this is one of my favorite Looney Tunes comics, released 1951 and drawn by the ever-talented John Carey, who’s quickly rising up the ranks as one of my favorite animators… look at how CUTE those Daffys are!!! and Porky’s expression in the second to last panel is terrific
Recovering from a stubborn cold so unfortunately I don’t have anything more elaborate, but I was getting increasingly bothered at the prospect of not commemorating this very important day. Still doesn’t look a day over 83!
I'll be honest, I have very few memories of Minerva Mink, I drew her mostly because I was watching a video about her that actually explained why I don't remember her (beyond her being used as one of the stock image reactions for Stephanie Sterling's videos about the most recent videogame industry capitalist bullshit), she only appeared in two episodes (and made cameos on other character segments).
But then, I'm pretty sure the last time I watched animaniacs I was at an one digit of age, so maybe that why I barely remember her instead.
Anyway, the video made me think "oh, she makes some fun faces" and I felt like drawing her then, and then colorized the drawing today.
