The thing is. It does piss me off when people severely exaggerate how bad Carter’s parents were but between that awful hug (at one of his grandparent’s funeral?) with his dad and his mom outright stating that she never thought about how his brother’s death affected him when he was eight and the whole not coming to visit him in the hospital until three weeks after he was stabbed and almost died. Well maybe they have some points
