🎯 Our Goals Are As Follows:
1. A public acknowledgment from Bruce Miller, Elisabeth Moss, or Hulu that the show strayed from Margaret Atwood’s intended narrative, particularly the deliberate dismantling of Nick’s arc.
2. An apology to the fandom for the misleading PR, narrative contradictions, and character assassinations (especially in Season 6).
3. A clear course correction in The Testaments. We’re not trying to cancel the sequel, we’re asking that it honor canon. Nick Blaine was always a resistor, a Mayday operative. That must be reflected.
4. Amplify support for Max Minghella, whose nuanced portrayal was dismissed and overwritten in favor of sensationalism.
5. Restore the story’s original themes — love as resistance, survival over martyrdom, rebellion over compliance.
LMAO…Some fans are really have a bizarre sense of entitlement.

‘Let’s be clear:
This is not about shipping. It’s about a fundamental violation of narrative trust, the gaslighting of viewers, and the erasure of one of the show’s most quietly revolutionary characters, Nick Blaine’.
So, it’s about shipping.

Jurassic World: Rebirth revealing all the remaining dinosaurs are dying out is all kinds of disappointing to me. What happened to Life Finds a Way. The end of Dominion. Guess we’ll have to wait until the film..

One of the big themes of the Jurassic films is genetic power and the abuse of it. Yet some fans don’t like when they explore more of it or even acknowledge it- the hybrids, the upcoming mutants and, yes, even Dominion’s locusts.
I just find it baffling.

It’s telling, almost bleakly predictable, how many readers/viewers bend over backwards to redeem Nick in The Handmaid’s Tale. The irony is thick: in a story centred on diminishing women’s rights and bodily autonomy, there’s this impulse to extend compassion to a man who, by design, helped build the world that made those violations possible. A few decent gestures and suddenly he’s a romantic lead, a “good guy” lost in a bad system. For the love everything, please be serious.
What this really reveals is one of the novel/show’s quieter lessons: the danger of male-centred women and pick-me behavior. Women who align themselves with oppressive systems, believing that proximity to power will protect them, often end up reinforcing the very structures that harm them. They think they’re the exception. They think they’ll be spared. And when they’re not, the damage is already done, not just to themselves but to others who counted on their resistance or even crossed paths with them.
Nick isn’t a rebel. He’s a functionary. A cog. A man who chose survival countless times through allegiance and only offered help when it was convenient or emotionally safe. That’s not heroism. It’s self-preservation dressed up in a softer light. And people begging for his forgiveness ignore the bigger truth: that it doesn’t matter if he “cared” when he still upheld the system that killed, raped, and dehumanized women.
But my biggest issue here is this: The desire to exonerate Nick is a symptom of something deeper and more troubling: the refusal to let go of patriarchal frameworks, even in dystopia. It’s the hope that if just one man can be kind, maybe the system isn’t that bad. But it is that bad. And clinging to a few scattered good deeds doesn’t absolve anyone of participating in its violence.

I am spoiling the live action Lilo & Stitch. And I am doing it up front and plainly.
Do not fucking see this movie. Do not waste your money on this. Period.
They made Nani give Lilo up to the American government. They made Nani LEAVE Hawaii and pursue being a marine biologist. They made a native Hawaiian character give up her sibling to pursue a dream that she originally did not have. This is imperialist propaganda at its FINEST.
The original fucking movie is about family staying together. It's about indigenous people being able to stay with each other and stay in their home and be together! That's the whole fucking point! Nani is Lilo's last living relative on her homeland—it is jarring, it is disgusting and disturbing that Nani would not only leave her last blood relative alone, give her up to the very government that is harming native Hawaiians TODAY, but also travel to the "mainland" for her dream!
Not to mention, Nani's actress isn't fucking Hawaiian. She's much paler in photos and real life. They fucking darkened her for this movie.
Don't even get me started on the transgender subtext of Pleakley's "human" disguise from the original movie being completely erased in favor of him being played by a regular ass white man. Jumba doesn't have his accent, they made him more villainous, and his "human" disguise is a non-fat white man—which part of his original joke, I know, is that he was bigger and was more clumsy in the movie because of his size, but to have the main shape of his character completely removed is also fucking weird.
This live action movie is a desecration to the original. I encourage you to not see it, please. Don't give Disney any of your money on this one. Just watch the original. Please just watch the original.
The new message in the live action movie is disturbing and gross.
This is one of the most disrespectful live actions I've seen and heard of. I implore you to not watch it.

my friend brought this up-
‘(This season had) Redemptions for Serena, Lydia, Naomi, and Lawrence (Joseph had a great ending!) but nothing for Nick. That is bullshit.’
While I’m not sure if I agree that these characters were ultimately redeemed, it is not fair that Nick was left out of this. In Seasons One-Five did help June plenty… then now in Season Six he’s too far gone?
I’m beginning to understand why his fans are upset. I might not for other reasons but this? Yeah, I get it.

The only way the writers failed Nick is they forgot the golden rule-show not tell.
Despite this we’re told-
*Nick was a soldier in the ‘crusades’ (this is either when the Sons of Jacob attacked the White House and Congress or the civil war between Gilead and the remnants of the United States) for Gilead. Serena says ‘we wouldn’t be here without him’ (what exactly that means we don’t know).
*Switzerland has information on him indicating that he is not to be trusted. Again we don’t know what kind of information they have
We are SHOWN however-
*Nick being sent to Chicago to continue battling the leftover American forces. More so he’s shown leading an entire train’s-worth of soldiers, all of whom salute him. Which shows he’s in a position of power.
To say Season Six screwed over his character is blatantly false.

I've been dreaming of Boston. Not Boston now, and not Boston from before. It’s another Boston. It’s the way things would be if there was never a Gilead.
