20-02-2024 Day #7

Today, I saw a little creature on the wall of a slumhouse. It was quite a strange little thing, it looked quite small and soft, lacking vertebrae of any sorts. Its skin was ashy and wrinkled. It leaves a moist trail as it moves.

I don't recall the name of such a creature, but I remember having seen something of the sort in The City's ecological center. Those were vastly different however. They are brightly coloured, come in all sorts of eccentric colours in fact. I remember a yellow and black one, it was quite fat. I remember the silly thing sitting in its enclosure chewing contentedly at its little leaves, blissfully unaware of the empty world around it.

For such a strange thing it has quite a beautiful nature, they were hermaphrodites you see. What a fascinating little thing.

Why I would love to try out this experience someday. Of course my days are numbered, and such substances are... less than easy to find. But wouldn't it be such excitement to finally try such substances? I hear it transcends all notions of consciousness. Oh I remember the days long ago where you would savour every moment, till she has to go, cause her boyfriend is the Rock n Roll. The old picture stars of the Hollywood would consume these like their daily vitamin pills. Of course, last records of such experiences have long been destroyed and all we have left are the ramblings of dying men and myths made to scare children into obedience.
