good we ended up getting him two. 🤭

Got caught in the rain (literally thunderstorms & flash flood areas) with my last delivery— practically drenched in the rain. 😭 Luckily, I had a towel in the car and was wearing quick drying athletic clothes, because 🤧 I can't afford to be sick any time soon. Lol

Unfortunately, I haven't made enough time & space to work on my content for The Apex Astrologer, so I'm going to continue to work on it little by little even if I'm not making HUGE strides with it while working my other job.

On the flip side, the hubby and I agreed that I need to dedicate more time to my business— I'm so thankful for his continued support and belief in me and my work, 🥺🙌🏽🙏🏽😭💖 especially considering the fact that he didn't even believe in astrology before he met me 🤭— so, on Mondays and Tuesdays I will only be working on my astrology content, so I can continue to build up my collection of work, answer questions, and get prepared to offer my readings again. 🙌🏽🙏🏽💖

But anyway, we found a new pho place called Viet Culture, which had that adorable cherry blossom 🌸 tree right when you walk in. We got the colossal pho, which comes in a large bowl, and split it. It was so good and so filling for both of us! We also got an order of quay (we call it "ja quay" in khmer— not sure how they write it with romanized letters tbh, because they use French pronunciation, I think?). And the peach blossom tea was delicious!

We then ended the night with a light workout session (light cardio for me) since we're both sore from yesterday.

Sunset after the storm from yesterday, new ice machine (because ours has been broken forever 🤦🏽‍♀️), eldest baby selfie 🤣, and a super delicious gingerbread caramel latte from caffe bean in Suwannee, GA— should've mixed it more though.

I've been slow on my content due to working extra at my primary, so I apologize for that, but I'll be up for a bit working on content tonight before I get to sleep. It's just been a slew of really long hot days. I tired. 😅🫠💀😴

But on the way home from working, I broke down some of my boyfriend's major conjunctions and midpoints for him in the car and he felt so fucking seen 🥺🙂‍↕️🙏🏽💕💖. We ended up deep diving into his Neptune Rx conjunct MC and that shit was beautiful. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕

Sheesh. Busy day. We took the kids out for an outing for the first time in a week. I had to break in new shoes and my feet hurt a bit, but I'm good. I'm satisfied and content, because I'm starting to get a little more active. 🙌🏽

Also, with this Sagittarius full moon coming up, I'm realizing I'm being called to level up my mindset and break through previous beliefs and understandings yet again. (The Sag full moon is going to be my 3H & 4wsH). I understand how my partner thinks even more, which is so far beyond most people, and it's incredibly beautiful.

I was clashing with him over the past few days due to our different perspectives & beliefs on very small matters— trivial, as he likes to say, but we talked through it and worked together to solve it. We had an absolutely incredible conversation tonight before we hung up to bring those misunderstandings to a close. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕💖🥰🙂‍↕️

I still have a shit ton of work to do, but I'm so grateful for his understanding, his incredible patience, his solutions, and his love. The amount of grace this man can hold for me and his belief in me has catapulted me forward in growth in ways I could only dream of in the past. I'm gushing, but my gawd, I'm seriously blessed.

Also, found some railroad spikes!! My man only let me grab two for my workings. 😭😮‍💨🤷🏽‍♀️ It's okay though. Kekeke 🤭

For those who don't know— railroad spikes can be used for protection against unwanted people and spirits or even to "pin down" the land against evictions. I'm going to use them for protection though. 👌🏽

Now that I'm thinking about it, railroad spikes feel a lot like Admetos' energy in a way. 🤔 Or nails in general.🤷🏽‍♀️

Dating a Taurus?

Want to know what dating a Taurus is really like?

Taureans are most known for their love of food, sensuality, routines, and stubbornness, but I'm going to let you in on four major insights to help you better understand what makes your Taurus partner tick.

Insight #1 -- Taureans are emotionally grounded.

Your Taurus partner belongs to THE most emotionally grounded sign out of the zodiac and I need for you to remember this, because this is the foundation of your Taurus.

A Taurus' affections grow over time, a very long time, and the reason is because they fall hella fucking hard. Now, I know that I'll more than likely get a ton of push back from certain communities about this, especially as a woman. There are ton of ideologies pushed into the female community about how a woman is "supposed to do things" in a relationship that I just do not agree with, like the ideas of "you don't have to change yourself for a relationship" or "you don't have to bring anything to the table/relationship". No, I don't fuck with that. You should always want to contribute to the relationship and want to bring something to it. You're meant to grow through a relationship and improve upon who you are. I'm not saying to abandon yourself, but become the best fucking version of yourself possible.

It took me two years, almost two and a half years really, to lockdown my Taurus rising boyfriend into full on commitment. And over those two years, I was consistently increasing my value to him by improving who I was as a person. I worked on my mental-emotional triggers and responses, my business, my body, and many other things along the way. I increased my value so heavily that he can no longer imagine life without me and is putting in the work to bring us up to our next level along side of me. It's incredible and the amount of growth I'm able to create within myself and my life. He even told my daughter, my eldest, that it's the number one reason he admires and loves me when she asked why he loves me.

But once you lockdown a Taurus, they're fixated on you for the long run and that leads me to my fourth and final major insight when it comes to dating a Taurus.

Insight #4-- Taureans are possessive and territorial.

Remember how I said that Taureans take a long time to make a decision about committing to a partner? Well, I mean it when I said that they do not make that decision lightly. They know just how intensely and deeply they can love their partner. They're in it for the fucking long haul. They're usually not looking for something that'll end in a year or two. No, no, no. Nor these Taurus babies. They want something that's going to last.

When they set their eyes on you, they literally fixate and see no one else. They're like a horse with blinders on. They'll want you all to themselves and nobody else. I can't even lie to you about how intense this fixation is.

To share an extreme version of this, I had a friend that was dating a guy when we were in early high school and he was a Taurus, I'm not going to go into the details, but that breakup was so hard on my friend and it was no laughing matter. She had to change phone numbers and her family had to file a restraining order.
