I saw it, and my partner kept reminding me of it periodically just to cause agony. (She didn't see it, just kept telling me, "Good Omens spoiler)

Anyway, not as much as the show did. I was not ready. I was chilling wondering if it was a fake spoiler or something, and then my heart broke in two.

I think the funniest part of good omens 2 was the false sense of security that seeing the kiss spoiler brought to so many of us. so like up until the last ten or so minutes of ep 6 you're like oh it'll be fine I'm prepared. and then you're absolutely not. arguably you're worse prepared than someone who had no idea a kiss was coming

I love how every single character in the locked tomb series is a complete girlfailure. Except Camilla obviously.

He’s the smartest necromancer ever of his generation. He’s incredibly kind. His friends are all queer women. His best friend is Camilla Hect (enough said). His mom is a milf. He is in love with a dead girl. He’s Harrow’s nemesis. She’s his poor little meow meow. When he and the woman he’d been in love with for a decade finally met and she blew him off to flirt with a young hot butch, he remained nothing but friendly and polite. He coalesced all the pain and confusion and insecurity and despair into himself again and again and when he realized she had been dead the whole time, he released everything he’d pent up as a god-killing star to destroy both her murderer and himself.

He died. He’s still alive. He’s a ghost haunting a memory trapped in a bubble on the outskirts of Hell. He wrote porn for 8 months there.

Having read (listened) to all of the locked tomb is giving me horrid brainrot but also is sort of funny. Being a dude (ish) mostly into dudes, reading all about, well everything in tlt is really funny. mlm solidarity to all you sobbing lesbians out there, I feel your pain spiritually

It makes sense that Adam and Eric weren't endgame. They were cute, grew together but it's hard to forget how much Adam bullied Eric in earlier seasons and was just an ass really.

I love Adam, and that he is actively working on being better, more open and communicating with people instead of hiding his emotions like he was taught to.

And I love Eric, he's such an upbeat and happy character and gets to be gay and happy about it plus his scenes with his dad made me cry, just all around great.

However what would be great is if their relationship(s) didn't fall into bad Gay tropes... The bully x victim thing was already iffy but cheating? Twice no less? With 0 consequences? Not a big fan. It makes sense that Eric doesn't want to be with Adam with his constant demonstrated need to be himself. It makes sense. Cheating and blaming it on your partner does not. I can't be the only person who feels like it goes against Eric's usual character, right? It didn't make sense to me. I would have loved to see him explore his culture and sexuality without cheating on Adam. It could have been a great catalyst for him to decide he needs to stop seeing Adam.

I just can't see any reason for him to cheat like that. Maybe for the drama? I don't know.

Hope truly is a fantastic villain, pure conservative terf. Knows how to dress and act young and understanding how to make you forget your dealing with an authority figure who wants order no matter what.

Starts the season off by going after Otis and Maeve to nip the 2 obvious trouble makers before moving on to focus on the black, queer and neurodivergent students, and there’s a clear intent in how she talks to the 3.

She does not respect Cal as a non binary person and sees them as a women, which makes the continuous assaults clearly misogynoir on top of transphobia and erasure.

She dismisses and then initially sees Jackson as useful particularly for image purposes before dumping him because of Jackson’s own sense of justice getting in her way.

Viv is the most useful for a lot of the season because as a neurodivergent coded character Viv is vulnerable to authority due to how isolating it can be, as well as her desire for structure and good prospects. Hopes treatment of Viv gets so comfortable that she finally says some gross stuff right before the open day. This ultimately destroys her plan cause us neurodivergent folk have a strong sense of justice when rattled, when something is wrong we hate it.

Then there’s the sign hanging scene. Truly monstrous attempt to tamp down on the school, force every student to follow the rules by directly separating the black (cal) queer (cal, lily, Adam) and nuerodivergent (it’s coding but lily and Adam have a lot of coding) students and labelling them as outcasts and freaks.

This all doesn’t work mainly because the students destroy hopes power the only way you can: make clear that you embrace being a loud proud deviant and are not going to be silenced

And right at the end when Hope is attempting to tut tut Otis with her ‘I’m older and wiser and everyone from back when agrees with me’ Otis destroys her logic calmly by saying ‘no, they just weren’t allowed to speak up back then’.

Pro tip: a useful trick to destroying a fascist is to make it clear they’re views are not popular and they are in the minority.

Like I’m surprised a British show went so hard on a specific type of horrible person that is a large part of why Britain has a transphobic movement.
