in a period where i could really use playing ts2. so i'm trying to fix my jumping sims bug and it's caused by both my folders with traits and with hacks. will have to 50-50 this one further.

MOTHERLODE part 1- Bodyshape Undies & Swimwear (a collaboration with @kaylynn-langerak)

Did I mention I've been busy in my time away from Tumblr? Because boy oh boy I have been BUSY. I made other stuff and posted it on Dreamwidth before this, but that will come later because I absolutely could not. wait to share this 😄

This is a project that started in October but got put on the backburner for Halloween and an Advent I did for my friends on Discord. Then Jane and I desided to collab on it, since we have similar taste and she uses some of the same bodyshapes I do (if you like my CC and haven't checked out hers, please do!) And it just kept snowballing into more and more stuff, and we figured we should pause for a bit and start sharing.

I'm now using 6 bodyshapes in my game: Classic Pinup, Voluptuous Gal, Dummy Thicc, Renaissance Gal, Momma Lisa, and Trans Momma Lisa. @letomills has shared a ton of awesome undies & swimwear for DT, ML, & TrML, but I had nothing for the other shapes yet that suit my style, and the available meshes for them have… 3D anatomy bits. Now don't get me wrong, I do enjoy the realism… on NAKED sims. And I'm sure there are others that agree, plus people who'd like to use bodyshapes but prefer blockfeet. So I took it upon myself to create a set of new meshes, and expand on Leto's. I bring you:

NEW (smooth) undies/swim meshes for CPU, Vol Gal, & Ren Gal, with blockfeet/Maxis hands, sexyfeet/Maxis hands, or sexyfeet/smooth hands

Leto's DT, ML, & TrML meshes with sexyfeet/smooth hands option

4 sets of swimwear & 3 sets of undies on these meshes

As I do now as usual with multi-shape clothing, all files are BSOK'd (with non-BSOK'd option for Maxis shapes), and repo'd/texture-referenced to a required bundle labeled TEXTURES so you can keep whichever recolors you want for each shape. (I know there's a repo utility available now, but I prefer this way so there's no required "master" set). Just the shapes I did are pictured in the previews, but original AF versions and any that Leto did already are included and repo'd when applicable.

Please note that in my previews, my Trans Momma Lisa sims have skins made for their bodyshape and thus have the appropriate (AF) breast texture. I make bodyshape versions of skins on a per-sim basis for my game, but Leto has some here that I highly recommend.

And this is just part 1. It's the biggest part, but they all use the same set of meshes so I'm putting them together. Jane also uses DT, Ren Gal, and ML, so some of my sets don't include these shapes, but when she posts them I will be editing the post to link to hers.

Basic Undies & Swimwear - Meshes

First things first: You're gonna need meshes! I decided that from now on meshes I use for multiple shapes for multiple projects will be uploaded once and linked in my posts as a "Mesh Pack." That way I won't have to include 18 different meshes if I make something for all 6 shapes with all 3 hands/feet options, and it saves me file storage space 😅 AF recolors won't need a mesh unless otherwise specified. So here's the one for just regular undies & swimwear. Includes 3 options (choose ONE) for CPU, Vol Gal, DT, Ren Gal, ML, & TrML:

This is a brand new set by me! I've been wanting to recolor this forever. There are 12 recolors - 4 solid colors and 8 patterns. I solved the potential boob stretchage issue by keeping the top part solid.

This set is hands down one of my favorite things I've ever made for TS2. Since there were so many recolors originally, I did the ones I use the most - the galaxy prints, gradients, and opalescent. I'm not sure if I'm going to do the solid colors at some point but this is labeled "Part 1" just in case.

Aoife's Maxis Match Face Templates UPDATED.

Now less gendered, more consistent between ages, and with baby faces! More info and a bunch of pictures below.

Finally, after months, I have finished these. A long time ago now, I'd made my original templates but didn't really pay any mind to how gendered faces really are, and how inconsistent they are between each age. I love the Maxis faces, I just wanted them to look a little less lumpy, and to replace ones that I felt were redundant. Basically, I hated that with any given template, I couldn't really tell what a sim was going to look like as an adult because every face looked different at each stage!

So today I bring to you my less gendered Maxis Match templates, where I have chosen which face I felt was more iconic and matched the other gender with it, and then made every age look more like that template (including baby faces).

Martin Ruben can be a good example:

Yeah, sure, the eyes are the same, but that's pretty much where the likeness ends. A lot of the templates will do this, and some of the female faces suffered for it (jaws were outlawed on females in 2004, didn't you know?)

They aren't perfect but they're miles better than the originals! I also think they bring a lot more variety to faces, because I did notice that a lot of the templates would use face parts from entirely different templates! Face 2's eyes and face 1's nose are really popular, as well as yeeting jaws and chins out the window.

If you noticed in some of the pictures, the ears clipped through a few hairs, and that's because I also took the liberty of adding custom ear shapes to almost every face. No, it didn't occur to me to change the hairstyle I picked for photos until I was already on face 18 and didn't want to start over.

These aren't perfect, and maybe someday I'll go over them again to change more minute details, but for now, I'm very happy with how they turned out! Please let me know if there are any issues, I triple checked everything but I probably missed something somewhere.

I honestly ADORE androgynous Servos, but always felt weird seeing them walk around in the buff. So I decided to dress Criquette's WHT-FC28 default, in some appropriate androgynous clothes. This uses the work of many different people, I'll try to keep the description brief, but I've put a full list of credits/links under the cut.

The face is mostly Criquette's, but with whites ears & eyelids by Lilith, taken from Epi's edit. It comes only in the New/Matte version. I used the meshes from Amaryll's original, but removed the teeth/tongues from the head to reduce poly count, & added a version with the Maxis Warlock hat for magic Servos. The eyes are TechnoAngel's Cyborg Eyes, converted for TS2 by Gryning. Vampires will have red eyes, yellow for Werewolves, & purple for Witches.

For the everyday outfit, I mashed together YanderePlum's pants, with Letomills' version the AxA Adrian top, using Epi's texture. The dress is a shoe-swap of Lifa's Retro Dress, with Elexis' Lola Pumps. The suit is by Magpie, with texture from Amaryll. In the spirit of Androgyny, I've marked both formal outfits as unisex, so if you unlock hidden outfits you can use both no matter how your Servo is initialised.

A version of SummerGlau's uninitialsed servo is also included, since it makes sense for a freshly built Servo to be unclothed. It requires the main default to work, but uses a separate face texture, with the eyes recoloured to appear switched off.

I've also included a hat free version, for people who prefer completely uniform Servos, & a body only version for people who want clothed Servos, prefer a different face texture.

Misomoso's Feb Sweater M2F

Well, this is one of the things I dug up from my long-forgotten folders. The mesh (Trapping's TSS top edit) was converted to AF by Eir a while ago, however, I edited the mesh quite a bit, and ended up making a new mesh I couldn't find where it was reuploaded anyway. And copy-pasted these sweater recolors on them, because I like them! Yeah, that's it.

They're for AF, TF, and EF, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 16 colors (swatch is stolen). You can choose if you want them repo'd to the AM files (that you can find here), or not :)

Serenity Aster Undies

This is a new mesh distinct from the one I made for the MartaXL swimwear & underwear set. It has no alternative feet options since that wouldn't work with the socks, so feel free to delete the sockless recolors (2 & 14) if you have a 'no blockfeet' policy for your game.

Supernatural Default Skins for IO's 0320 edit v2

So, I've been using this skin by IO (@serabiet) edited by Sam (@dreadpirate @veronavillequiltingbee) as my default for some time and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.

The only problem I had with them is that there weren't any Vampire / PlantSim / Evil Witch / Zombie / Genie matching skins... so I made them!

Human Skin

Here's how Sims in the 4 skin tones look with the human skin, so you can compare them:

Vampire

With this overlay vampires are paler, have cooler/grayer skin than human sims, and have red eyes.

Zombie

This skin/overlay is totally opaque, this means that their original skin color won't change how they look even if you have the Zombie Overlay mod by @midgethetree.

I still recommend using that mod with this skin, because if you do, zombies' eyes will be white instead of their normal color.

Evil Witch

This overlay has transparency. With this overlay evil witches will be green, but their original skin color will change how they look.

I didn't make an overlay replacement for Good Witches because it already works well with the skin. If you don't like it, you can always use a mod that disables it.

Note: be sure the witch skin loads after creaturesfixes if you have it. If the skin loads before the mod, the witches' scalp will look a different color than their skin. I spend like 1 hour trying to fix the scalp looking weird and it turned out to be this lol

PlantSim

This overlay is totally opaque, this means that their original skin color won't change how they look.

There's also the wilted version but I forgot to take pictures
