I hit my limit with a certain individual and have blocked them on this account as I have my other account. It will cut down on interactions on this account but it keeps peace of mind for the moment. :)

Naturally, things should be taken slowly and not hurriedly. 

A slow burn development isn't always natural for people. It's a particular thing, I mean look in life. There are people who will get together in two weeks and are married in just a few months.

This isn't something you can do with a blind recluse that is now coming to terms with his actions after admitting he did something that God would condemn him for and has done so in his mind. If he is still alive and suffering from his survival and guilt.

I don't mind writing with people; I'm a role-player it's what I enjoy doing.

Smut is an option, but I do need a build-up to that point. Even plotting, as Norman isn't exactly a character you just meet and screw.

I understand that might be how some writers can be, but it's not how I can be.

So, yes, I don't mind…but I also have my limitations.

I've run into enough people that rush character development and try to force a connection with characters…and every time it happens, I get put off by the development because seeing from the character's point of view means I have to think as they do and if they wouldn't want this kind of attention.

Then I can't force myself to write it for them to experience when it's out of character for them.
